Great Location and View!!!
This property was a great spot! Every afternoon we were able to sit on the deck and enjoy the view of the mountains and see deer in the yard. That was awesome. They knew we were there, but the deer did their daily routine. I would highly recommend.

Not REALLY a 5 bedroom
Most important, one room they are counting as a bedroom can only be accessed through upper master bedroom. I'll expand on that in a minute. When you enter the front door, you'll be in a small foyer. Open the next door and you'll be on a landing with the choice of going up stairs or down stairs. Go down the stairs and the door in front of you is a nice laundry room. Go right and you're in the dining area with a super huge table. Dining connects to kitchen on the left. Kitchen is really big with a jumbo island and a powder room off to the side. Walk to left out of kitchen and you'll be in a small area with the swing and doors going to deck. Keep going straight and now you're in area with pool table. Walk straight from there and you'll be in the family room (with projection screen) . Go through door at front left and you'll be in the first floor king bedroom, which has a smaller bathroom. Cross the bedroom, open a door and you'll be back in front of the laundry room and stairs. Go up both sets of stairs and you're on landing. There's a door on left which is locked and unaccesible. To the right is the twin bedroom, a shared bath, and a queen bedroom. But wait... where are bedrooms 4 and 5? Go down both sets of stairs and walk around house to the family room and go up the stairs there. On the left there is a locked door, which in effect cuts the upstairs in two. Go thru the door to the right and you're in the master king. Walk across the bedroom and thru another door into the "fifth bedroom" (I assume it was originally a master sitting area). That is the only way to access what they're calling the last bedroom. Go thru bedroom and into the "master bath", which can only be accessed by walking thru 5th bedroom. Parts of the house are really nice but a lot of maintenance detail is being overlooked. Tiles have come loose on landing. Part of floor in lower king room feels like it's rotting. Also there's stuff everywhere, owner pkgs in foyer, pantry cabinet full, pressure washer and carpet sweeper on deck,; rake, broken window screen, and trash thrown on yard below. Kitchenware is okay, not fabulous but can make do. Overall, I was unhappy with the house. We would not have chosen this house had we known about the situation with the bedrooms. We way overpaid for a 4-bedroom and some of our party had awkward moments navigating the bedroom situation.

Great place to stay!!
The home was equipped with everything we needed for our weekend stay, including a washer and dryer. The rooms were spacious and we were pleasantly surprised to find bidet’s in most of the bathrooms. The screen and projector in the living room was great to watch movies and games. The spacious deck allowed us all to watch the blood moon and the kitchen has an island large enough for 10 people to gather and socialize.

ASU Graduation
Our family and extended family gathered at Peaceful Manor to celebrate a family member's graduation from Appalachian State University. The house was able to accommodate our large group with plenty of extra room.
