Great home in Little Italy!
My roommates and I stayed here for 2 months while house hunting and Linda and David were the best hosts! They gave us recommendations and were super helpful as we navigated finding a permanent home. The place is very cute and has everything you could need!

nice unit in good part of town some trouble with communication with owners
Overall the property and location was nice but not as clean as would have expected at first and my son and I needed to clean it when moved in. Unit was mainly for my son and I stayed there a bit also. Was some mis communication on utilities cost so would recommend making sure you understand how utilities are charged. Also when moved in there was no lamp on a desk so my son used a lamp of his during stay. the Owners showed unit a few times when we rented it and I think they saw his lamp and then accused us of taking it which I found very unprofessional as it was ours and did not appreciate the accusation.

Living in Little Italy San Diego
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Little Italy. We were a couple of blocks from many fantastic Italian restaurant. We were a 10 min walk to seaport village and a 10 min walk to downtown San Diego. We were a 15 min drive to the airport. We felt completely safe walking throughout San Diego. We enjoyed relaxing in Della familial plaza. The location of our stay was almost perfect.

clean, convenient, well-thought out
This house has everything you would need for a 1 month or more visit and is conveniently situated - in the heart of Little Italy - walking distance to an abundance of restaurants and markets. Easy access to highway 5 to get to any part of the surrounding area quickly. The garage parking spot is a huge plus. Very safe property as well. Cute personal touches throughout. Super comfortable bed. Linda and David were excellent hosts. Very responsive, pleasant, and attentive whenever needed. Highly recommended! Many thanks Linda and David.

Pleasant stay!
The condo was perfect for our three month stay in San Diego! My two friends and me felt comfortable sharing the condo because it had everything that we needed for everyday life. The furnishing is also very modern as showed in the pictures, too. Also the size of the condo for us three was convenient for our long stay. The location was perfect for us as we attended a language school in Downtown which was just a few minutes away on foot. Little Italy is a beautiful spot in Downtown and we felt very safe in that area. The trolley station is pretty close to the condo, so it was easy to go to different places to explore SD. Also a drugstore was around the corner, banks and supermarkets were in walking distances. We also loved the closeness to the port, so we took walks to the Seaport Village very often. Mrs and Mr Fong are very helpful and attentive people, we are glad that we met them. They welcomed us warmly and helped us when we had questions, which we appreciated! All in all, we enjoyed our stay in the condo! It became our home in San Diego, so it enabled us to enjoy our stay in SD even more. We experienced our best time in SD and won't forget it. Hatice T.

Excellent
Rented month of July 2018. It was the best! Location fit our needs perfectly! Condo is in excellent/clean condition. Condo parking spot great! Kitchen facilities more than sufficient. Pots, pans, dishes etc are available. (Kitchen & all rooms very clean) Located right in Little Italy, walking distance to harbor, Seaport Village. Also walking distance to Amtrak for trains, trolly's, buses. All very easy. Owners, Linda/David Fong most gracious, made us feel very comfortable. Keys were available as scheduled. Thank you Linda & David! I hope to rent this location again! Sue D

Great condo in Little Italy
Overall I was very pleased with my stay and recommend it. I enjoyed the location so much I extended my stay for another month. Linda and David Fong felt like family and were very sweet to work with despite some issues with the contract and receiving a refund. They gave me a good deal for both months with Christmas special pricing which I appreciated. Any issues or questions that arose were resolved through text, email and phone. PROS: Tastefully decorated, beautiful hardwood floors, easy to keep clean with supplies left for guest to use, washer/dryer in the bathroom, new appliances including dishwasher, iron/ironing board, walk in closet big enough for luggage and clothes, extra blankets, Heat/AC/Fan hotel room style, Roku TV (no cable; use your own Amazon/Netflix account), cooking supplies in kitchen for those of us who like to cook at home and furniture for all your needs. Other things to note: the building has awesome security measures like a fob for every door, elevator and garage parking to make you feel extra safe. Did I mention your own free parking spot in a garage full of cameras? =) The neighbors here are fantastic and respectful of each other. The area: walkable neighborhood, no homeless people around in Little Italy, tons of restaurants, grocery store/Rite Aid within walking distance and the marina is very close by and a must see especially if you like to jog. CONS: The bed is very uncomfortable and extremely hard to sleep on. I could not get a good night's sleep at all. They need to add a very thick memory/gel foam topper on top of the mattress with an extra plush mattress protector on top of that! The comforter was too thick and heavy and could not be laundered. An allergy down comforter with a duvet would be better so bedding can be washed and to enjoy a better nights sleep. The sheets could be a bit softer and pillows should have protectors on them. There were only small wine glasses to use and no drinking glasses or cups. All the spoons for cooking were wooden so I couldn't flip my eggs or whatever without a rubber spatula. More than 2 electronics on the WiFi slowed down the TV making it hard to watch anything so be careful of that. A keyless entry setup would be better than using a key. Construction and traffic noise outside the windows will wake you up: Need a tower fan/air filter or something by the bed to drown it out. The front door makes noise every time the stair exit door is used. *1 star deduction for the cons*
