This house is a one story, two bedroom, one bathroom house with a queen and single bed in one room and a queen bed and single bed in the second room. Full kitchen, screened porch, fireplace, walking distance to Egg Harbor marina, shops, restaurants and galleries. All linens, towels, blankets, pillows, etc. are provided. There's a great market located walking distance from the house. Egg Harbor is a great central location for day trips to the many sights and activities on the Door County Peninsula.

Great place in an excellent location

My family had an excellent time staying here. The house was spacious and clean. The property is surrounded by trees so it feels very private even though you can walk into town within minutes. Very convenient. Also, there’s a great view of the harbor.

Lovely and Simple -- Just what we wanted

The cottage was sweet and simple. Don't stay here if you need some of the extras because the charm is the simplicity. I wish the view of the water had been just a tad more -- but the walk to the marina for sunset was superb and easy. We will totally return.

Lovely Little Cabin

We were delighted to find this gem. The front porch is perfect for morning coffee and an evening meal of pizza. Older house but great water pressure, and comfy beds. Plenty of room for a vacation with adult children. Would definitely stay here again!

Quaint cottage in great location!

We had a great time in this well-maintained quaint cottage in Egg Harbor! Incredible location, very easy walk to everything with easy parking out front. I was very impressed with how spacious it was, clean, and the beautiful porch with a water view. Loved our stay!

Door County Girls Weekend

Very cute, spacious home with great screened porch! Lack of essential updates (no reachable outlet in the bathroom, proper electrical wiring, and more comfortable seating) distracted from the otherwise great housing. Location was excellent!

Great Location

Nice clean cottage. Very short walk to harbor, restaurants and shops. Short drive to trolly. Short drive to Baileys Harbor and Fish Creek. Great wineries and golf nearby. We like Egg Harbor better than Fish Creek. Less crowded.

First VRBO in Egg Harbor

The property was not easy to find. Our GPS sent us in two different directions and neither worked. We even asked two passers-by if they could help us and they couldn’t. As we were driving up the road to start looking again , I happened to notice a small driveway on my left with three numbers on a post and one of them was our address. We turned into that drive and ours was the last house at the end of that drive. The interior is dated and the fixtures are old but everything works and the house is fresh and comfortable. There was a beautiful breeze blowing off the bay and it was nice sitting out in the screened-in porch but we preferred the yard with the dog. The location of the house was great for what we wanted to do in Door County. We will certainly be interested in staying here again. Thanks for this opportunity.

Fun in Egg Harbor

Had a wonderful time in Egg Harbor. The property was spacious and clean. Walking distance to Main Street Shops and many other places. Could of used more toilet paper with three adults. Screened in porch was enjoyable.

Great Getaway

Centrally located and convenient location. Clean and tidy Short walking distance to Restaurants, shops and marina. The house was roomy and is comfortable for small group. Bathroom could use more shelving/ storage; and only 1 outlet. Overall, place was very nice and served its purpose. We would definitely go back and stay again! The hosts were accommodating and helpful.

A Little Dated but Clean, Appealing and Comfortable

We had an excellent week at the house. Single window air conditioner effectively cooled the primary room during some hot days....Cooling breezes at night were welcomed through the bedroom windows. We would stay again.

Vintage Summer Cottage

Great Egg Harbor Value for visiting young grandchildren and their dad. Kids loved the shared, sloping, grassy yard surrounding the cottages. Walking/stroller distance to everything in EH, including family staying in other EH locations. Screen porch was perfect for a gathering of young cousins and Grandma and Grandpa’s puppy. Lot’s of good memories created during that week!

Great Base to Explore Door County

Emily is a great host and her property is centrally located in Door County for easy trips to all that it has to offer. It is literally steps away from great Egg Harbor restaurants, bars, and coffee shops so the beginning and end of each day can be book ended with great coffee and breakfast and dinnner and drinks. My son and I had plenty of room in the house, it was very clean, and everything worked well. Thanks for the great stay Emily! I’ll be competing to book this property again when it return to Door County!

I was born and raised in Egg Harbor, Door County, Wisconsin. I went to grade school in Egg Harbor (the current location of the Egg Harbor Fire Dept.) and attended junior high and high school at Gibraltar H.S. in Fish Creek, 5 minutes north of Egg Harbor. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and have been involved in a family business my entire life--the Alpine Resort and Golf Course in Egg Harbor. After 100 years of ownership, we have sold the business to a new owner. My family continues to rent our eight vacation houses in Egg Harbor seasonally. I have two adult sons and I live in Sturgeon Bay, about 20 minutes south of Egg Harbor. Door County has been a great place to grow up and live and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to remain here on this beautiful peninsula. I love to swim and boat and fish in the summer. And I enjoy skiing and ice fishing in the winter.

Why they chose this property

This house is located on a property with a nice lawn area and is available for rental only from May 1 through late October. It is lovingly cared for and maintained and has beautiful woodwork and a granite fireplace. The house was built by my family and has always been in the family. My family also built two more houses like this one close by with the same floor plan. I love the spacious living area and dining room of the house. And it's location on Whitecliff Road is really great. Whitecliff Road is a quiet road that runs north along the shoreline from Egg Harbor to Juddville. It has private summer homes with lots of access to the water.

What makes this property unique

I love the airy living room and fireplace. And the screened porch facing the marina is wonderful on a warm summer day. If it gets cold in the evening, the fireplace provides great warmth. And it's easy to take a quiet walk along Whitecliff Road, walk out to the shoreline, and enjoy the view.

Many of our guests stay five to seven nights or longer. We are open to longer term stays. If you are interested in an extended stay, please contact us.
