This timeshare condo is located within the Marriott Vacation Club’s Waiohai Beach Club resort on the lovely south shore of Hawaii’s Garden Isle, Kaua’i. This is a spectacular beachfront resort with lush grounds and lovely outdoor pools. All condos (“villas” in Marriott parlance) are identically laid out and furnished, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living area including a sitting area / dining area / full kitchen, and a balcony or patio. The unit being rented is an “island view” unit with confirmed week reservations for Mar 15 - 22, 2025 and Mar 22 - 29, 2025. Check-in dates are Saturdays for the seven day stays. The specific villa is assigned by Marriott Vacation Club at the time of check-in.
The Waiohai Beach Club’s grounds are beautifully landscaped and include three pools (including quiet and children’s pools), three spas, and water features including two water falls. The on-property Honu Bar and Grill is a favorite spot for light meals, and several restaurants are within easy walking distance. In addition to the full kitchen, gas grills are available for those preferring to prepare their own meals. Activities are offered by Vacation Club staff daily.
The golden sand crescent beach fronting the property leads to some of the island’s best snorkeling and adjoins Poipu Beach. Poipu Beach includes a protected life-guarded children’s area. Wintertime sunsets can be spectacular from the property. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars to watch humpback whales that frequent the south shore through the winter months.
Many guests enjoy spending their entire vacation on-property but the Waiohai’s Poipu Beach location is also ideal for adventures around the island. The Poipu area includes two National Tropical Botanic Gardens (Allerton and McBryde), renowned PGA golf courses, Spouting Horn, and is the launch point for adventures such as ocean kayaking, scuba / snuba, horseback riding and zip-lining. Venture to the west and take in the largest coffee farm in the United States, the beautiful red walls of Waimea Canyon (termed the Grand Canyon of the Pacific), and a glimpse of the spectacular rugged cliffs of the Na’Pali Coast from Koke’e State Park. Loop to the north to take in the rugged winter surf of Hanale’i and acrobatic flights of tropical birds at Kiluae’a Lighthouse and National Wildlife Refuge. The potential adventures on the island are diverse and too numerous to capture in a few words, but the owner will be happy to brainstorm options to suit a renter’s interests.
