This private 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath unobstructed ocean view family home HAS AIR CONDITIONING and is approximately 3028 square feet. This 2 story Beachfront home sleeps 10-12 people comfortably in beds, and has ample parking for 4-5 vehicles. We also installed a $5,500.00 water filtration system for the entire home.
Enjoy long walks on The Strand or swim and boogie board in the beautiful Pacific Ocean. The beach is a great place for everyone to gather and enjoy.
NOTE: CITY OF OCEANSIDE IS REQUIRING ALL VACATION RENTALS (UNDER 50 UNITS AT ONE PROPERTY) TO BE INSPECTED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND CODE ENFORCEMENT. THIS INSPECTION IS TO MAKE SURE THAT THE PROPERTY YOU ARE RENTING IS SAFE. WE PASSED WITH ZERO VIOLATIONS. WE CAN PROVIDE THE REPORT IF REQUESTED. What WE LOVE ABOUT OUR PROPERTY:
Besides the Spectacular Ocean Views, our home is situated close to the Pier and Downtown Oceanside, This great location offers guests the opportunity of great walk-ability to many of Oceanside's amenities including parks and playground, restaurants, bars and breweries, coffee shops, Regal Movie Theater, cafes, train station, retail shops, Farmer's Market and Sunset Market (Thursday only) and water adventures. The Harbor which is approximately a half mile away also includes restaurants and retail shops, water sport rentals (jet skis, boats, paddle boards, peddle boats, kayaks, fishing charters, dolphin and whale watching charters (depending on the season) for a fee.
The street level of our home offers a 3 car garage plus 2 parking spots in the driveway which is very unusual for a private beach home. There is also additional street parking with specific times posted for cleaning. Please be aware of this and read all posted street signs. There is a paid parking lot about 6 properties down (no overnight parking allowed). Hours are posted at the lot.
The street level of our home also includes a front ocean view patio, complete mother-in-law suite which includes a remodeled kitchen, remodeled bathroom, game room with pool table, dining table, living room with large flat screen television and DVD player, large bedroom with (2) queen pillow top beds, television, outdoor patio with counter height patio table, fire pit (fire column) and barbecue.
The second level (main living area of our home) is very spacious with a large open floor plan. We completed a major outdoor remodel in May 2023. Recent updates through out our home include new enlarge ocean front balcony, new patio cover, new 15’ wide x 8’ tall sliding glass doors that pocket behind the new fireplace ( giving you a very large indoor/outdoor space between the living room and balcony area). new granite counter tops, new sinks, new faucets, and (3) remodeled bathrooms.
From gourmet chefs to beginner cooks, the large comfortable kitchen can accommodate anyone for easy meal preparations. Our kitchen has granite counter tops and has an abundant supply of dishes. Also included are KitchenAid stainless steel appliances, many small kitchen appliances including vegetable steamer, crock pot, pressure cooker, (2) griddles, (2) waffle makers, (2) coffee makers (Keurig and Mr Coffee), toasters, toaster oven, blenders, Temptations Bake Ware and so much more.
The beautiful wood dining table seats 8 people comfortably, plus 4-7 people at the kitchen counter (additional bar height chairs downstairs) and a bar height table that sits an additional 4 people. Plenty of room for everyone to eat meals together.
The comfortable and inviting living room has plenty of seating with a couch, love seat and chair. A large 65" television mounted above the fire place includes Cox Cable and a DVD player. Five windows and 8’ tall x 15’ wide slider allows for incredible ocean views from inside the house and plenty of natural light.
The oceanfront balcony has a Genesis II gas barbecue for easy grilling for large groups, and a dining table that seats up to 6 people. There is also a love seat, coffee table, (2) chairs, and fire pit (fire column) for your enjoyment. You can also sit and eat at the bar rails giving you an amazing ocean view.
The balcony is a wonderful place to relax, read a book and enjoy the beautiful views (views of Oceanside Pier to La Jolla). Enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning or a nice glass of wine in the evening listening to and watching the beautiful waves and surfers. We have seen multiple dolphins from our balcony and have seen whales pass during whale season.
The large Master bedroom retreat has a California King bed with double sided pillow top mattress, remodeled master bath with a double shower head walk in shower, jacuzzi tub, large walk in cedar closet and dual vanity sinks. There is a large television mounted on the wall. In the corner of the bedroom is a comfy reclining leather chair to curl up in and read a book. The Master bedroom also has a small private partial ocean view balcony with 2 bar height chairs and patio table.
The main floor also features two additional bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed with pillow top mattress, (2) night stands, dresser, large closet, television and is decorated to welcome and relax any guests. The other bedroom is decorated in a"beach theme" decor and also has a queen bed with double sided pillow top mattress, large walk in cedar closet, (2) night stands, television and a large dresser. There is a large bathroom in between bedrooms #2 and 3 with a walk in shower which was completely renovated.
There is also a half bath on the main floor and we have (2) twin size roll-a-way-beds which can be placed throughout the home.
Additional amenities include hi speed wireless internet, large DVD library, lots of books (for all ages), games, puzzles, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, coolers and wagon. Also, a large front load washer and dryer. AND AIR CONDITIONING. Sometimes it is hot in the summer, Even though you are so close to the water, you need air conditioning! We also have an outdoor shower to wash off after a long day at the beach that has hot and cold water. Please rinse sand off before going into the house.
Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farms is approximately a 45 minutes drive. Legoland is approximately 10 minute drive. Sea World and Old Town San Diego is about a 40 minute drive. Other area attractions include wineries, Missions, professional sports arenas, Safari Park, bowling, golfing, Del Mar Race Track/ Fairground. Mexico is about a 1 hour drive. .
We take extreme pride in our beach house. We bought it in October 2017 and strive to give our guests the best vacation possible. This is a clean and comfortable family home that has ample space for large groups to spread out and not be on top of each other.
Additional things to know abut the property:
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE - NO EXCEPTIONS!
(Forfeiture of full Security Deposit if anyone smokes in the house).
NO PETS ALLOWED AT THE HOUSE.
Security cameras are being installed on the outside of our home in March 2023 behind the house, on the walkways and front of garage facing the street. NO CAMERAS are installed on the ocean front balcony (only on the lower perimeter of the property.)
The house is located on The Strand. Since the house is located so close to the water, City of Oceanside has placed large rock boulders between The Strand and beach to help protect the houses during High Tides. (Small staircase for beach access is two houses over)
The beach size in front of the house depends on mother nature. Sometimes the beach is large and life guards drive their trucks on the beach, people lay out or play games on the beach. Other times the tide is high and the water comes all the way to the top of the rocks. We can not guarantee the beach size during your stay. It's all up to Mother Nature. There is always a nice sandy beach approximately 5-7 minute walk towards the pier.
Our house is located next to full time neighbors. Absolutely no parties or events at the house. Please be considerate and keep the noise down. If you have excessive noise, you will be asked to leave. Please be considerate of neighbors and only park in designated areas.
