Our beautiful guest house, built in 2016, is located in the foothills of the Manzano Mountains, a part of the Cibola National Forest. The views to the west display the full grandeur of the Manzano mountain range with peaks reaching over 10,000 feet. The forest has many hiking trails and roads for wildlife viewing. We are only 5 miles from the impressive ruins of Quarai, which is part of the Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument. The other two units, Abo and Gran Quivira, are just a few miles further away. We are only 6 miles north of Mountainair, New Mexico. Mountainair is known as the “gate-way to ancient cities.”
This small house has a comfortable queen bed and a fireplace. There is a full bath with a shower/tub combo and a vanity crafted from native alligator juniper. In addition, there is a small refrigerator, a small kitchen with microwave, and a hot plate. A gas grill is available on the porch allowing for inside or outside dinning.
We are available for local information and directions.
