About this property

Make your memories of family fun, romantic sunsets and water sports galore in this luxurious home away from home. This immaculate townhouse is located right on the river and five blocks to the ocean. We have 2 large king beds in the bedrooms as well as a daybed and trundle in the large loft. There is a desk to use for work if you so choose, but we recommend soaking in a sunset on the dock, walking to the beach, or making a short 45 minute drive to Orlando.

This is a waterfront town home where you can watch the dolphins play from your balcony while you enjoy your coffee in the morning. View the amazing sunsets over the river while sipping a glass of wine on the dock. Kayak along the river and discover the local wildlife including manatees, dolphins, luminescent fish and tropical birds. The beach is five blocks east and we provide all the beach essentials; wagon, chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels.

Have a kayak or paddle board delivered to your dock in the backyard. Drive to a delicious local restaurant on the ocean. Watch a rocket launch from your balcony (follow space coast website for scheduling) Visit the space center, a ten minute drive away. Disney world, Universal Orlando, Sea World and the Epcot center is short 45 minutes west by car. Port Canaveral Cruise lines are only five minutes away and offer cruises to far away places as well as day trips on their casino boats.

The home has cable, WiFi, indoor laundry, fully equipped kitchen, Jacuzzi bath, two televisions, a barbecue, picnic area with dock and more. All the amenities of home in a tropical paradise.

Peaceful getaway

We loved this condo and would definitely stay again. Loved looking out over the water and watching all the birds. Saw a manatee and 2 dolphins while waiting for an evening rocket launch. Very cool experience. Beds were comfortable and kitchen/bathrooms were fully stocked. We walked to Cocoa Beach Pier a couple times, it was lovely.

Wonderful Stay

This townhouse on a quiet street with a pretty backyard was perfect for our stay. It was very clean, spacious and was just as described. There is nothing else that we could have needed. My husband spent time fishing on the dock even when the weather was rainy using the available fishing poles and tackle box. The views of the sunsets were amazing. The hosts were easy to communicate with. We would definitely come back!

Nice townhome but misleading description

Property was clean and well appointed but does not have a hot tub as listed in the description. Rather it has a jacuzzi tub. Very different. Also you would not want to walk to the beach as you would be walking on a 4 lane highway. The outdoor space on the river was very nice but would’ve been better with a hot tub

Fisherman’s paradise

We stayed here a few days before our cruise. The neighborhood is quiet and the unit had all we needed and then some. We will be back!

Perfect stay in Cape Canaveral

We were completely satisfied with the spacious and very well-equipped apartment and can highly recommend it. We miss watching animals on the jetty in the Banana River

Great Hospitality with Minimal Outside Activities

Lots of welcome gifts. Well stocked kitchen and refrigerator. Outside was a disappointment. Campers nearby had sewer smell. Outside deck included garbage cans view. A little dated in the bath and furniture. We did enjoy one night on the pier for the sunset. Nothing for young kids to do. Beach was not convenient and no pool. We even left a day early to go to the Courtyard for pool and beach. I would not stay again.

Amazing stay!

This townhouse was a perfect fit for our family. Loved the location. Spent alot of time on the pier. It was very clean and we appreciated the basket of snacks and all of the little extras that were there…laundry detergent, soaps, LOTS of towels. Went across the street to the beach to see a rocket launch! Will stay here again if we come back to the area.

Peaceful waterfront getaway

The property and its location have exceeded our expectations. The townhouse felt like home, very clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is so well equipped, we were able to make our favorite meals as if we were at our house. Both bedrooms have a lovely view of Banana River and the king-sized beds are very comfortable. We loved the deck with gas grill which we used every night. I really enjoyed the dock and would take my cup of coffee in the morning to watch manatees swimming around. It was very serene. The location is also within walking distance from the beach and neighborhood is quiet and very friendly. Kathe, the host, is very easy to reach and responds immediately in case of need. We were very happy with this rental and felt like we got really lucky to find it.

Won’t be disappointed

Family trip to the beach and NASA visit. Everyone loved the view on the back porch and the beach was very close. Will be back! The kitchen was great as I cook a lot on vacation. Too expensive to eat out these days.

Nice location in River

Very nice cul de sac location on the Banana River in the middle of Cape Canaveral. Beach is not close per se but you are right on the river; so great! Views at sunset are magnificent. Lots of wildlife - fish jumping, ducks, wood storks, pelicans and lots of manatees.

Better than advertised!!!!!

Went to this great accommodation with a golf group. The unit had everything as advertised, and more! We could think of nothing we needed that wasn't there. The location was great and very quiet for being just off A1A. Two good golf courses with 11 miles and plenty of good eating places. Great shoreline relaxation spot with fantastic Banana River views . Fantastic.

Wonderful home and property

We had a great stay! Relaxing and peaceful vacation. Wonderful property with everything we needed for a week stay. We really enjoyed fishing off the dock and watching sunsets off the back deck. Thank you we will definitely stay here again!

A perfect getaway

Kathe's place had the most beautiful view! I stayed in the downstairs bedroom off of the deck. I’m not even sure if it was the master, since there was an equally spacious and beautiful room with a king bed with a balcony and adjoining bathroom upstairs. We arrived after dark and my teen boys (15 & 17) headed straight for the upstairs room and loft, which had the perfect amount of space and privacy for them. The downstairs closet was full of everything you’d need for a day at the beach and more. The private dock on the Banana River right behind Kathe’s place was the best part. She had fishing poles and a small tackle box that we were able to use. My younger son was out there for hours each day! The view from the pier (and my bedroom) were stunning. We saw dolphins once as well as a few manatee that visited throughout the day, just next to the pier. There were all kinds of birds on the shore and in the palm trees. She even had a really nice pair of binoculars for the guests to use. There were cold bottles of water in the fridge, coffee (Keurig) and creamer, and even one or two frozen meals in the freezer (which my boys scarfed down when we got there). Kathe was very responsive to messages through VRBO and said to help ourselves to anything in the kitchen and that my son could use the fishing gear. She even had a book with info on the area and a few menus. All of her neighbors were very nice. I hope we’ll be back next year! Thank you Kathe for the perfect stay!

Family getaway

We really enjoyed this home, it was centrally located to all of our destinations. Upon arrival we aere pleased with the size, layout and how clean it was. We enjoyed several sunsets fishing out on the pier.

Great place and location!

We had a fantastic stay at Kathe’s townhouse right on the river. It was a great location on the water and the dock made it so convenient for my husband to fish both mornings and evenings. The condo has everything you can need and is comfortable and clean. We have stayed at several VRBO’s and this one definitely had more amenities than most. The owners have thought of everything you might need for a week stay from beach chairs, umbrellas to toiletries. We are coming back in the fall and will definitely stay here again!

Amazing getaway!

This property was everything that our family of three needed! It’s pretty spacious, definitely would be comfy for a group of 6. Home was clean, attractive and had comfortable beds. The beach gear is awesome. The deck and dock were just awesome. And we were close to so many great things! Sunsets during our stay were gorgeous. We enjoyed a kayak tour with Cocoa Kayaks. We saw manatees and turtles and tons of dolphins. We very much hope to return!

We had a fantastic stay at this property

The property is situated in a very quiet area and has a lovely view over the Banana River. The property was homely and is very well equipped. Kath was very quick to respond to all our queries and was a great host. Nothing was too much trouble. Wish we could have stayed longer here, and would certainly recommend.

I live in OC California where I practice nursing in the school system. I have two grown children and a lot of pets, lol. MY BF and I met in San Diego during our college years and we re - connected in central Florida. He lives with me in So - Cal now but we both still love the warm tropical nights and ocean of Florida.

Why they chose this property

My brother Charlie and I purchased this town home as a family vacation home. We have family on both the west and east coast that love to migrate to Florida at various times of the year and this seemed to be the perfect fit all the way around.
Charlie is the "go to" guy for any maintenance or technical issues. He's pretty busy with his beautiful wife and son but always makes time to help our guests from afar if need be.

The neighborhood, the amazing sunsets, the dock where you can watch a rocket launch in the sky and the manatees playing in the water, all contribute to the thrill of visiting this gorgeous property as often as we can.
