Newer construction cottage has high ceilings, beams , large windows. Beautiful cottage has queen size bed and sofa bed. Includes full size fridge, microwave and toaster. There is a wall mounted tv with cable channels. Air condition and heat. Included continental breakfast. High
ceilings and large windows. Family of deer live on property. Cottage is 50 minutes north of New Orleans. Cottage is very cozy and unique.

Deer Cottage

This is our third visit to Deer Cottage and it is perfect for visiting with family over here as we are from Florida. Cottage is well stocked and hosts very accommodating. WILL be back!

Lovely stay!

Such a lovely stay. The home was cute, clean, and well decorated. The host had prompt communication and went out of their way to make sure the WiFi was working so I could work remotely. The property is peaceful and has a lovely gazebo out back with a hammock as well. A sliver of coziness right by town.

When we got there is hadn't been cleaned feom the previous occupant but i called and she sent someone over about 20 min so we went and ate but when we returned everything was clean very nice and quiet

Idyllic Cottage Life just an hour from Nawlins

A delightful quiet property at the end of the road, owners live next door but the cottage is private and we felt comfortable and safe. Tiny house has everything we needed for a comfy stay, gorgeous outdoor spaces and plenty of local wildlife to watch while drinking coffee in the morning. The bulk of the driving to New Orleans is the bridge across Ponchartrain, and we felt that was a fair trade for the serene cottage life we got to live for a few days.

Great little getaway

Property was just as described maybe even a little better. Some of these VRBO places make me a bit nervous but this one was even better than expected. Everything was clean, neat, very private little setting. Great area, no worries about anything. Location is great and close to everything we were in town to do. Certainly a hidden little gem and if we are ever back in the area for a few nights I will look this place up first. Hosts were great also.

Peaceful, secluded, but close to everything

The price was fantastic. The location was superior. The deer was majestic. The bed was super confortable. Everything u needed was avaliable, even a full length mirror and a regular and keurig coffee pot, with pods, sugar, and creamer. A tv in the bedroom and knocking the leaves and weeds around the cabin prior to guest arrival is just a suggestion. Also i brick walking bath to seating area to have morning coffee and avoid morning dew on feet. Im so glad we decided to change our location last min and not fall for the city commericial properties. Thank u again!

This may be the most restful, lovely weekend my husband and I have had in a long time and this sweet, little gem of a cottage was the crown jewel in our getaway. The cabin is next door to the hostess who welcomed us and then left us to our privacy. We had everything we needed with some treats included. The property sits at the end of a rural road nestled in a wooded sanctuary. The picture window in the cottage’s living room looks out over the woods, some outdoor chairs and grill, and a gazebo with a wonderful double hammock. We saw wild turkeys and a fat little brown bunny. Perfect peacefulness. And the cottage is located within minutes of Covington, Mandeville, Madisonville, and Abita Springs (not to mention New Orleans about an hour away). We definitely plan to return and secretly hope no one else will discover it so it can just be our own private getaway. Lol! Thank you, Wendy, for making our stay so enjoyable.

Deer Cottage

Cottage was as advertised including deer. Also had some young turkeys wander by. Clean and well stocked, we had everything needed as we visited family close by. WILL be back!

Great stay at the property for us again. 2nd time staying and we enjoyed our stay at this cute little cottage bungalow. The owner was very helpful in getting us back our phone when we left it at the property. Would stay again.
