About this property

Relaxing Home on the Oregon Coast - Walk to the Beach!

The owners are regular visitors and love this place! The home has an open living area. Features include gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling and breakfast bar, and a dining room table big enough for 6. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one has a queen-size bed and king-size in the other, two full bathrooms, and laundry. It sleeps 4 comfortably. A 1/2 bath is located downstairs. The home is furnished with the necessary cooking and eating supplies - Keurig and coffee pot, microwave, and all the pots and pans and plates you will need. There is a single-car garage available for use of gear, and a covered deck in the back that is plenty big and private enough to enjoy the provided gas BBQ when you grill. There are paved trails to the beach right out the doors (either front or back), along with many paved walking trails within Shoreline Village and neighboring Nestucca Ridge - you can take the kids or dog for a walk all over the neighborhood. Walk to Pelican Brewery, pick up pizza, rent surf gear, or each morning walk to Stimulus Espresso for baked goods and coffee. Use of clubhouse with fitness room, big screen TV and pool table.

Build summer beach memories, enjoy winter storm watching, or just snuggle up by the fireplace with a book. You will love this getaway!

My friend and I had such a great time at this beach house. It was clean and comfortable, with a kitchen well-stocked with good cooking utensils and modern appliances. The gas fireplace was another favorite feature -perfect for stormy winter nights. We loved that it was close to the beach and also right off the road to the Pelican Pub and nearby restaurants on Brooten Rd, too. The downside of being somewhere so walkable was that there was a fair bit of noise from the road (not late at night, but definitely starting early in the morning). Everything else about it was perfect - highly recommend this vacation spot!

A perfect October on the coast
We had the most perfect stay here, from walks on the beaches, hikes in the forest, mushroom and huckleberry hunting, and fall festivals. Even our geriatric cat enjoyed staring out the window at the deer and birds. A perfect, quiet location with comfortable beds and well supplied kitchen. I admit, I sorted through the kitchen and arranged as I like. The knives could use sharpening if you’re staying and have the time. The garage has all the water toys you could want, but just watching the surfers from the shore was fun.

Quiet and cozy townhome just a short walk to the beautiful beach. Pacific City is a small and fairly quiet beach community with good restaurants and Pelican Brewery walking distance right on the beach. We had a wonderful stay!

Great Place to Stay!
We loved our stay in this Pacific City Beach House. Close (7 minute walk) to beach. Located in gated community. House has EVERYTHING you need. Great fenced backyard for our Aussie. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Owners are fantastic with communications. Check in is easy. Instruction sheets are provided. And comfortable beds. We will be back.

We stayed here during our annual family reunion weekend at Cape Kiwanda. It was super close by to where the rest of the family camp. We loved the house and the private backyard. Very peaceful!

Great place in a cute, quiet neighborhood
Comfortable space with pretty much everything you might need provided. Bring your food or other specific amenities, not many nearby places and no food delivery yet, but there are a few good local chains. If you can walk to the beach, there is a large dune with stairs on one side only. No good way to get equipment there, bring a few athletic friends or it will be tough. Otherwise it's very nice! The king size bed is a little bouncy, FYI, if you're a light sleeper or your partner is bigger you might want to plan ahead if possible. Lots of broken rest from getting jiggled around from every movement all night. (We're a little spoiled because we have a Tempur Pedic at home!) Overall great place!

This house is a dream. The decor is wonderful. The space, cleanliness, and items to use is terrific. The walk to the beach is lovely, direct access. The hosts replied to our messages immediately and graciously. I plan to book here again.

Beach weekend with my college daughters
Clean, well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds & living space. The walking paths in HOA/around property were nice & convenient. Access to the beach was a bit farther/more confusing than it showed on the map in the listing, but it was fine. The HOA does not have recycling services, which I do not like. I hate throwing aluminum into trash/landfill. Overall though the property was great.

Good location - close to beach and restaurants
We had a great time overall. The house is very close to the beach and walkable to some restaurants and bars. The house is also close to the street so you can hear road noise, it’s also a duplex but we were lucky and had quiet neighbors.

Great cozy place. We'll set up kitchen. Very responsive hosts! Highly recommend it. There was a slight problem with one room not being prepped and the host immediately responded and refunded our cleaning deposit.

We went to PC for a wedding/weekend and the place was in the perfect spot, just a quick walk to the dunes overlooking the beach, secluded and quiet within the little community of homes, just the right size for us and super comfortable. We would stay again for sure but next time for longer.

Very Nice!
Beautiful place to stay. Very warm and comfortable. Everything inside was clean and neat. Plenty of utensils, pots and pans etc... Nice back yard. Quick response from owner when I forgot the door code. If there is a drawback it is the fact that it is in a HOA and there is no on street parking. We solved it by having guests park on Cape Kiwanda Drive and enter through the back gate. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Excellent Beach House
This is our second time to spend several weeks at this beach house. Two bedrooms with two full baths and one half bath makes it perfect for friends to visit. The location is excellent. The house is clean and the beds are good. It’s a 5 minute walk to beach and you walk through a quiet neighborhood. Owners were extremely helpful and answered all questions in a matter of minutes. Grill has been updated which we loved as we grilled fresh fish (we recommend West Fish Co.) every night. Trees have been trimmed recently and a new roof. It’s obvious that the owners take care of the property. The Wi-Fi is very good, the kitchen is stocked with just about everything you need to cook any type of meal. Don’t want to cook, you are a 8 minute walk from Pelican Pub. We will be back as we love Pacific City and the beach house.

A Very Nice Stay
We enjoyed the property. It was as represented and fully equipped. The location is excellent for convenience and safety. The furnishings are excellent and the beds comfortable. The property owners were convivial and easily contacted when questions arose. This is a very nice, modern beach house.

Fantastic Stay!
We had a great time at this spacious, clean, well maintained duplex townhouse unit in Shorepine Village. Communication with the owners was easy & replies to questIons prompt. Location is an easy walk to the beach & restaurants/shops at Cape Kiwanda & a short drive/10 minute bike ride to the town of Pacific City. Unit had everything we needed to cook meals & was exceptionally well stocked with spices & ingredients. Bbq worked well & had a full tank of propane. There’s only room for one vehicle in the driveway and no street parking allowed in the complex so additional cars have to park about a block away in a lot - which wasn’t an issue for us. That being said, it was nice to be able to store our bikes in the garage. All in all a great place in a super location - we’ll be back!

We first came to Cape Kiwanda on vacation and fell in love with the beach, the surfing, the hiking, and the atmosphere. We can't live full time at the beach just yet, so we thought we would share this wonderful place with others until we can.

Why they chose this property

This property is within walking distance of the beach, the Pelican Brewery, the State Park - but yet it's very peaceful. There are walking trails all around the village. Golfing, Casino, and Wine tasting are all within driving distance for day trips. Just being here will make you smile.
