Original adobe 1 bedroom Casa built in the 1930's. Newly renovated and modernized to accommodate your needs. Private entrance, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and can sleep 2. Complete kitchen with tile counter tops, lots of cooking utensils and many appliances (refrigerator, gas stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, Keurig coffee maker). Living area has original open beam ceiling, fireplace and milk window. Very cozy and comfortable with 48" flat screen TV in living room, 32'' flat screen TV in bedroom, both with DVD players and DVD movie collection. Cable television and free Wi-Fi internet is provided. Air condition and heat. Unit has washer and dryer. Front outdoor seating for happy hour and sunset viewing. Private patio in back with BBQ and outdoor seating for relaxing or enjoying meals. Access to bicycles. Shared driveway with parking for one vehicle. The driveway is monitored with a Ring security system.

Located in Central Tucson off North Campbell Avenue in the quiet Samos neighborhood. Very close to the University of Arizona and University Medical Center. Many shops and restaurants in walking distance along with a grocery store. Short driving distance to downtown Tucson and Tucson's famous 4th Avenue featuring a variety of shopping, restaurants and night life. Many parks and outdoor activities in close proximity.

Fabulous host and home to stay in.

This is our 3rd time staying in this home. We love everything about it. Super comfortabel for our time in Tucson. It feels like "coming home."

Very comfortable and well equipped home away from home

We enjoyed the front and back patios, the comfy reclining chair and sofa, and the quality appliances. The location is quiet, convenient, and close to a major thoroughfare with fast food, Starbucks, Ross, and a grocery store.

great little house, great location

This is the second time we've stayed at the Casa del Sol and we hope to be back for more. We ship our bikes to Tucson and reassemble them on the shaded and sheltered back patio. We're getting to know our way around the town and Mike's place is easy to navigate from. The kitchen is especially well stocked, too.

Comfort, location, ambience

Everything about our stay was great! The location is in a very quiet neighborhood just a few minutes from interstate access. There are lots of options for good restaurants and shopping nearby. The home itself is very comfortable with great attention given to detail that made our stay feel like a home away from home. There's also a very nice patio area in the front and back which we enjoyed. The decor has a great southwest vibe too. The hosts were responsive. One of the best rental experiences we've ever had. Wow! What a perfect place in Tucson!

This property has been lovingly restored (built in 1935) to an absolutely beautiful gem. It is very roomy with a wonderful large kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook meals. The bed was very comfortable and all linens were very high quality. The location was close to groceries, restaurants, gas and all event locations we travelled here to see. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Great place and location

We loved this little house in Tucson for our stay in early December to hike and ride bikes. The covered back patio was an ideal place to safely store our bikes out of sight. The location is near a busy commercial street, but there was no traffic noise at all. Local streets in the Samos neighborhood are quiet for walking or for bike access to other parts of town and to The Loop. And, the house is nicely finished inside and stylish. Nice work, Mike S.!

Best Lil VRBO in Tucson!

Beautifully remodeled Casita in a nice quiet neighborhood of Tucson. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner too! Wonderful patio in the back for the morning sun and the front for the evening sunsets. Great central location with privacy and tranquility. Probably one of if not the best ever VRBO we've stayed in.

Tucson casita

The casita is very nice and really well equipped. It is centrally located in Tucson and close to shopping and hiking. It is one of the nicest rental properties we’ve stayed in. Communication with the owner was excellent as well.

I was truly impressed

I am not kidding you when I say that every day, I marveled at what a wonderful job they did with this property. The remodel is beautiful (and it's a 1927 built adobe structure that truly has lovingly been brought up to date...part of the old ceiling is still preserved in the living room. Beautiful!) It had every amenity you could possibly think of...a travel mug, my very favorite types of containers, the comfiest of beds, coffee and creamer, high quality dishes, sheets, silverware, cooking utensils, towels. TV with cable in the living room and bedroom. Night lights! I actually brought one of my own, but I don't think I've rented a place that has them. Honestly, they've thought of everything and it's all high quality and in beautiful shape. I was lucky enough to meet the whole family during my stay, which was a week, and I enjoyed every one of them. Mike was kind enough to share some of the history of the property and what he'd remodeled. Corey was very responsive with the few questions I had. I would definitely stay here again. I also want to add that for anyone who is sensitive to scents as I am, they are very open to accommodating you and just let them know ahead of time so they can make sure they go as scent free as possible. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect for two people

My 84 year old mother and I came to Tucson to visit my daughter and we loved our stay at Casa Del Sol . We did a lot of cooking and kitchen was fully stocked and spotless. Corey texted us when my daughter came to visit to tell us her car lights were on - we really appreciated that! Thank you very much Mike and Corey

Such a comfortable "casa" in a cental location for sightseeing.

The house was bright and cherry, very clean and comfortable bed. The location was very good for restaurants and grocery stores and easy to get to places we visited. I would stay again anytime we can get to Tuscon for a few days.
