Terrific Stay

The owners were very responsive, which was appreciated. The house itself had a terrific setup, had tons of space, and was close enough to everything that we didn't have to drive at all during our stay. And the playroom was a terrific place for the kids to play and explore!

Great weekend

The hosts were wonderful, helpful with any questions we had, great communication. The house was great for our family, we all were either in the living room/kitchen or out in the back yard or on the deck. We did have a ping pong competition which I’m pretty sure I won. Wonderful winter getaway

This house is perfect for a friends/family group including adults and children--lots of space, very well laid-out and well-equipped. The kids enjoyed the toys and game room and the adults loved the media room. We would definitely come again.

Great location with lots of space.

We had a great stay at this home. There is plenty of space for whoever you bring. The house is very clean with lots to offer. We did not receive any check-in information which was a bummer. Thank goodness for a very friendly neighbor who had contact information because the contact number in the listing doesn’t work.

Amazing home and location

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and had a great time. Could not have asked for anything better. Such a wonderful home with lots to do. Plenty of room for 8 of us. Loved the movie room, game room, fire pit and spa. Cant wait to book again in the summer months.

Finnish for thank you?

We wanted to say kiitos! We had a marvelous stay during the winter carnival opening weekend! As always the fireworks, the parade, and the I've sculptures were incredible. Best of all was the fact we never had to drive or find parking. We were within walking distance of everything we wished to do. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us, and again kiitos!!

Perfect homebase in McCall

We loved the property! The rooms and layout may it easy to house our group of 10 ladies for the weekend without us all stepping on each other. The house itself had everything to entertain the crew while we were home and the hot tub was a huge hit. The location could not have been better, walking distance to EVERY WHERE. We were so happy with our stay! Our only suggestion would be to upgrade the extra betting for the futons - there weren't any duvets, there weren't enough sheets/pillow cases for the number of futons (3) and the pillows were very old. For the amount of extra adult we had it just left a few in a less then ideal sleeping arrangment.

Family reunion thumbs-up!

What a terrific location--easy walk to lake attractions, downtown shops, restaurants and super market. Our 3-generation family reunion found this house perfect for all ages. Young children played in spacious back yard, or congregated in gathering spaces in upper floor or basement without disturbing the others. Teen aged family members loved the TV/movie/media room. Adults could relax, read, catch a nap, or visit easily in the spacious main floor kitchen and great room. The kitchen was well furnished and easily accommodated group meals. The beds were comfortable, and the porch swing in front was a plus. We recommend this house for any extended family gathering.

Beautiful and close to everything

There were eight of us during our stay five of which were children. Plenty of things to do and super close to everything. The Hot tub was great surrounded by snow. Plenty of shops within walking distance to get snow gear. The house itself was warm and cozy and have plenty of room for everyone. Great directions via the inbox on VRBO however I never saw a house manual. We will definitely be back to try summer!

We have been with VRBO as a host since 2008 in Oregon and now have a few properties in McCall and Boise, Idaho. In 2017, we bought a historic home on Park St downtown in McCall and lovingly remodeled, renovated and built out the basement. We hope you will love it as much as we do.
Our other McCall properties were purchased in 2015 and 2016. We loved improving the properties and decorating to make them comfortable as weekend getaways or weeklong retreats. All have hot tubs and comforts that make us long to be in McCall!

Why they chose this property

The Historic Finlandia House took some vision to buy. We are very pleased with the outcome after extensive restoration and construction. We loved coming up with the decorations as well and hope you love it too!
