About this property

This 4 bedroom house has just completed a major renovation ... brand new kitchen, flooring, furniture, paint and more. Both bathrooms were renovated in 2022. This house is virtually brand new on the inside. Check out the new pictures. Beyond the renovation, this house is in the ideal location. This enormous house features 1600 sf of living space and is just steps from the beach, literally 100 yards from the sand. This warm and inviting house has two private decks to enjoy the fresh ocean air. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 have queen size beds and the fourth has a pair of twin beds. We are adding bunk beds (twin over twin) in the upstairs bedroom so the house now sleeps 10 comfortably. There is a large living and dining room and two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. There is off-street parking for two cars and a washer and dryer in the house. There is a gas and a charcoal grill for your use as well. Everything you need and right in the heart of Hampton Beach. You can park your car in the driveway and be within steps of everything Hampton has to offer ... the beach, the Casino, Bernies, the Sea Shell Concert Stage, everything.

All furniture is brand new, bed frames, dressers, couches, dining room table, etc. There is free wifi and a TV with basic cable stations.

This house sits on the middle of a property with two other houses, one in front and one in back.. The driveway is shared with the house in front and has two dedicated spaces for this house. We do not include sheets or towels. There are comforters and pillows for you to use. We also do not have housekeeping services. We expect our renters to respect our house and leave it as they found it. This is not a hotel. When you leave, we expect our renters to sweep the floors and vacuum out the sand. Please leave the refrigerator empty and clean and wipe down the countertops and bathrooms. If you are looking for 5 cleaning star services, please look elsewhere. This is a summer house that we enjoy at the beach and rent out to other families to enjoy as well. The decks and grill provide great outdoor space, so if you are looking for a great location, a huge house and are respectful people who will care for our house, we would love to have you stay and enjoy Hampton Beach.

Great location and property

We booked this location for a week long stay at hampton and we had no complaints. The house is in a great location and very spacious! Parking and check in was easy, and the house is very spacious. When we arrived everything was clean and ready for moving in, and throughout our week there it felt like we were at home. We are absolutely going to look into using this property again for future vacations!

Wonderful beach getaway

My friends and I loved our stay at this house! Great communication from the hosts, perfect walking distance from the strip, and spacious rooms! The hosts were very clear about cleaning policy and what to bring for the trip. Perfect house if you don’t mind cleaning up after check out and packing extra linens!

Location and size

Need a bigger house this year with grandkids growing up, found this 4 bed, 2 bath. Size and space were great and location couldn’t be beat. House was clean and all the essentials were there. Furniture and beds all appeared to be new and were comfortable. Couple of issues were the outside porches in need of repair, especially the steps leading up to the front door. Definitely not to code. We never used the deck off the master as it didn’t look safe. Our week had temps in the 90’s and the upstairs temp was like a sauna. Even with fans running, it was brutal. Really need an air conditioner upstairs. I agree with a previous review about the master being to bright, even with the blinds drawn. We were awake at dawn every day. Owner texted me and told us we had to vacate house for 4 hours (11:30-3:30) on Wednesday afternoon for an inspection. Wednesday was the only rainy day that week, so what do 3 kids and 5 adults do at the beach on a rainy day? Owner refunded $50 of our $4100 payment. I understand you don’t always get choices with inspections, but it really was frustrating.

Fantastic Family Hampton Beach Vaca

My husband and I have always wanted to have extended family for a vacation at Hampton Beach. Your VRBO rental was perfect. It's steps away from the boardwalk and beach. The rental is bright and cheery and super clean. Would love to rent again!!!

Hampton Beach Stay

Location is very close to beach which was great but the house definitely needs some TLC. Decks are quite hazardous and in desperate need of repair. Needed air conditioning part of the week and the one small portable unit really didn’t cut it. Also wish a cleaning service was included since the house was a bit dirty when we arrived. Did enjoy Hampton beach though and the boardwalk.

Trust your gut

I’m so glad I read between the lines of the reviews. The host is honest that it’s not a 5 star place and cleaning is up to the guest. We booked with the intent that we would clean when we got there. We did that and enjoyed our stay. The location and the cost were amazing. Steps to the beach! Downsides were parking. Shared driveway but big enough to park just not easy to load your car or have all passengers get in at once but can make do. Master bedroom was very bright with neighbors lights. Hung towels over the windows to help. Couches are peeling but tossed blankets over them so we could hang out and watch tv. Kitchen is small but we had excellent breakfasts and coffee. The deck was a great space to hang out. Could hear the bands at the local bars. We would book again!

Another great Seafood Festival weekend with friends!!

House is super convenient to festival and the beach. Seriously less than a minute walk. Didn’t have to move our cars all weekend. Relaxed on the deck in the evening and shared many laughs among friends. Can’t wait til next year!!

John & Kate are very nice hosts. The place wasn’t really clean so we had to clean it and John was apologetic about that . The location and the size of the house is perfect! It does need some fixing of the porch stairs absolutely and some carpentry work inside but all in all it was fun . We will definitely be back to rent both houses in the fall!

Good property but major structural issues

So this was the second property of theirs that I stayed on. After being super pleased with the last one, I was kind of disappointed with this property. The overall layout of the house was amazing…two big, remodeled full baths, which honestly is hard to come by in hampton. The living room and dining area was a good size, as well as the bedrooms (especially the master bedroom). The decks were a nice touch, too. The issues came with mainly the floors. The one upstairs bedroom had numerous soft spots in the floor, and it almost looked like someone had fallen through it because there was a pretty serious patch job in the ceiling of the bedroom beneath it. There was a really bad soft spot just outside of the upstairs bathroom as well (my foot sank easily an inch). Every time I accidentally stepped on it I was scared I was going to break the floor. The railing going down the stairs was also extremely wobbly…to the point I had to make sure the kids didn’t use it because I didn’t want them to fall. The kitchen could use an update. The hood of the stove was slanted and wasn’t even directly above it. Also, the only outlets were in the far back corner of the counter, which is hard to reach for anyone who is short. The only other major complaint were the couches…the leather was peeling, so any time that you sat on the couch, you had black speckles all over your legs and clothes when you stood up. Those pieces tracked through the house.

Excellent location and great price

We stayed for 2 nights and were overall happy with our stay. The house is definitely in need of TLC & was not super clean but we expected this based on the price and description. They provide all cleaning supplies so it did not take much to wipe things down once we arrived. The price of this rental was low for the excellent location. It is so close to the beach and boulevard. The parking is very tight so small vehicles are best. If you're not looking for a 5 star pristine and new rental and just wanna be close to the beach with plenty of space inside, this is your place.

Location the best!

Great location. The checkin process was really easy, no keys needed. Parking is tight but fit 2 cars. Plenty of space. The house definitely needs some work; bathrooms were new. But there’s some flooring on the second floor I would have gone through the floor if the carpet wasn’t there. Kitchen had everything you could need. There was even laundry detergent for the washer and dryer. The sinks are slow to drain, had to use a fork to keep the 1st floor bathroom sink drain open. Overall, it was great was teens and adults.
