BIG BEAR GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT

We are 100% in support of our neighbors right to a peaceful neighborhood. This is priority #1 for anyone staying in our home. You are a guest of Big Bear Lake and staying in a Residential Area. You are expected to respect the neighborhood and those near you. Any call after that will result in ejection from the premises with no refund (you must sign a Big Bear Good Neighbor Agreement - see details of this agreement below)

Gorgeous handcrafted log and stone luxury cabin, sleeps 16 (max 10 adults). You'll really love this "one of a kind" cabin. The owners have spared nothing in making this one of the most luxurious cabins up here. This professionally decorated log cabin blends indigenous mountain materials with the artisan's finely crafted workmanship. The result is a strikingly beautiful combination of a mountain log home and a European stone castle.

The Great Room upstairs boasts a rock fireplace surrounded by a comfortable sitting area, large dining room seating 10-15, an open spacious gourmet kitchen with a center island, granite countertops, and all major appliances including side by side stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave – a real chef’s delight! Other kitchen amenities include a blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, pots, and pans. This cabin also has high speed wireless internet access, and a laundry room with a washing machine/dryer, a dryer, an iron, and an ironing board.

The downstairs is made for entertaining. Downstairs you will find a huge game room with a digital cable TV entertainment system, a wet bar with a mini-fridge, and another beautiful rock fireplace.

This game room sports 5 major game tables and assorted games. And most impressive is the fabulous Movie Theater that has a 7’ X 12’ movie screen with surround sound! A professional karaoke system in the theatre can project the words onto the movie screen, allowing everyone to see them and sing along! And imagine the fun playing enjoying X-BOX 360 and Netflix Streaming Movies & TV Shows on this truly huge screen! Honestly, this cabin has something for everyone! Play Wii in the Guest Suite - every part of this house provides entertainment! Private studio apartment too! The main house has 3 bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and its own private luxury bathroom. The second and third bedrooms have queen size beds and share another luxurious bathroom.

Downstairs the game room nicely doubles as a huge bedroom with three queen size sleeper sofas(UN-MADE) and has its own full bath right across the hall. And as if that's not enough, there is a separate studio apartment (The Eagle’s Nest) around back with its own handicap accessible entrance, and full bath. This studio apartment has a king size bed and a twin size sleeper sofa (children size).

Outdoor spa with a beautiful view. Just outside the sliding glass doors are decks and patios together with a large sunken hot tub, a gas BBQ, and picnic tables.

You will really enjoy relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the huge yard and the beautiful rolling meadows and tall pine trees just beyond. The Backyard. With lots of patio space, 2 picnic tables, 2 umbrellas, the gas BBQ, and the ping pong table, this area is great for family cookouts and get-togethers. During the winter months the backyard provides a perfect snow sledding area which everyone can enjoy.

There's so much to do in this cabin that you'll have a hard time choosing: Movie Theatre with surround sound Professional Karaoke words display on theatre screen Karaoke, Wii game - provided in Guest Suite X-BOX 360 in theatre room Netflix Streaming Movies & TV Shows Hundreds of movies to choose from Pool Table Air Hockey Table Foosball, Arcade, Table Ping Pong Table Game/Poker Table Dart Game 6 Flat Screen TVs, Snow Sledding in the backyard.

PARK CARS APPROPRIATELY. The Big Bear Lake Ordinance limits the number of cars parked at each property (ours is a strict 4 car max), and this number is displayed on a sign on each house. Parking more cars is a city ordinance violation. Please use common sense – Do not block streets or corners and keep all cars parked on driveways. During snow conditions, avoid large fines: do not block plows or park anywhere on the street.

ANY VIOLATION OF THIS CODE OF CONDUCT BY ANYONE IN YOUR PARTY WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE CHARGE AND/OR EJECTION OF EVERYONE WITHOUT ANY REFUND, AND COULD INCLUDE ADDITIONAL CITY

Blissful Bear
My family and I had a lovely stay at the Blissful Bear. The house has a lot of room for a lot of people and there are so many things to do. The community is lovely. The owner is very kind and responsible and was quick to respond to our questions. He also addressed things that needed fixing ASAP. A great place to get away from city life!

Perfect family cabin
Dave was great to work with and very accommodating to our needs. The house was perfect for 4 families with lots of little kids. All the kids loved the play room and movie theater. Of course the adults loved it too, but this feature really kept toddlers busy. The rooms are a little small, but nothing that is unmanageable, as there is plenty of space throughout the house to spread out. I’d love to stay at this property again in the snow, as it has a perfect backyard for kids to sled on property. This is a great year round cabin.

Long needed family vacation June 2022
This cabin is a must for large groups. Our family of 16 including three small dogs, had plenty of room to spread out and do just about anything. The only time we was all gathered together was when we was eating ;) The owner, Dave, was great and was always available by text if we had a question. Thank You Dave

Kitchen is fully stocked. Definitely no need to bring disposable plates or cups as there are plenty the even provide dishwasher pods so you dont have to worry about doing the dishes. I would bring an electric griddle if you have a big group and want to make pancakes. The movie room is awsome our kids didn't want to leave

Perfect place for us
This was the perfect place for our family. The game room was a favorite with our five kids and the kitchen was a big hit with my chef husband. A few minor issues but all in all we loved our trip and would definitely visit again.

Amazing stay!!
Dave and his crew were wonderful! They were extremely responsive via text during our stay. The property is great (and clean), just like the photos. We enjoyed the vast array of activities and ample space for our group of 15 to have fun. The Eagle’s nest was great for my boyfriend and I because our two small dogs wake up earlier than most and we didn’t want to disturb the group. That privacy was a plus. We hope to stay here again soon! Thanks so much!

Easy 5 Stars
The home is gorgeous with plenty of space and activities to spend your time. The game room is amazing! I’m sure everyone will find something they enjoy. I really liked how the upstairs bathroom was separated into shower room and a toilet room so large groups could use either without the worry of taking the other from another guest. The best part was the owner and property manager. The owner was quick to respond with my questions before my stay and provided a wealth of information on how to control the various media in the home. The property manager was the same during our stay. I had trouble with locking a door and she helped immediately. Finally, when I lost an item they searched the entire house and the street for it. They certainly didn’t have to, but that just shows how great a stay at the Blissful Bear is!! My whole family hopes to come again soon. They wanted more time there than just a weekend!

This is a great place for family memories to be made. The house has plenty of room.
The location is ideal for a family get-to-gather. The main floor of the house is ideal to socialize while cooking and eating a great meal. The barbecue on the deck is located near the kitchen and dining room so it is easy to manage. The game room was a hit for the whole family with the theater room with 500 movies available was a windfall of joy. We plan on returning in the future.

Returning to Big Bear
We celebrated our 50th anniversary with family members in this wonderful cabin. 50 years ago there were two. We moved to Louisiana and reared our family. We returned to Big Bear with seven family members and made wonderful memories here again. The game room and theater room was a hit. We had snow on the ground and two guys even braved the cold to go into the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and our stay was great. Thanks Nikki for meeting us and giving us the grand tour. Would definitely stay here again and recommend your cabin.

The perfect cabin!
After years of booking cabins in big bear, I finally found the perfect place for my family and friends! We booked this cabin to celebrate my 30th birthday. Plenty of space for 15 people to sleep very comfortably. This cabin has something for everyone. The movie room was amazing! My young cousins loved watching movies and karaoke. Tons of games and entertainment, we primarily came to town to ski, but after dealing with the crowds on the ski hill we opted to spend our second day enjoying the cabin. Very easy to contact our host, Dave. He contact me by text which I really appreciate and was easy to communicate with. Everything in this cabin was labeled and easy to use. HUGE bonus was that my furry friends were allowed to stay for a 50$ fee. I love my dog and leaving her behind wasn’t an option. We will be back! Thank you for everything Dave.

Excellent property. Perfect for large families.
We had a great time again staying at the Blissful Bear. The house has a great game room and theater room that keeps the kids/teens busy when they are in the house. We always stay with a fairly large group of family and friends and we never feel cramped or tight on space. The kitchen is well stocked and we are able to cook for everyone easily. The owner Dave was very helpfull and very responsive to any questions I had about our stay. I appreciated his hospitality and thoughtfulness. We are already looking forward to our annual Big Bear weekend and staying at the Blissful Bear again.

This house was amazing
We stayed for the weekend and it was fantastic. The layout of the house was great. This house is perfect for big groups of people. Living room and bedrooms upstairs with a great deck for overlooking the trees. Downstairs was the game room with just about anything you could think of. Plenty of games to play, a pool table, air hockey and foosball. The theater was incredible! It was huge! Outside was a ping-pong table on the downstairs patio with the spa looking out to the trees. The property is all enclosed which was perfect for our dog. Dave and Nikki both were incredibly helpful with everything and so so nice. We look forward to coming back!!!
