About this property

Horsethief Lodge in Panorama Mountain Village offers amazing ski-in ski-out accommodations. This unit is located with access to Toby Chairlift and the Village Gondola to the upper village. Panorama is not only home to an Alpine Village and RK Heli-Ski but also the Grey Wolf Golf Course.

Our ground floor Studio condo unit offers accommodations for four with flexible sleeping arrangements: a queen sized Murphy bed, and a day bed that can be made up as 3 singles, or a King and a single. This beautifully updated condo unit has tile countertops and tile floor throughout.

You can easily ski right to the front door and it is a short 2 min walk to the Toby chair or 3 mins to the Village gondola with access to Mile 1 Quad.

Your reservation includes full access to the Panorama Springs pools, Horsethief local hot tubs and underground parking.

Cozy home

Nice kitchen has all you need to make a healthy delicious lunch/dinner after a fun day skiing. Hot tub is 1 min walking distance. Hocky TV program/Netflix/Blueray movies are available for evening entertaining if you are not going the bars. The only con if we have to pick one is the heater fan is far from whisper, when it's working, you need to raise up your voice. :-p

Perfect location

Great studio apartment with a full kitchen comfortable murphy bed and living room with a fireplace. This unit is steps to the hottub and lift amd an easy ski to the door. We loved our stay!

Unit had everything required for comfortable stay. A few things could make it better....brighter lighting...every dish I took from the pantry unclean (including lipstick on a glass), but overall very nice. Bed and pillows good, location good.

Our family of 4 had a great time. . My daughter especially loved the cabinet bed. The condo is walking distance to the ski hill, convenient store, restaurants and hot tubs. Everything was so convenient, it was great.

True Ski In Ski Out Studio

We had an awesome time staying here! The amenities the hosts offered were very nice. Items that truly made our visit more enjoy and a nice convenience factor. Small space for 4 adults but really great for a short stay! Quite a detailed check-out process but we had no trouble cleaning up after ourselves. Hot tub is so close, definitely a nice location. We would Recommend!

Great place to stay at Panorama

We stayed for our son’s annual 2 day DH mountain bike course. It was our first time in this unit. It was cozy, clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. The Murphy bed was comfortable. Our 6 foot son was a little tall for the day bed but we moved the mattress to the floor for the second night and that was better. It is a short bike ride uphill to the lift or you can ride down and take the gondola up. We enjoyed sitting out on the quiet patio/grass in the evening that overlooks the green space and trail in the complex. It is bit of a walk on the trail or up stairs with your gear and food, so be prepared to make a few trips. All the restaurants were closed, so we were grateful we had brought food up with us. There is a small general store close by as well with a few groceries. We love Panorama, such a great place for families as it is quiet, beautiful and has a variety of fun activities beside mountain biking too. This small one bedroom unit was surprisingly spacious and we would stay again!

About the host

We are a farming family from East Central Alberta with a love for the mountains, skiing and water sports.

Why they chose this property

Our family has been coming to Panorama for about 30 years. We have always loved the area, staying at multiple locations on the resort as well as Radium and Invermere. Our favorite has always been to stay on hill in the lower village because of the ease of access to the lifts. We are very happy to finally get our own place in Panorama and would love to share it with you.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy the convenience of skiing to your door. In addition, you have access to many other activities such as snowmobiling, hiking, golf, white water rafting, and horseback riding. With Lake Windermere only 30 minutes away, you can also enjoy ice fishing and skating on the lake in winter and water sports during the summer.
