This home can be rented as the entire 4 BR/2 BA home or as two separate 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartments. This listing is dedicated to the "lower" apartment. See our other listings for the "upper" apartment as well as the entire house.

ABOUT THE HOME

When we purchased this home in 2017 it was completely updated with fresh paint, new flooring, new carpeting, and new updated bathrooms.

Additionally, we furnished the home with all new furniture, bedding, linens, TVs, and the kitchen equipped with new dishes, glassware, cookware, small appliances.

The downstairs apartment has its own separate exterior door for privacy and security. Once inside you’ll find two bedrooms and one full bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a king-sized bed; the other bedroom has two twin sized beds.

Your group will enjoy relaxing and hanging out in the spacious "Liberty University" themed family room (or "rec room") downstairs which is equipped with a 55" HD flat-screen TV and Blu-Ray DVD player and video library.

NOTE: The TV is equipped with Roku live TV channels and streaming capabilities. You can either sign into your own premium streaming services using the apps on the TV (such as Netflix, Hulu or Prime Video) or stream content from your mobile devices. (Cable TV channels are not provided.)

A full-sized washer & dryer are located on the downstairs level.

On the ground level in the shade of the upper deck is an old-fashioned porch swing where you can relax in the quiet atmosphere of this pastoral setting.

NOTE: The house does not have an outdoor grill.

There is off-street parking for 2 vehicles.

NOTE: The downstairs apartment does not have access to the kitchen or the screened porch which are located upstairs. However there is a small refrigerator and coffee maker in the downstairs apartment and a nice patio on the ground level out back with a nice old-fashioned porch swing.

YOUR HEALTH IS OUR CONCERN

Our home is thoroughly cleaned after each guest. Our housekeeping service uses CDC approved antibacterial cleansing agents and focuses on frequently touched surfaces such as tables, doorknobs, deadbolts, remote controls, light switches, countertops, handles, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc.

Additionally our home has been equipped with a REME HALO® whole home in-duct air purifier, which according to the manufacturer "is the next generation of indoor air quality (IAQ) technology and capable of purifying every cubic inch of air that your central air conditioning system reaches. Thoroughly tested on airborne and surface bacteria & viruses, such as MRSA, e-coli, and Norwalk, to name a few."

IMPORTANT NOTE: Because our listing is displayed/handled differently on various sites the quote or charges for your booking may not include our $59 Damage Waiver fee (which is collected on every booking in lieu of a security deposit for damage protection purposes). HOUSE RULES

We would welcome your reservation if:

•You are over the age of 25 years & are willing to provide a copy of your valid ID
•You are willing to sign a copy of our rental agreement which will be emailed to you after your booking is confirmed
•You are not a smoker
•You do not want to bring a pet
•Your party does not consist of more than 4 people


Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellation Fee (charged for every cancellation): $100.00 + tax
- Up to 60 days before arrival, guest receives 100% (less the taxable cancellation fee);
- Up to 30 days before arrival, guest receives 50% (less the taxable cancellation fee);
- No refunds within 30 days.
