The perfect spot for our group.

Our group had an incredible time here. We’re a social club for adults with Down syndrome and everything about the property was perfect for our needs. The space was even better than described and extremely clean. The staff was also incredibly responsive and very helpful. 10/10

Amazing Weekend

Myself and a group of friends stayed in the bunkhouse this past weekend and everyone absolutely LOVED the camp. Some of the highlights were fishing at the pond, making large meals in the kitchen, having fires at the fire pit near the bunkhouse, and hanging out at the olympic sized pool. Mark and everyone working at the camp were extremely helpful and great to talk to throughout our stay. Thank you again for everything, fingers crossed we’ll be back in the near future.

Perfect Place for Family Reunion

We chose this property for our family reunion and it worked perfectly for our group of 30 in August. Most time was spent in the pool and on the porch with the rocking chairs. The kitchen was functional and large enough for meal prep and clean-up without 'traffic jams'. The property had enough bunk rooms that each family group could have their own space. Downstairs there was enough space for us to find quiet spots to visit while others were doing arts & crafts, or playing games. We arrived the day the summer campers left and the place was spotless (even my aunts were impressed! Campfire wood was provided. We used the whole property and every place was clean and well cared for. Planning to return for our next reunion.

Excellent!

I really wasn't sure what to expect with this property as it was initially meant for retreats for boys and girls schools and summer groups. It turned out to be amazing! Even though our group didn't use most of the facilities available to us the ability to use the commercial kitchen and lodge was more than we needed. The lodge sits looking right out over a fully stocked lake and has a deck with enough chairs for everyone to step away from the indoor hustle and relax. While the place doesn't have central AC the provided fans for each room were more than enough to cover us for a 75-80° weekend. Even with the management team having a personal emergency 3 weeks before our weekend trip, Tim still mange to get us worked into the schedule between two groups staying during the week. Thanks again for having us!

Great Stay!

Love the place, very comfortable and felt like home. Best weekend getaway for my friends and I. The property manager was on site and was available in case any problems occurred. The industrial kitchen allowed us to cook all our meals. The beds were memory foam, no problems at all.

Beautiful, spacious place

The caretaker and owner are absolutely lovely to book with. They answer questions quickly and will check in to make sure everything is running smoothly. The place is spacious and when we need more beds in the main cabin, they happily add cots for us. The kitchen is much larger than you'd expect and was easy to cook all our food in. Everyone on our retreat loved the place and could not stop talking about how much room there was to sleep and relax. The view of the lake from the porch is lovely too. 10/10 recommend this place!

Great for a large group looking for a reasonably priced facility with lots of children.

Spacious facility with lots of room to spread out both inside and out. Because of the age of the building and in its current state, there are challenges for those who are used to being pampered and expecting amenities such as air conditioning, double beds, screens in all windows and private bathroom/shower facilities. We had an issue that was quickly resolved by the caretaker as soon as we brought it to his attention. Everyone loved the huge swimming pool. Overall, the facility worked for us and we had great fun together at our family reunion.

Great place for camping with a large group of all ages.

Everyone in our very large group of family and friends had a wonderful time during our stay. My husband and I received compliments throughout the weekend for finding a perfect place that accommodated all of us. The facility is well-maintained and the staff are very responsive and hospitable. The rooms upstairs do get very hot in the summer but they provided many fans for us to use and we also brought our own. The camp offered so many activities for us to do, we didn’t have enough time during the weekend to do them all. We’re looking forward to coming back next summer!
