Luxurious Historic Villa - 8300ft², 7 bedrooms, 7.5 bath, on 2 acres in Village
1 mile from Pinehurst Resort + Spa + Gold Courses, this 1930s mansion has been renovated into a luxurious haven boasting 5 king suites (7 bedrooms and 9 beds in all) with large common spaces and a chef's kitchen + butlers' pantry.
The house sits back from the road on almost 2 acres. You'll feel like you're in the middle of the country while still being able to walk to town.

Wonderful house helped us create a very special memory!
A large group of us (8 couples as stayover guests, with a few locals joining us for meals and celebration gatherings) stayed in mid-March 2024, a kind of college reunion - and it was an absolutely wonderful location and facility for the event!
I was concerned about the logistics, as we prepared all our own meals - but the extended 2-room kitchen worked well for that, and all the dinnerware and cookware we needed was available. Large rooms for us to spend time together were spacious, comfortable, and elegantly appointed. Everyone reported that their bedrooms were comfortable and spacious (especially the master suite, which was ... well, larger than our first apartment!)
The host and hostess were helpful and very good to work with, and went out of their way to help us with a couple special requests (thank you, guys!).
We really do recommend this house very highly, and are looking forward to coming back ourselves!
The Symphony House is lovely. Our group of seven especially enjoyed the spaciousness -- we could socialize together and also could have quiet relaxation when we wanted. The large dining table is great and perfect for meals and just sitting around and talking. The weather was perfect and we really enjoyed the gazebo. The house is in a quiet wooded area and has everything you need. The large butler's pantry was a bonus! Nathan was great to work with, very responsive. Great house for groups!
Beautiful, large home in a lovely residential neighbourhood in easy walking distance to Pinehurst Resort. Once we arrived, host was very responsive to texts and dropped off a few brand new kitchen items that we requested. I did have to ask for the access code on our arrival day as it had not been communicated but my ask resulted in getting the code immediately.
Layout of house was such that the kitchen areas were a distance from the living room so we did miss being able to have conversation with everyone. Overall a great week.
Symphony House was a beautiful, historic home which provided our family of 14 plenty of space even though the rain kept us inside much of the time. We also were able to host a larger family dinner one night, again with plenty of space for all. Nathan was very attentive to our requests even when we locked ourselves out of the house unknowingly.
Nice quiet location off the Street lots of trees. Very roomy inside plenty of space for 11 people. Short distance from golf and grocery stores. Nathan was easy to work with took care of us well. Would stay again. Thanks
The house was a lovely spot in a lovely community. It's big and easy to separate when you like with areas to all get together. Would definitely book again.
We have a friend group of who loves to play golf! Every spring we meet somewhere to watch The Masters and the guys play golf and the women do all kinds of things. The Pinehurst Spa is right down the road and we took advantage of that one day! This home was perfect for all the couples because each couple had their own bath. It also has lots of open spaces, large rooms and a huge dining room table that allowed for much conversation and laughter!
We all were so intrigued as to what this home would have been like back in the 1930's and who entertained there. Probably hosted lots of grand parties!
There are bookcases filled with books that were interesting. A great little gazebo to sit in and the kitchen is wonderfully stocked with whatever you need! They had plenty of supplies for the bathroom and the kitchen. It is set off the road so you don't hear car noise and you can sit in almost any room and feel like you're in the middle of a forest because greenery was all around us! With it being spring that made it extra special!
Don't miss this gem! The owner was very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. We will book there again!
This house had so much space, and is such a beautiful house! Everyone was in awe when they came in. We had no issues, the kitchen had everything we needed, bathrooms were well-stocked with toilet paper and soap, everything met our expectations. I can't stress enough, this is such a cool property, you won't regret booking.
We stayed here with a small group of family and close friends for our wedding and hosted our ceremony here. The property is an absolute dream! Exquisitely, tastefully designed interior and breathtaking, magical exterior and lawn. Hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, helpful, and courteous. We will be staying here again on our anniversary.
This beautiful, historic home was amazing. The location was very close to the Village, grocery, golf, and eateries. Our host, Nathan, could not have been more helpful or receptive. Quiet and lovely grounds and neighborhood helped make this a perfect home for a large group.
Loved the stay at the property. Simply beautiful! We spent a lot of time in the gazebo. The kitchen was well equipped and fun to use with high end appliances. Beds were comfortable to sleep in. They was a lot interesting decor items that became conversation pieces. Everyone in our group was very happy including the teenagers. Beautiful memories made in a lovely home.
Our group of friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. The spacious estate allowed everyone plenty of room. Our favorite spot was the large dining room with the table for everyone to sit around and spend time together. The kitchen was great and is definitely conducive to cooking food for a large group. All of the bedrooms were very nice and it was convenient that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The living room and game room were also great spots to hang out. The house is very nicely decorated. The host, Nathan, was very responsive before, during, and after our stay. We had absolutely no issues whatsoever! This was a fantastic getaway. We recommend this house and would definitely stay here again should we return to Pinehurst!
The pictures did not do this property justice! Beautiful home. The rooms seemed endless, the airy flow of the high ceilings really added to the feel. We came to Pinehurst to get married! It was so nice to have our wedding party stay together. The down side to this property/host is they watched and monitored us via their security camera our entire stay. They even reached out to us multiple times regarding number of visitors during the day. Like I said, we were in town to get married and everyone else was in town for us, so naturally we had visitors. They have a septic system, unbeknownst to us, which broke the morning of my wedding- leaving us with no running water or toilets to use that entire morning. We had a lovely wedding and I was willing to let the septic debacle be water under the bridge. Then, upon checkout I got a notice from the insurance company I used that they had filed multiple claims regarding my stay. I have never had any negative reviews or experiences when renting and was shocked to see this! They tried to claim almost $5000 in damages. We left that house spotless!! So appalled by this host. I don’t know about you, but I would never have rented this house if I had known that they would watch us all weekend- felt like a violation of privacy! Then on top of that, it seems they are trying to run an insurance scam to maintain their house... it’s a shame because I truly would’ve recommended this property otherwise.
Beautiful place with space to spread out, privacy and convenient to everything Pinehurst! Would love to rent again on our next golf trip. Thanks
Daniel J.
