Home away from Home

I’ve had some mediocre experiences in the past, so we were not sure of what we would get. Our apartment in Waikiki surpassed all our expectations. The unit itself is spacious and the bedroom was much bigger than expected. The kitchen is functional and includes everything that a person could possibly need. We mostly prepared our own meals and the stove/oven were excellent. The washer and dryer was a bonus. The bathroom was suitable for us, large enough with plenty of storage space. Thank goodness it didn’t have a bath. The shower was large and there was plenty of hot water. But what we loved the most was the balcony. With a view of the Moana Surfrider in one direction and the mountains in the other, we were in Waikiki Heaven. The swimming pool and recreation area are excellent and the pool is heated, so is comfortable any day of the year. I will return!

Convenient, Safe, Good size, Laundry in suite, Nice Parking Spot, Full size appliances!

Just as advertised. Sure it’s a little dated, but it has everything you need and it’s close to all Waikiki has to offer. I stayed here 35 days and the longer I was there the more I appreciated it. Ice cold AC, nice balcony, no bugs in sight, I could go on. I would stay here again.

Great Location

Great location! Lots of shops nearby. I stayed here for the summer for work and brought my family for a summer vacation as well. It was a great experience. Central to everything but just off the busy streets. Nice breeze at night so always had the living room door cracked to let the Breeze in. Parking spot available with property so it was convenient if renting a car. Would stay here again.

Great stay, great place, and more

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was close to the beach,,,5-10 min walk only. Enough room for 3 adults even with the sofabed left open the entire time. The kitchen was well equipped, amenities were great. Tho with such a nice kitchen, a dishwasher and garbage disposal would have been even nicer. Loved that they had beach towels, chairs, and boggie boards/snorkles for our use. Nice that the parking and great internet was included in the price so no extra charges were imposed. Would be better if they had laundry detergent available to wash clothes. We only had one load to wash and nearby stores only had regular detergent for single use. We didn't need a whole bottle! Suggestion: The washer only uses HE detergent, so if you provide the HE detergent, someone won't inadvertently use "regular" detergent in your washer. I will definitely come back and also recommend this place to others.

Great place and location. Just what I was looking for.

Comfortable king size bed, washer and dryer in the unit was great. Only downside is the lanai was to noisy to sit on and enjoy do to 2 window A/C units running, you had to turn them off to enjoy the view. Kitchen was great, but needed better lighting for cooking. Overall great stay and everything I needed for my 3 week stay. Would stay here again in the future without hesitation.

All the comforts of home...

The unit is in the heart of Waikiki. Dawn who let us in made sure we had all the comforts of home available. The unit had all the necessary items, dishes, etc, plus boogie boards, chairs, beach towels, and mats for the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai every evening. The in unit washer/dryer was great to have. There are two air conditioning units which cooled the unit off quickly. There were only two people in the unit and we had plenty of room. This place was our temporary home until we found an apartment. Laurynn the booking agent was helpful in putting me in touch with a property for rent. And she also checked her rentals to see if their company had a long term rental. Both Laurynn and Dawn made our stay wonderful and they both went the extra mile to help us. out.

Nice but Some Problems

Pros: clean, attractive condo, great location, nice swimming pool. Cons: There was not a sofa bed as shown in the photo. There was a rock hard futon that slept only one person and was too hard to sit on if you wanted to watch TV. There is no TV in the bedroom, so be warned. The kitchen was beautiful but no dish towels or measuring cups or spoons and we had to request some dish soap. No comfortable seating in living room. One of the elevators in lobby broke and would be out of order for 2 weeks. The rental company said they were obtaining a sofa bed but that was too late for me.

It was amazing and just like the pictures!!

After a long trip, we walked into the warmth of this beautiful condo that transported us to the Hawaiian life for 6 nights. The location is good. The condo was a short stroll (7 minutes) to Waikiki Beach and the lagoon.We were within walking distance to everything we wanted. The host was helpful in terms of answering questions. The furniture are comfy and room was clean. The unit was clean and the view was amazing after many days exploring the island. It also slept all four members of our family very comfortably. And while it provides free Wifi like everywhere else, something more rare was its offer for free secured parking. The kitchen is clean and has all what you need if you are planning to prepare some food at home. The king size bed in bedroom was wonderful. Also, Dawn Wemple, was really kind and friendly, always eager to help us with any kind of trouble. She responded to our messages very quickly and handled the situations in a professional way, which we really appreciated. She supplied us beach chairs, towels, equipment for snorkeling…all for our use. We thought this is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Our family had a really great time in the post stay of our vacation because of this unit. In any case, I highly recommend it to those who are interested!

Absolutely fantastic!!!!!

This property was amazing - the location hands down the best in Waikiki (unless you're shelling out $2000/night for beachfront resort suite). I have made dozens of trips to Oahu - vacations and some business - and have never stayed in this part of Waikiki. Usually staying at super expensive hotels/resorts on the beach. I had no idea what a pleasure it is to be just one street off the main drag (Kalakaua Ave) - you are almost 'there', but without the traffic, noise and congestion. I will never stay anywhere else in Waikiki again; this was so perfect. We could walk everywhere - literally 2 min. to beach, 1 (small) block to the only grocery store in Waikiki and of course, all the shopping you can imagine. Also, quick in and out of Waikiki to get to other parts of the island and Oahu. The condo is beautiful, very well provisioned, the hosts were fantastic - they made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth check-in, the condo looks brand new. Oh - did I say 'in-unit washer/dryer?'. I know no one wants to do laundry on their vacation, but hey, if you have to, there's nothing like having it right there if you need it. The bed in the master is a KING too - other places we've stayed would have a Queen, so that was another happy surprise! Can't say enough about the convenience of having a full-size grocery store within steps of your condo. The view is GORGEOUS! My family and I stood on the balcony when we arrived and amazed ourselves at the view from ocean to city to mountains; absolutely stunning. Overall, the best 2 weeks ever in Honolulu; this place is fantastic and our family would stay there again in a heartbeat!
