Booking now for long leisurely weekends at our comfortable cottage. Only blocks to all the downtown activities and amenities. Have fun exploring this beautiful area where there is so much to do. Beaches, boating, golf, hiking, fine dining, shopping.. Coeur d' Alene is waiting to welcome you.

Welcome, the cottage is conveniently located in the eclectic neighborhood of Midtown.
3rd Street is a one way thoroughfare that heads straight to the heart of downtown and Lake Coeur d Alene. It's an easy walk or bike to the waterfront and our amazing McEuen Park and only blocks to our vibrant downtown and North Idaho College. Across the street is our hometown Safeway grocery store and many other interesting local shops to browse for treasures. Antique shops, vintage thrift stores, clothing boutiques, excellent restaurants, several great pubs line 4th street.

Our 800 sq. ft. cottage is newly painted, carpeted and tastefully furnished. The master bedroom has an excellent high quality king size bed covered with luxurious sheets, comforter, and quilt. Pillows are top grade too. The second bedroom has a queen sleeper with premium bedding. When not used for your visitors this room doubles as an office or study.
In the pretty warmly lit kitchen we provide everything needed for cooking but the groceries. Basic condiments, coffee and tea are available for guests. The electric stove and refrigerator are newer clean appliances. There is no dishwasher. The kitchen will meet all your needs whether preparing light snacks or gourmet meals.

The bathroom is small but very functional. We provide our guests with spa products, hair dryer, luxurious towels and a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience.
The living room flat screen TV uses Roku to stream Netfix, Amazon, Hulu & more at no extra charge. Hi-speed internet is available.
We have taken extra precautions to ensure that the home is as clean and germ free as possible. A spray bottle of disinfectant by the kitchen sink is for your use.
The property is treed and leafy in the summer, the pretty backyard is perfect for a backyard BBQ. We provide a grill and patio furniture for our guests.

Parking is in the driveway alongside the home. It has a newly installed metal carport with RV clearance. Street side parking is permissible.
A storage shed is available for storing bikes, athletic equipment or personal belongings.
When you are here vacationing, this will be your place; a home away from home.

Cozy Cottage
Nice property in walking distance of downtown CDA. Grocery store conveniently located across the street. Master bedroom bed is large and very comfortable. The cottage was clean, cozy and priced right. Highly recommend!

Charming Cottage
We stayed here during a church festival and this home was just perfect for us. Roslynne was very responsive to all messages. The cottage is equipped with everything you need - cleaning products, kitchen utensils, soap, etc. The mattress in the master bedroom is very comfortable.

Great hosts ! Very hands on and fixed things if they were not working properly. Dog loved The yard ! Liked that it was close to Safeway , but it does look at the back of the Safeway building loading dock plan to spend your time in the backyard. Only reason I gave a 4 ! Hosts are wonderful and the back yard is beautiful:)

Great location in mid-town. Cute neighborhood with grocery, restaurants, antique stores and more. Close enough to walk to downtown as well. Cottage is the perfect size for two and very dog friendly. Bed and couch are amazingly comfortable. Rosalyne and Frank were great hosts!

These hosts know how to please! They have the house set up for folks so well, and any little issue was remedied promptly. Such nice people. I wasn't certain it would be walkable to town, but it surely was and we did multiple times, so the location is good.

House is pretty much as described. Lovely back yard for our little dog to run around in. Street was a bit noisy but that is the trade off for being so close to town. Bedroom in back of house so no sleeping issues. Roslynn was very responsive to questions, check in was a breeze. Would definitely recommend this home.

Midtown Bungalow!!
The fun, bright, 2 bedroom bungalow is very nice, spacious and well maintained as well as the location is great! The house has a nice backyard with a new grill, an outdoor table with umbrella for shelter from the Sun if you desire, and a nice protective carport for your vehicle. The Bungalow also has all the necessary amenities to make a house a home and is very comfy and cozy! Roslynne and Frank provide amazing hospitality, and are very friendly and helpful! I definitely recommend a stay at the property as I know I will be back soon! Brandan Wagner

Great Midtown Location
Sweet little bungalow conveniently located in midtown area. All short walking distance to eclectic Vintage Shops, thrift stores, restaurants and pubs. Salons, coffee shops,etc. Less than a mile walk to downtown Cd’A, the Lake, McEuen Park and Tubbs Hill. Great fenced in yard. My pup loved it. Homeowners were very responsive to questions and we were treated well! Felt very safe. Actually extended our stay another 6 weeks as our remodel was slow as expected!!!

Extended Weekend Getaway
For our small family and (2) faminals…. we enjoyed this property. The location was ideal for walking to McEuen Park and hiking Tubbs Hill. Also enjoyed the beach and pontoon boat rentals on the lake. The neighborhood was not what we expected, with some of the houses pretty run down and one even condemned just a few block away. Just keep in mind when renting this small, affordable, cute and clean house. Home owners were in communication during our stay and seemed to be available if there was anything we needed. Thank you for our relaxing getaway.

Adorable and convenient bungalow

We completely enjoyed our stay in Couer d' Alene! What a great outdoor city with so much to do and see! We took advantage of all it had to offer. The home is located in the new and developing mid-town area which has a lot of shops, restaurants, etc... The house is right behind a Safeway. Super convenient to downtown as well. If I might make two suggestions: a new BBQ (this one flares and is hard to light) and a Keurig coffee maker. Other than these two, small things, everything was perfect! Washer and dryer in the home was also a very nice bonus!

My husband and I are transplants from Philadelphia. We traveled all over the western states looking for a new home. We happened upon Coeur d'alene and were instantly enchanted by the beauty of the lake and mountains.The town was much smaller then, only one stoplight downtown. But, as it has grown steadily into a tourist resort area it has only gotten better.
We love Coeur d'Alene where we have lived in the same home for 36 years. We purchased this sweet cottage as a vacation rental so we could share with our guests our fabulous town and provide a comfortable home to relax and kick back in.
For many years we ran a culinary vacation school in Baja, Mexico. We hosted guests from all over the world, who were interested in learning to cook authentic Mexican cuisine. I am a chef, caterer, and cooking teacher. My husband is a local beekeeper and apitherapist. ( bee products for good health) We both love to cook, travel to wherever, and enjoy all the seasons and outdoor activities that the Coeur d Alene area has to offer.
It is our sincere desire to provide our guests with accommodations that will make your vacation to our hometown memorable.
Just a note to the wonderful guests we have hosted over the years. Every single one of you have been amazing... so caring of the house, thoughtful pet owners, and such interesting people we have enjoyed meeting. Thank you.
