Warm, inviting and spacious living space, this golf course property has stunning wood work, high ceiling, granite and copper counters, all stainless steel appliances, a hot tub, firewood and a fireplace, with sophisticated kitchen appliances, and high end finishes. Walking distance to downtown, 15 min drive to Northstar and 20 min to Squaw Valley. Walking distance to the Truckee River (1 mile) and on the legacy trail. Golf course view outside the window, great 2 decks with seating, and ample parking. Pumps if you need to inflate your inner tubes for rafting, sleds and more are yours when you stay with us. Garage is yours to use.
The house has everything - towels, two full drawers of DVDs, games, puzzles, firewood, spices, slippers, shampoo and conditioner and all other items you might need.

A wonderful family home

We had a great stay in this beautiful home! Plenty of room for our family of 5. The hot tub was the perfect addition to the home. Well stocked and very clean. Close to downtown, ice skating, and restaurants. Highly reccomend!

Great stay!

Awesome stay! Easy access to ski areas (has a garage, so nice to not need to dig the car out a bunch of times😭) we also booked super last minute (huge snowfall decided to wait out the storm and ski) and they accomodated nicely! Thank you!

Beautiful home and area

We enjoyed this comfortable and lovely home. We had fun at thte lake, rafting. We had great BBQ meals. Everything well stocked and organized. Only one thing that was weird. The neigbor woman living in the corner house would watch us and stand staring at us. This happened three times.It was a bit creepy and seemingly hostile.

False charges

The mattresses were old the carpet was dirty the heating system filter was gross also once you open the hot tube and get in , it drops temperature and in no time it’s a semi warm tube but to top it off the owner said we smoked pot in the house ( IT NEVER HAPPENED) and changed us $$$$,$$ for carpet and mattress cleaning. I was a 5 star renter STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE ! Also always check with the local vacation rental company’s before using VRBO they adds other fees on and if you have a problem with the home owners there is no one on earth you can speak with

Fantastic house!

First, the pictures online do not do this property justice! It’s really stunning and immaculate inside. Plus it may be the most well appointed kitchen I’ve stayed in which was a huge bonus since we cooked in most of the week. Two families rented the space together and it was spacious and perfect for both the sleeping arrangements and living space. Its also in a great location being close to Northstar and downtown Truckee. I would definitely stay here again!

Spring Break Ski 2021

Gorgeous cabin in a fantastic location to everything the area has to offer. All the amenities you could possibly need for an extended getaway. The owners have taken great pride in their home and it shows. We will definitely be back again in the future.

Had a great time with minor issues

Overall the house was beautiful and in a great location. House had a lot of amenities but we ran out of paper towels and dishwasher soap. The hot tub was still being cleaned and refilled at 5:00pm so it was not hot enough to use our first night, which was a major bummer since we were only staying 2 nights. Also there were only two towels for the hot tub so we had to use bathroom towels and wash/dry them for showers in the morning. House instructions were clear and simple. Overall enjoyed our getaway with our friends and would come back again.

Perfect combination of amenities and comfort

The owners were very responsive and helpful through the whole process. We enjoyed our stay for many reasons. Comfortable house, good location near downtown Truckee and nice quiet neighborhood with close access to sledding and other snow play for our son. Plenty of room and good separation of the rooms for adults and kids. We hope to return again if available. Really nice spot.

Home away from home!

This house met all the expectations and more. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a meat thermometer! The layout was perfect for our situation. At first, we thought the beds felt hard but after sleeping in them they were actually quite comfortable! We arrived and stayed during a pretty big snow storm so we had to do some shoveling which in the end ended up being some fun family times! I definitely would recommend this rental and we cant wait for our next return!

Fabulous home and time

The house was amazing. Everything that we would ever need was there. My wife and I had an amazing time. We even had a few inches of snow one night and the drivway was already plowed when we woke up. Would highly recommend this house for anyone who wants a little "r+r"

Great house - better than the pics suggest!

Wow, we had a great time staying in this fantastic home. Very spacious, high quality everything, and great location (I rode my bike down to the waterfront trail from the house and did a big loop - so fun!). We shared the house with another family. The kids loved the bunk room and there was space and privacy for everyone. Location is close to Truckee and I-80 but also quiet and scenic in the trees and golf course. We would love to stay here again!

Great cabin and location

We stayed in the cabin for our weekend trip to Northstar. The location is close to Northstar and Truckee downtown. The cabin is very clean. Very recommended

Gorgeous and cozy

We had a great family ski trip. The kitchen was fully stocked to cook at home, close to the slopes, the hot tub was just what we needed, and the beds were comfy! We would absolutely stay again!

Excellent comfortable stay

Really enjoyed this cabin, had everything we were looking for. Beautiful interior, lots of space, all cooking essentials (we were there for Christmas so that was perfect), a brilliant location so close to downtown Truckee, and probably the highlights - a fantastic Hot Tub! One thing I was initially hesitant about was the tv/size (when you have 2 young kids and are cabin-bound this is important) but it was definitely decent, although smaller it was still good easy viewing, perhaps a 40 inch? Anyway, had a great time and would easily stay again!

Beautiful home, perfect location, people with small children may not be the best fit.

We stayed in this lovely home for 12 days while 3 of our children were at summer camp. The home is wonderful and very comfortable. Our only issues: We were very hot with no air. We solved that by purchasing a fan to keep the upstairs cooler during the night and opened windows. The white couch and carpet are not a good fit for children even when enforcing the no shoes inside rule. Our 3 year old found a drawer with markers and regrettably drew on the couch and damaged it. The trees outside were in the middle of pollination, this created a massive amount of dust and pine needles. The decks were covered in it. It might help to have that blown off? I wish the vacuum had worked well to keep up with it. We ended up having to pay to have the carpets cleaned out of the deposit. I wish we had taken pictures before to compare. I am not upset about part of the deposit being held. The owners and cleaners are making that choice. We know now it’s helpful to take pictures upon arrival. With so many beautiful decorations it was stressful to keep out of small hands. There was no furniture to store clothes in. Overall this home was very nice and a perfect location! We loved it! For our family we will avoid carpet and homes with special personal belongings. The owners were nice. This was not a good match for us only because of stated reasons above. Not a good fit for some people with small children. A group with older children and up would love this home and all it offers. If you want relaxation close to all Lake Tahoe and Truckee offer, this is a killer home to rent.

The perfect ski rental

If you are looking for a centrally located ski rental in the Tahoe area book this house before someone else does! It has everything you need, comfortable beds, awesome kitchen, large hot tub, fireplace and dry wood, a fantastic espresso maker...the list goes on. The owners, Bill and Orna, have thought of everything and are very organized with their communication. The house is close to downtown Truckee bars/restaurants/shops etc. 100 feet from the house is a bike/hiking path to Truckee that is plowed (!). It's close enough to walk but far enough away that you don't hear any noise from downtown. If I could give this rental 6 stars I would.

Absolutely amazing

Excellent location near downtown Truckee and 10 minute drive to Northstar. Fully loaded kitchen, spotless house with lots of open space, and amazing hot tub! The hosts were very gracious and responded promptly to any questions! I will definitely rent this house again! It could not possibly have been a better experience!

Very Cozy in Truckee

8 of us stayed in December and had lovely time and were perfectly comfortable. We enjoyed the amenities such as the Jura coffee maker, Nest, wifi, hot tub and appreciated the use of the many kitchen items as we cooked most meals. We were so close to Squaw/Alpine for skiing and downtown Truckee which is adorable. We noticed an ice rink right around the corner although we didn't have time to check it out. One issue was the ice-covered front stairs driveway were dangerous and would have been nice to have some sand to make them less slippery. Thank you for your hospitality Bill and Orna!

The perfect house

7 of us stayed in this house for 3 nights. The house is absolutely perfect. Very clean, modern, and high-tech. Pictures from the web are very accurate. Location is excellent: close to downtown Truckee and freeway. Owners provided us with everything and more for our stay: sleepers, single use toiletries, towels, kitchen cabinet staff (salt, oil etc), games, videos.... I cannot mention everything. They even let us use the garage. Even though we did not encounter any ice or snow, it was extremely nice touch. Hot tub is new, clean and very nice. Honestly, we have been renting houses for short stay in Tahoe on-and-off for the last 15 years and this one is the best one we have ever stayed in. Thank you, Orna and Bill for your hospitality! We hope to stay there again!
