From the adorable paintings on the entrance wall, depicting Asheville's beautiful attractions, to walking into our room that reflected a mountain modern appeal, with beautiful ambient lighting. The studio living area and bathroom was quite spacious, and had a relaxing look and feel. The kitchen provided all the necessary amenities. Great stay

You do have someone living above you and I would bring an electric stove top because there’s only a microwave and a toaster oven but other than that it was a wonderful place and we had the privacy that we needed and the host were great.

Good Location

Located just minutes from downtown Asheville and Biltmore as well. Quiet neighborhood that felt safe. The apartment is located on the ground floor of the host’s home, so bringing a set of ear plugs or some kind of white noise is a good idea. Communication with the host was initially inconsistent but improved during my stay.

1st time user of VRBO

I discovered a few things about pictures....they don't always reveal the entire story about a property. Only after booking and paying did I truly get more details about the property location (tight narrow streets). The space was damp and musty smelling and on a concrete floor space. I can't fault the owner for his desire for income, but he might want to address that feature for future occupants. He seemed like a kind enough person to do so.

Mountain Beauty and Breweries

I stayed here for two weeks and had a terrific time. Asheville is a truly beautiful area to be in if you like mountain views. If you want to check out some of Asheville's many, many breweries, this is a great location. You are less than 1.5 miles away from all of the South Slope breweries in one direction and from a couple of others in the opposite direction. The hosts were very friendly and made sure I had anything I needed.

Cozy, comfortable, great escape!

We spent two nights in this fully contained, private, comfortable, convenient home apartment. Communications were prompt, directions/codes/passwords easily found/ accessed. Relaxing, homey artistic space with easy access to events and activities in Asheville, NC.

Asheville Quiet Hills

The owners are very responsive and check in was painless. The room, at ground level below owners home, is very spacious, with a foam mattress, couch with throw, smart television, comfortable bathroom, and a decent kithenette. The room has a controllable HVAC system. The entire floor is polished concrete with some throw rugs. Luckily I had brought slippers which helped. There is a carport allocated to park your vehicle immediately outside door. The road up to property is a little tight so a vehicle like a full size extended bed truck would be challenging to traverse area. The property is in a very quiet community. I do have to say I really believe the owners, whom live upstairs, try to be quiet but I heard almost every footstep which I believe is due to solid surface flooring.

Great location in Asheville

Great location and easy stay. Home was very clean except it was weird to find a used bar of soap in the shower and a couple stray hairs. Overall it wasn’t a huge issue by any means. Would be great to have a more functional TV. Could not really get the one there to load anything.

Best VRBO in Asheville!!!

This is our second time staying in Doug and Ann's VRBO and we absolutely LOVE it. It is perfectly located to all things Asheville, and is so clean and nice, and in a great neighborhood. AMAZING Prperty!

This Charming studio apartment hosted by Doug and Ann is amazing. Located in a beautiful neighborhood everything is extremely convenient. I stayed by myself for almost a month here everything was within walking distance for me or just a Lyft ride away. The studio had everything I needed to enjoy my visit. Doug and Ann are very accommodating and respond to questions very quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful property and look forward to returning to Asheville again in the future!
