Ponderosa is a beautiful, single-level home located just off Big Bear Blvd, in a quiet neighborhood. When you drive up to the property, you'll find ample parking with space for boat/trailer parking and a flat, circular drive for easy access. Walk just a few steps to the front porch and admire the exterior stone work on the front of the home.

Immediately upon entering Ponderosa, you'll notice the high ceilings and many windows, including sky lights, that fill the home with plenty of natural light.

The kitchen is located to the left of the entrance. It features stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and is equip with all the basics that you'll need to whip up a home cooked meal. Imagine filling the home with the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and blueberry pancakes. After a long day on the ski slopes, your group would love to return home and feast on a hearty lasagna. Kitchen features include a gas oven, microwave, coffee pot, blender, and dishwasher.

A ten-seat wood dining table is adjacent to the kitchen. This area includes a ceiling fan to keep cool in the warmer months. If you prefer dining al fresco, a slider to an outdoor deck is located in the dining area. The deck and fenced backyard are an oasis, with mature trees and bird feeders. The deck includes a four person outdoor dining set and additional plastic Adirondack chairs. Grill up a juicy steak on the propane BBQ and enjoy a meal outside, in the fresh mountain air.

The living room is located next to the dining room. An enormous picture window fills the room with light and provides views of the backyard. Warm up by the old-fashioned wood-burning fireplace. The living room includes multiple couches and chairs, plenty of room for your entire group to relax and enjoy a movie on the flat-screen television with cable. Wifi In this big bear cabin we will ensure that you're kept updated on all that is happening in the world.

To the right of the front entrance, you'll find a hallway that leads to the bedrooms. Take a moment to check-out the vintage pictures of Big Bear that adorn the hall. Need to do laundry? A side-by-side washer and dryer can be found in the hall closet on the left. A 3/4 bath is also located near this hall, off of the main entry.

The first bedroom is a great pick for kids. It done in a bear theme and contains a twin over full bunk bed. This room also includes a television with HDTV cable and a window with views of the front yard.

The second bedroom is accessible through the first bedroom, but it has a pocket door to provide privacy. A full bathroom is located between the first and second bedrooms. The second bedroom includes a queen bed and television with HDTV cable. An unique feature of this bedroom is a small, in-wall fireplace located near the bed. This fireplace will provide both warmth and ambiance.

The third bedroom is located in the far back of the house. It includes a queen bed and views of the side of the house. This room includes a private entrance accessible from the outside of the home. Through this room, you can also enter the garage converted to a game room, where you'll find a Foosball table, pool table, shuffleboard, and a dining table that can be used for playing games, and a futon.

The master bedroom can be found on the opposite side of the hall. This enormous room has a king bed with a rustic wood frame. Walk out on your private deck to enjoy the amazing nighttime star display that you won't find in the city. Entertain yourself with the flat-screen television and HDTV Cable. An en suite bathroom includes a shower with high ceilings and a skylight. The separate sink area will make getting ready in the morning a breeze.

Extra sleeping space can be found in the living room with a pull-out sofa.

Ponderosa is less than a five minute drive to Bear Mountain Ski Resort, Snow Summit, and all of the shops and restaurants in town. It is a spacious home with many amenities, that is sure to be a favorite vacation spot!

Do not exceed the occupancy limit
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult  occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy. NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign.

No amplified music 24/7
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.  

Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

FOR PET FRIENDLY HOMES ONLY, Take your furry friend with you
Take your dog with you so they do not disturb surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake is very dog-friendly! Please be sure to verify prior to booking that the property does accept pets.

Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations:
41790 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.

Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.  

Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In  addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.
