Beautiful Balboa Island Bayfront Beach House

Located on the most desirable bay front street on Balboa Island and completely renovated in 2017, offers sweeping views of Newport Harbor, sunsets and the iconic Pavilion. Enjoy the ever changing boating scene from the front row vantage point! The home consists of two exquisitely designed rental units, each with A/C, a gas barbecue, washer/dryer, 1 car garage and just minutes to the Island Ferry and Peninsula Fun Zone.

The Lower Unit of the up and down duplex features an open great room upon entry, leading to a bayfront brick patio with sweeping Newport Harbor views. The adjacent kitchen includes a six burner stainless range with double ovens, honed Black Absolute granite counters and counter seating for five. The master bedroom with king bed has an en suite bath with white marble counter and custom tile work. There is a second guest room with king bed which shares a bath with an adjacent guest room with two twin beds, as well as a convenient half bath. All bedrooms have blackout shades, with ceiling fans and hardwood floors throughout. The beach is practically at the front door!

Our third stay!
This was our third stay at the property since 2019. We have stayed in the upstairs unit as well. Honestly, it just keeps getting better. Very well maintained and upgrades noticed each time we have stayed. Communication if first rate! It will continue to be our first choice in SoCal!

New Year on Balboa!
Great place with the family to ring in the New Year!! Few better locations in So Cal than Balboa and we had a great house right on the water a few steps down from the ferry to Newport. The accommodations were fantastic, the communication with the property manager was top notch and we can’t wait to stay here again! Thanks for a great week on Balboa.

Balboa Bayfront Beauty
This is our 2nd stay at this location, but our first time in the lower unit. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. We spent lots of time in the living room and kitchen area with the doors open to the outside. We had coffee on the patio, sat on the sand in the afternoons, made dinner "at home" in the stocked and roomy kitchen and then back to the patio to watch the sunset and the Christmas lights come on. It was perfect. And, we can't wait to come back.

We stayed at the oceanfront property on Balboa - we enjoyed the long walks and the downtown shops and restaurants. Balboa Island is a great place to vacation and we loved the VRBO property.

Perfect week on the Island!
We've stayed here multiple years and it never disappoints. House is clean and we can see improvements are made each winter which is much appreciated given the cost that goes into a vacation. Appliances recently updated are a big improvement and the house is well appointed with everything you need. Working with Julie the property manager is great, she takes the initiative to call beforehand if something needs to be communicated (like roadwork in the alley this year) and is overall a very friendly and competent person to work with. Great vacation as usual!

We have stayed at several vacation rentals in the area and this is by far our favorite. The home is very well cared for and the management is very attentive. The view is the absolute best! We have rented this home twice and we will definitely be back!

Ah, ......Christmas on Balboa!! South Bayfront is the absolute PERFECT location for immersing oneself in the frantic festivities of Christmas, both in the neighborhood and on the Marina. This is our second Christmas at 606, great meals with our extended family and plenty of holiday cheer. Plus swimming at your front door! Julie, the property manager, is always a pro and a delight to work with, making sure everything is "complete and perfect" in the house. We can't say enough about our stay and the house, just fantastic! Bravo. We'll be back......Regards, R

Birthday Celebration
I was celebrating a milestone birthday and stayed the week of the boat parade. What a fabulous location to celebrate at ! The house is at a great location, easy walking to the Ferry to go to the Newport Peninsula. Easy walking to Marine Avenue where shops and restaurants are located. So relaxing watching the boats in the harbor go by the house. I would definitely recommend this house to stay at!

Balboa Bay Beauty
Wow! This property had everything. Beautiful view, spacious accommodations, great kitchen, convenient to everything. We have stayed at a lot of hotels, etc and these were the most comfortable beds, so important on a trip. We were a little worried about the parking situation but there was no problem at all finding parking on the streets. Our family said one week wasn’t enough so we will be back for a longer stay. The property manager, Julie was very helpful, friendly and attentive. Thank you we all had a great time.
