Little bit of country paradise .....
This is our third holiday in this beautiful region of France and we enjoy it more with each visit . We were based thirty minutes from Cherbourg in a small village near Surtainville . Our host Regine lives next door from the gite and is available should you need anything .The gite is superbly equipped and well located for visiting the numerous amazing beaches this region has to offer . Regine welcomed us into her home and kindly gave us a superb box of salad and vegetables during our stay which she grew herself . If you want a relaxing get away from it all break in a stunning house in the country then this may be for you . If visiting you may need to swot up on your French as not a lot of English is spoken here which only added to our fun ! Thanks Regine for welcoming us . A bientot Liz & Dan .

Super gîte on a quiet rural location near the sea
This house is exactly what we wanted. A perfect place for a couple or a couple with 2 small children. The gîte was the immaculately clean upon our arrival and was exceptionally quiet for sleeping. The hosts, Régine and Bernard are very special people. We appreciated the beautiful flowers gracing our table upon arrival. Moreover, we were treated to a continuous supply of excellent vegetables directly from their garden during our one-month stay. The heirloom tomatoes were exceptional. I should also mention the eggs Bernard regularly gave us from his own henhouse. It’s just amazing what eggs taste like when the chickens are allowed to eat what the chickens want to eat. American industrial agriculture please note! The whole experience here was just superb. We hope to return — often.

Maison agréable et reposante !
Nous sommes venus en famille avec 2 jeunes enfants chez Régine qui avait pris soin de nous préparer le matériel adapté (lit parapluie, chaise haute, petit bureau, jeux...). La maison est idéale pour découvrir la région, nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Merci aussi pour les légumes du jardin !

Nous avons grandement apprécié le calme et la fraîcheur de ce gîte spacieux.M.et Mme Le Blond sont des hôtes très aimables . De belles plages immenses et des randonnées magnifiques sont accessibles à moins de 15 minutes en voiture.

Le gîte est bien situé à proximité de la mer et des commerces. Il est par ailleurs très bien équipé et décoré. Les chambres sont lumineuses, spacieuses et confortables. L'accueil des propriétaires était charmant.

Sehr ruhig gelegen und freundlich eingerichtet. Wir wurden mit einem Blumenstrauß auf dem Tisch begrüßt und bekamen frisches leckeres Gemüse aus dem Garten. Auch hatte die Gastgeberin einen wertvollen Tipp für uns. Die Wohnung ist für Ausflüge bestens geeignet.

Erholsamer Familienurlaub in traumhaft schöner Umgebung
Wir waren im Juli 2022 in Surtainville im Familienurlaub. Die Unterkunft war toll und als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge sehr gut gelegen. Aber auch die direkte Umgebung und die umliegenden Strände waren traumhaft schön. Frau Le Blond war eine großartige Gastgeberin, die uns regelmäßig mir frischem Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt hat. Alles in allem können wir das Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen.

Merveilleux endroit

Jolie maisonnette rénovée avec soin et d une propreté irréprochable accueil chaleureux
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine comme si nous étions chez nous. Régine a été adorable. Aux petits soins comme si nous étions de la famille. A l arrivée des légumes du jardin nous attendaient ainsi que le café. A cela il faut ajouter une région aux paysages magnifiques !

The Perfect Place to Relax
This property was exactly what we wanted. Perfectly situated so that we could enjoy all of the 75th DDay celebrations and also enabling us to explore both coastlines and meet up with friends in the area. Well equipped and very clean. Regine was the perfect host and she even gave us fresh potatoes and salad from her garden. The area is very quiet and that was what we wanted. Somewhere to relax after a busy days exploring. We thank Bernard and Regine for their hospitality and hope to return to their property. Would highly recommend this rental. Sue and Gary Baines

UN SEJOUR DE REVE EN COTENTIN
Tout était parfait ! Nous avons passé une semaine formidable dans un véritable nid douillet qui a ravi toute la famille. Les enfants ont apprécié les jeux et les livres mis à disposition. Nous n'avons eu aucune mauvaise surprise : description conforme en tout point à ce que nous avions pu lire au préalable, équipement au delà de nos espérances. L'accueil et les petites attentions des propriétaires nous ont vraiment touchés. Cette location constitue un véritable camp de base "tout confort" pour partir à la découverte de superbes paysages ( grandes plages de sable fin, sentiers le long des côtes, villages fleuris...). Si comme nous, vous venez pour la première fois en Normandie alors n'hésitez pas à retenir cette adresse.

TOUJOURS AUSSI BIEN
Pour la deuxième année consécutive, nous avons passé une semaine à la Grange à Surtainville chez Régine et Bernard début septembre 2015. L'accueil est toujours aussi chaleureux, le gîte toujours aussi propre et confortable les légumes et figues toujours aussi frais. La boulangerie du village est toujours avec de bons produits. Les paysages de la Hague nous encore ravis. Nous reviendrons volontiers dans cette belle région et nous retournerons avec joie chez Régine et Bernard si sympathiques. Très bon séjour à Surtainville
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Surtainville et le gite n'y était pas pour rien : très bon accueil par la famille Le Blond, le gîte est très propre et très bien équipé (c'est bien simple, il ne manque rien ! Même les jouets pour les enfants y sont), la décoration à l'avenant et les lieux sont très calmes, bien situés (proche de la plage, proche des villes de Le Pieux, Valogne, Bricquebec et Cherbourg avec tous les jours un marché à faire). Les sites naturels exceptionnels sont légion à visiter dans le secteur : la Hague, Jobourg, Flamanville, Carteret... et, cerise sur la gâteau, la météo était plutôt clémente ! Peut-être y retournerons-nous, mais j'ai déjà recommandé la location ! Au passage nous recommandons le Bistronomic à Valognes où nous avons très bien mangé pour un tarif très abordable. J'allais oublier les petite attention de Mme Le Blond (café prêt à l'arrivée, bouteille d'eau au réfrigérateur, légumes du jardin...) que nous avons énormément apprécié, merci à elle.

Merveilleux séjour!!!
Ce gîte est propre, fonctionnel, confortable, très bien situé. La propriétaire est très accueillante et pleine de petites attentions qui nous ont vraiment touchés. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable au coin de la cheminée et avons pu profiter des magnifiques paysages. Parfait!!
