About this property

Sea's the Way - Seacrest beach’s premier place to stay. EV charging available

This easygoing beach neighborhood is the perfect place to escape for a beach vacation. Spend a day wandering through the shops and sights of Seacrest — you’ll spot everything from gorgeous dune lakes to gourmet restaurants. Then, unwind with a stroll along Seacrest’s sugar-white sand.

A lively community gathers in Seacrest’s Peddler’s Pavilion. Sip coffee on an outdoor patio, stock up on homemade sweet treats, or rent a bicycle and go exploring. Perfect for EV with NEMA 14-50 charging access

The Space

The first floor offers a comfortable living area, dining area that seats six at the table and two at the bar, the kitchen fully equipped with stainless appliances, granite countertops and a gas stove for all your cooking needs and the spacious Master Bedroom with king bed, a large bathroom with double sinks, shower with two rain shower heads and a private deck.

The second floor contains the second bedroom with queen bed and a private bathroom, the third bedroom with queen bed, the fourth bedroom with two bunks, a large full bathroom and a large laundry room.

Large gas BBQ grill for your grilling pleasure. Enjoy your evenings on the front deck.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to the 30A’s Emerald Coast, In addition to the Seacrest’s gorgeous beaches, there’s also a 12,000 square foot swimming pool hidden in the expansive Seacrest neighborhood. One would think that it’s difficult to “hide” a 12,000 square foot pool, and yet, Seacrest somehow pulled it off.

Also, guests have access to a Tram which can take them to beach and back right from the property. Tram stop 7 is just in front of the house.

Seacrest nature trail is just behind the house which takes you through the forest reserve up to peddlers pavilion

Guests will also have access to walking trails inside the Seacrest neighborhood

Interaction with Guests

I am always available if any need arises. My property Manager Lori Suchey is also available and she lives close by. She can be there at moments notice if need be.

Other things to note

Close to everything, and yet somehow quite relaxed, Seacrest is an ideal place to reconnect with friends and family. Bikes and flip-flops are the transportation of choice here, except for the occasional golf cart loaded up with kids, coolers, umbrellas and sand buckets. The “town center” of Seacrest is arguably The Village of South Walton Beach, featuring several cute shops and restaurants, as well as a convenience store.
The bubbling fountains out front are a persistent hit with bare-footed kids and weary parents seeking a momentary diversion.

Known as Peddlers Pavilion, this is a fun spot where kids can splash around, vacationers can rent bikes, and all can enjoy a unique selection of food and shopping experiences – including Peddlers Pub, 30A Bagels & Coffee, The Sweet Peddler candy and ice cream, and more.

Perfect Spring Break
The house and its location were perfect for my son and his friend and I for an amazing spring break. Host was super responsive to questions, easy to work with and very kind. Beds were very comfortable, home was clean and spacious, amenities in the community are always top notch and we will definitely look into renting again!

Great house
This is a great house. Plenty of room for our group and we enjoyed the stay. A few things simple things could have made the stay a little nicer. It seemed that we were the first renter in a while and the front porch and some areas inside were dusty. Larger, softer bath towels would be an improvement, additional linens for the extra pillows would be helpful and more cups. The owner was very responsive and the overall the house was great!

Family vacation
We had a nice stay. Tram stop is right out front of house. Nice walk through neighborhood if not taking the tram. Love the pool as always. Owners even got a slow cooker to arrive in time for us to use it! Nice to be able to prep a meal in the morning & have it ready to eat when returning for lunch or dinner from the pool or beach. Plenty of room for everyone & the grill was a nice addition too.

Great House for a Beach Vacation
This house is very nice and in the quaint (growing) neighborhood of Seacrest Beach. The house had plenty of room for our family of 5 and all the accommodations we needed for our week of vacation. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook at home. The tram stop is right across the street to catch a ride to the pool or beach access, which is very convenient on a hot & humid Florida day. We did run into issues with the community pool (which is very large and gorgeous) in that it was closed for emergency repairs 2 of the days we were there. In talking with personnel at the pool, it sounds like they have major repairs to make but are trying to get through the season - so don't be surprised if this happens again this summer. The house does need some minor maintenance upkeep items taken care of, i.e. lightbulbs out (including the back porch and the back patio string lights) and drains cleaned out (some sinks and showers do not drain while using - but drain slowly after). Also, be sure to check the propane tank for the grill when you arrive to make sure it has gas. We waited until we had burgers ready to go on the grill and discovered the 2 tanks were empty so had to rush to the store to get a replacement (Jeba did reimburse - so thank you!). We also had issues with gnats on the first floor and large ants on the 2nd floor during our stay. Florida has bugs, and this house is next to a nature preserve - so these were a nuisance at most and unsettling to the kids, but we survived. Highly recommend renting bikes - we rented from Peddlers and they delivered and picked up the bikes. This area is great for biking. We enjoyed evening bike rides to check out the nearby shops, restaurants and to cruise through the Seacrest and nearby beach towns. The beach was very crowded - and the Seacrest Access was taken up by rental company chairs and umbrellas 5 rows deep. We ended up renting, but did overhear many families coming down with their gear disappointed that there was not much space to set up their camp. Overall a great house, location, pool and beach. Great place for a vacation.

A good location for a beach vacation
The property is located in a complex that is close to the beach and shopping areas. The house layout worked very well for our group and the kids loved the bunk beds and having a TV in their room. The house is well equipped, although missing a few small things (pizza cutter, tongs, nothing we couldn't overcome). The communication with the owners was top notch, they quickly replied to any questions we had prior to and during our stay. The only issue we encountered with the property is there is several lights that need repaired or replaced, making the kitchen a bit dark after sunset. A few things to know about the area, nothing against the house at all. The pool chairs fill up fast! Plan to get there early if you want seating. The pool is very nice, but the staff working in the pool area is a little over bearing, literally stopping kids from using pool balls that were "too small" (think a softball compared to a volley ball), also making multiple people move water bottles 3-4 inches back from the edge, etc. By all means I appreciate the rules are there for a reason, but by the end of the week it got annoying. The walk to the beach isn't bad, even with our almost 5 years olds. However the beach is VERY crowded due to the amount of beach taken up by private companies. Unless you plan on spending a large amount of money on chair rentals, again plan to be there early to claim some beach area. Again, those issues are not at all related to the house, just fyi when you plan to go.

Sea's the Way
We've rented in Seacrest for 20 years and this was one of our favorite houses. Everything was in excellent condition, well furnished, fun bunk bed room for kids, huge laundry room and extra bathroom on 1st floor was a plus.

Great family house!
This house was perfect for my elderly parents who needed a first floor bedroom and the rest of my family. We loved the location and enjoyed preparing/eating meals in the spacious kitchen and dining room. The owner was wonderful to work with and responded immediately if we had a question. We would definitely stay here again.

Great home in Seacrest
With Covid- planning vacation was difficult. We rented the house just a few weeks beside the trip. The house had a great layout with master on 1st level and 3 others upstairs. All was clean and the manager was quick to respond to any questions we had!! The area the house is in is quiet- not much traffic and shuttle stop was across the street!! We had a wonderful time staying here!!

Seas The Day
Overall the stay was great with good location and amenities. Some amenities needed some updating/ grill outside needs an update, chairs upfront and in back need a good update/cleaning, kitchenware was suitable for our needs, couch needs an update, shower areas need more hooks for towels. Beds and showers throughout were great along with the space throughout. Overall stay was good with some cleaning opportunities that needed attention and resolved. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. Will stay here again if available! Thank you

The positive, great location!
Quiet street in Seacrest Beach North. Near a shuttle stop. Beautiful beaches and pool. Check in was easy. However, the home was not clean. Stained furniture, stained bedding (sheets, comforters, quilts), hair in bathroom drawers, dirty film on tables, bunk ladders, blinds and base boards. Outdoor seating was limited to two as a front porch swing broken prior to our stay. Was not repaired or replaced. We sat on our beach chairs or blankets we brought from home. Outdoor shower broken. We reported. Handy man was supposed to come and fix but did not. We have requested a refund in the cleaning fee but have not heard back. I do not like leaving a less than positive review. However, I appreciate honest reviews when selecting rentals through VRBO.

Great house, location and owner
My family enjoyed our stay very much. The house is lovely and located in a community with great amenities. We loved cooking in the well appointed kitchen. The owner was available and promptly answered any questions we had during our stay. We would recommend this home for anyone looking to stay in Seacrest. Love the beaches here! We would definently book another trip at this property again.

Spacious House, Great Location but ...
The house is spacious and in a great location. Check in, via VRBO was simple. Couple minor things: The cleaning service left 3 sets of sheets in the washer, which we did not discover until 4 days into the vacation. We rung out the sheets (the spin cycle had stopped) and split the sheets into 2 loads. The cleaning service left an envelope asking for tips - which I felt was inappropriate considering the amount of the cleaning fee paid with the rental. I notified the owner that one of the showers had mold - initially thought this was due to lack of cleaning. The cute white front porch swing was broken and taken away on Saturday just as we were unloading the cars. Someone propped it up against the shed a few days later but it was never hung - it would have been nice to enjoy during our beach vacation. The major issue was halfway into the vacation the upstairs master bath began to leak water into the first floor master bedroom closet - including dripping thru the closet light fixture. The leak resulted in buckets needing to be placed in the closet and we moved our things out of the closet - we did not want to turn on the light when water had been leaking thru the fixture. We also did not use that bathroom for the remainder of the week because we were concerned about additional damage to the house. It appeared to be a shower pan issue which as a homeowner I appreciate is not an inexpensive repair. We notified the owner immediately and while he apologized for the inconvenience, the problem was not fixed during our visit. I understand that the major repair could not be completed in 24-48 hours however upon further review the water issue did not appear to be a new problem. The first floor closet ceiling had multiple water rings and the shower, which I referenced earlier as having mold around the floor, was the same shower which leaked. There was a clear silicone around the base of the leaky shower - looks liked efforts to seal the shower previously. Behind the clear silicone seal was the mold. I use VRBO a few time a year and also like to provide honest, accurate feedback. My main issue with the low rating here is the fact that the leak was known. I reached out to Home Away and notified them of the water issue and they issued a case #. To date, I have not heard back from Home Away and or the Owner. Great Location - Just need the shower repaired.

Fun family vacation spot
Booking was quite easy. The property is located in a neighborhood that has paver laid streets and similar house styles. It it a beautiful community. Trams are readily available to take you around the neighborhood. There are shops and small restaurants close by. Seacrest is about 10 miles from Panama City beach which has all types of shopping and The Pier. The house itself is well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the master bathroom is great. The double rain head shower is very relaxing. The washer and dryer are conveniently located on the second floor between the bedrooms and bathroom. There was nothing in the house that I would change. Our large party of 8 had plenty of room and a most excellent time! We would love to return in the future.

June 2018 Family Vacationers
We were happy with the booking experience. Everything was organized and went as expected. When we arrived, at first glance the house was very nice and the layout was just as we expected. After about 30 minutes of being there we realized that the bottom of all our feet were black! It is obvious that the floor had only been swept and cannot have been mopped or cleaned in quite a while. In reading the comment book we found in the house, we saw that we are not the first to comment on this. The first day we were there we took the trolley to the beach. All we had to do was make a phone call and the trolley was there within about 15 min. We were very surprised when we saw the "deeded beach". Most of the beach was taken up by the rental chairs. We also saw that we were not allowed to take an awning to set up on the beach and that we could not take a rolling cooler. Then it started raining and we found out that the trolleys would not pick you up if it is raining, so we had to walk all the way back in the rain, carrying all our things. We decided that we would rather find a public beach access location than to deal with all the rules at the Seacrest deeded beach. We were able to find a wonderful location about a 5 minute drive away. There were several things in the house that either didn't work (the ice dispenser, the grill, the range hood) or need to be updated (not a single sharp knife in the kitchen). As I said before, the house is nice enough, it just needs a little TLC.
