You'll find the home impeccably decorated throughout with comfortable furnishings, making the space feel inviting while maintaining its rustic charm. All the amenities you want in your ultimate home-away-from-home are here, including a new comfy King bed, Queen memory foam sleeper sofa, wood burning fireplace, in unit stacked washer and dryer, wireless high speed internet and Google Home. Our condo comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests and is perfect for families, couples or friends.

After a day of relaxing, skiing, sledding, swimming or hiking, come home and prepare a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, pizza pan, Keurig, tea kettle, Keurig coffee pod, sugar, hot chocolate provided). Later, unwind by the cozy fireplace as you watch your favorite streamed shows (Hulu provided, your own subscription needed for other services) on one of the two flat screen TVs (55" Smart TV in the living room) or access the internet with Firefly Fiber Broadband high speed WiFi. You'll experience the best of mountain living with big windows to let nature in and a private patio, where you can enjoy a glass of wine and relax in the crisp mountain air. Surrounded by dense wooded foliage and fascinating wildlife, this home's outdoor space offers plenty of peace and privacy.

One of the top features of this condo is its location within walking distance of the Wintergreen Spa, steps away from 30 miles of marked hiking trails and 1 mile from the ski resort. No matter the season, Wintergreen Resort offers an endless supply of outdoor activities. In addition, this condo is close to several great local microbreweries, cideries, distilleries and wineries.

Weekend Relaxation

This was a cut and cozy condo! Just right for me and my pup! My family was staying in a bigger condo right down from me that wasn't pet friendly. This was perfect. Everything was clean and ready for me. I couldn't ask for a better place for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Had a lovely stay

This was our first visit to wintergreen. The fall colors were perfect. It was a gorgeous weekend. The condo was perfect for my husband and I. Love the wood fireplace! The sofa in the living room was comfy and perfect for relaxing. We loved that our pup was welcomed. We would stay there again on another trip and recommend it to others.

Great Getaway

Perfect Getaway

Our family of 3 had a wonderful time here! We were impressed with how well stocked the condo was. Plenty of extra bedding, and it was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. There were also several DVDs and boardgames. Communication was also prompt and clear, making check in and check out a breeze. I hope we have the chance to stay here again!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

My husband and I planned a weekend trip to Wintergreen Resort to celebrate my birthday. This was our first time to the resort and we were not disappointed. The condo was centrally located. Just steps away from the golf course, nature center, and spa. When we arrived we found the condo to be nicely decorated, clean, and stocked with everything we could need. The bed was so comfortable-giving us better nights rest than we have at home. Our host, Ritta was very helpful when it came to planning activities. She gave us tips on when to book snow tubing tickets and offered suggestions on where to eat. We sincerely appreciated her thoughtfulness in making our stay enjoyable. If you are looking for a perfect mountain getaway, this is the place for you. We will definitely book with Ritta again!

Dog-friendly mountain weekend

We loved staying here for our Fall vacation. The property is beautiful, everything in the complex is walkable and scenic. The condo is right in the middle of everything. Was dog-friendly and easy to take the dog in and out quickly for potty breaks. Only a 15 min drive down the mountain to get to stores/breweries. Would recommend.

Perfect Anniversary/Birthday Fall Weekend

My husband and I came to enjoy the beautiful fall leaves and temperatures at Rita’s condo in Wintergreen this past weekend. We brought along our 1 year old daughter to celebrate her birthday and our 2 beagles. First of all, the condo was exceptionally clean! I know some people can be leery of a dog friendly place but there was no sign that a pet had ever been there prior to ours! The condo was comfortable and had several unexpected niceties such as plenty of coffee, dog treats and toiletries! We enjoyed a fire in the fireplace and were very happy to be so central to Skyline Drive, Devils Backbone brewery, Wild Wolf Brewery, wineries and more! Thank you so much Ritta, we will be back!!

Great Little Mountain Condo

We really enjoyed staying at this condo. The owner Ritta, was very friendly and helpful with many great recommendations. She checked in on us, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. We took our 2 dogs, and the bottom floor condo was great for them. The snow was beautiful to watch as it fell outside on the patio. We highly recommend this condo!

Nice stay in Tanners Ridge

My husband and I had a nice (nearly) weeklong 4-star stay at this condo in Wintergreen. PROS: This condo is in a good location. It’s a first-floor condo with a large sliding door that leads to a patio. We brought our dog with us and it was easy to take him outside. We also enjoyed sitting on the patio which was surrounded by trees. The views from the condo were of trees and forest which made it feel more secluded. The condo was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, bowls, and other cooking tools. Also, the owner of the condo was very responsive and made sure that we had all of the information that we needed before our stay. We really appreciated her willingness to communicate with us about the current Covid rules at WG. Plus, the WiFi worked great! We both had to work during our stay and we never had any internet issues, even on Zoom calls. CONS: Although the flooring had been replaced with laminate hardwoods, the rest of the condo was dated. The couches need to be replaced—the fabric has seen better days—and the queen mattress in the bedroom is not firm and a little bumpy. Also, there is no central A/C in this property. There is a wall A/C unit in the living room that serviced the whole condo—including the bedroom. While watching TV, the unit would come on and it was really loud; we had to blast the TV volume to hear over the A/C. Even though there is a dehumidifier in the bedroom, when we first walked-in we noticed a mildew smell in the condo. It’s probably from stagnant air given that the A/C is turned off when no one is staying there. Finally, it’s worth noting that this condo does not come with membership passes to use the amenities at WG, which is more important during Covid because of the restrictions at the resort. This was our 7th year coming to Wintergreen. Although we enjoyed our stay overall, we have rented more up-to-date condos, which is why we give this condo 4 instead of 5 stars. 5 stars to us is a property that is both modern and pristine.

Tennis weekend

Condo was just as described. Ritta is a very responsive host. She allowed an early check-in which really helped, and provided many helpful tips for things to do and see in the area. VRBO overcharged me for the security deposit and Ritta worked hard to try to get them to rectify it. I just needed a place to sleep, shower, and refrigerate some food so I didn't need anything fancy.

Home away from home

Condo was well stocked and made to feel like home. From the moment we walked in, we were comfortable and Ritta was immediately available for any questions we had. Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of hooks in the hallway to hang up ski clothes, warm, quiet and cozy nights. Great escape and great place...highly recommend!

Wintergreen getaway

My husband and my dog wanted a nice mini vacation to escape the hot temperatures and picked Wintergreen. We love the mountains and Ritta's condo was a perfect choice. It was very clean and absolutely perfect in every way. The decor was fabulous and the condo was very comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable. We both had colds so didn't feel like exploring much but Ritta had a nice variety of movies. It was the best mini vacation and a great value. Ritta was always available to answer any questions or make suggestions. We would live to return and explore the Wintergreen area. Would definitely stay at Ritta's condo again.

Beautiful setting and comfortable home

Our family, including our toddler and two dogs, had a wonderful time in this well-appointed condo at beautiful Wintergreen. Ritta was responsive and accommodating, and there is so much to do in the area. We would definitely stay again! Our only regret is that we didn’t plan to stay longer.

Cozy condo in great location.

The condo looked just as pictured on VRBO. It was very clean, nice decor, perfect size for families of 2 or 4. Kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a meal in, once you bring your groceries. The location is close to Wintergreen amenities and local breweries. We will definitely return later this year!

Our family loves to spend time enjoying the outdoors in the mountains or at the beach when we are not busy with year round baseball, soccer and football. We are a professional couple with two teenage boys and we live in the Tidewater area of Virginia.

Why they chose this property

We understand the need to relax in a clean, calm space when taking a break from work and every day life. We bought a condo in the heart of Wintergreen for this very reason. We love that we can enjoy the year round amenities that the Resort area offers as well as take day trips to Charlottesville and check out the area's restaurants, breweries, cideries and wineries!

Since our boys are so busy with sports, we are not able to get away as often as we'd like so we are sharing our space that brings us happiness with you.

What makes this property unique

The condo is an end unit on the bottom floor so we have privacy and a private patio. Our condo subdivision is very quiet and peaceful. The expansive views are dependent on foliage during certain seasons but it's always beautiful. Parking is very convenient.

We offer cable TV on two flat screen TVs and free WiFi. The 55" TV in the living room is also a Smart TV. We also have 30+ movies to watch and several board games and cards available for entertainment.

We are conveniently located on the golf course and along one of the 30 miles of marked trails. Take a stroll on an easy trail or take it up a notch on of the more challenging trails.
