Great place for spring break vacation

My wife, three kids, in-laws, and dog had a great experience. The house was very clean and well stocked with linens and had thoughtful touches like beach towels, chairs and toys for the kids. Having the washer/dryer onsite was very convenient. The kitchen was well stocked with everything to prepare meals including pans, utensils, coffee maker, etc. We enjoyed the patio for playing cards and hanging out. Our kids enjoyed the small private pool. The location is a short walk to the beach and a short drive to any place in town. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing vacation.

Beautiful home near the beach

This house is so beautifully done. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor yard and had meals at the long tables inside and outside. Walk to the beach was very easy. Great find!

Great family vacation!

The place is spacious and can accommodate many people. Host has all necessary items and the location is so perfect, just a very short walk to the beach! We enjoyed our family vacation here and would definitely come back!

Great Spot

We loved this place and would absolutely stay again. The owners chose the amenities well. The screened in porch and pool were great to take advantage of. Walking distance to the beach and close to good eateries. Comfortable beds and pet friendly. Highly recommend.

Cute little blue home

This house was so cute and cozy. I truly felt like it was a home away from home. The pool was perfect size and maintained. The Wifi went down, and I text the homeowners immediately just to make sure it was their home itself, and they informed me it was a block thing, and they kept me updated through the evening. I didn't mind it going down, there were plenty of other things to do, other than being online or watching tv. The walk to the beach was so close and fantastic. I will be booking this house again. Wonderful stay!

We loved the place! There are so many amenities. We had everything we needed and more. Lots of conveniences like a private outdoor shower, plenty of parking, comfortable beds and new washer and dryer. Walking distance to the beach was nice. Very clean and I loved the beach decor everywhere! Looking forward to going back!

Older folks and their fur babies.

Your place was just like the pictures and was very close to the beach. The only thing we noticed was the floors were not very clean….everything else was. As we were a little older, the beds were very high. Ha!! All in all it was fun and we may come again next year. Thanks for all your help. Oh, the dogs loved it!!👍

Didn’t want to leave!

We loved the ample sleeping spaces, cute beachy decor, and cozy front porch. The pool, convenient location to restaurants and the beach, and pet-friendly policy made it perfect place for our family to stay. The super thick towels and luxurious pillows were icing on the cake. I want to plan another trip soon with a longer stay.

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

This is our second time staying, the host always have all that we need to feel at home and enjoy our stay. The location is great as we can just load up the wagon and walk to the beach for a few hours. They have outdoor shower to clean off from the beach and spray your beach toys/ chairs down. Well supplied kitchen, plenty of beds for everyone and the screened in porch made it nice to still enjoy being outside even in the rainy mornings.

Amazing Space

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this home. It's a block from the beach and easy access to town. The private pool is refreshing and clean. We loved the layout of the home and had plenty of room to lounge and play games at night and enjoy meals in the kitchen area. Bonus that my dog could come and feel welcomed too with a backyard and a daily beach walk. We will be back!

Great Location & Amenities for Home Away from Home!

Just a short walk to the beach and close in distance to drive to nearby shops and restaurants. The house was well stocked for our stay and appreciated the use of beach supplies (chairs, boogie boards, etc.)

This house exceeded our every expectation

There are several gathering areas that allow you to come together or spread out as needed. The decor is charming and eclectic and demonstrates how much the hosts have invested into making sure you enjoy your stay. I texted them several times in the weeks leading up to our trip, and they went above and beyond in giving me tips on what to pack and what to do once we arrived. I didn't think we would use the pool very often, given how close we were to the beach, but my younger kids and I loved that it was only 4 ft deep, meaning they didn't have to stay confined to a "shallow end" and I wasn't nearly as anxious as I usually am when supervising them while swimming. We hope to return someday!

50th Anniversary trip

We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect; everything we needed was there. We stayed 6 days so the laundry came in handy. The labeling on the light switches really helped. Perfect distance to the beach, only 1 1/2 blocks. The boys loved the pool and all the beach boards available to us. The loft was a big hit for them. If we get the opportunity to go back to Port A we will definitely stay here. THANK YOU for sharing your home with us.

Beach Trip

We arrived the day before a heavy rainfall. The screened in porch was the perfect place to enjoy our stay when it was too rainy to be outside. This charming beach house had plenty of room to spread out and a great living area that accommodated all of us comfortably we wanted to hang out together. We also loved the pool and outdoor shower.

We grew up in Austin Tx and have been visiting Port Aransas all our lives. Kevin is a Realtor in Austin and is an an avid investor/renovator. Kate works in the mortgage business and has a great eye for design and amateur photographer. We have 2 wonderful daughters, Ava and Morgan.

Why they chose this property

Its been on both of our bucket lists to own a property in port Aransas. We rented a house around the corner with some friends for our 10th Anniversary. After going by the property several times on the way to the beach we decided to investigate it and the opportunity presented itself for us to purchase the property from the estate. It needed a lot of work but with our vision and a unique skillset for renovating property we were able to make this home amazing.

What makes this property unique

You can literally walk out the front door and take the sidewalk a block down to the beach. If you have rolling wagons ect... its so easy to get down there. No need to deal with a beach walk over. The property sits low so its easy to get in and out of or carry your gear, coolers, and stuff in to the house without having to go up a flight of stairs. The porch in the front is such an awesome hang out spot. I love to sit there and watch folks walk by and drive by on the golf carts ect.... The pool out front is perfect for hanging out with seating on one end for the adults and the other end for the kids to play. We went the extra mile with the beds. They are super comfortable. Its awesome to wake up in any of the rooms with the high peak ceilings with rafters. Such a unique place.
