About this property

Amazing View, Walk to Biltmore Village from 1 BR Apartment

This in-town suite is the entire lower floor of our home with a gorgeous mountain view and entrance through a private patio. You can hear periodic train whistles and church chimes from Biltmore Village below. On-street parking is available with a private sidewalk to the suite.
This rental is suitable for up to two couples or a family with two children with a king-size bed in the bedroom and a futon in the living room and a full-size blow-up mattress. A table with seating for four is also in the living area. Other amenities include a frig, toaster oven and microwave, coffee maker and cup, plates and dinner ware.
Walk to shops, restaurants, and breweries in Biltmore Village. Ideally located only minutes to Biltmore Estate, the River Arts District, Downtown, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The neighborhood is great for a quiet, exploratory stroll, and Asheville is a mecca for cyclists, rock climbers, hikers, and river boaters. The owners are avid cyclists and hikers and can recommend a wide variety of road and mountain biking opportunities, as well as lots of interesting mountain-view and waterfall hikes.

Location was fantastic, close to everything. No off street parking available. One of the main reasons we rented the property was for the view, sadly there was none. Could not see the mountains due to heavy vegetation and growth.

Good Asheville property for 2
Location was very good, very convenient to Biltmore and the village. Plenty of space for a 1 bedroom unit. Did not like having to park on a very narrow street, but it was a very quiet neighborhood. Would rent again, very good value as well

We were looking for a place to stay close to both Biltmore entrance and also easily drivable to downtown. This is the perfect location! Nestled on a hill near expensive hotels, this is a total gem. Very clean and comfortable! Large annex apartment with separate bedroom and living room/kitchenette space. We found it very walkable to Biltmore Village microbrews and restaurants if you can handle a hill on the way back.

This place is cute and cozy. It's all you need in a town full of activity. The patio is very comfortable and has a wonderful view of Asheville. The comfort of home in a small scale. Cozy Christmas in Ashville
My boyfriend and I spent Christmas here and enjoyed it so much. Beautiful view and lots of extras, like a coy pond right off the back deck, bathroom essentials and snacks! I also enjoyed browsing the bookshelf. We would definitely stay again

Sisters Weekend
My sister and I spent the weekend in Asheville for a girls weekend and this place was perfect! Beautiful views from the patio and the location was great. Close to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville. I will definitely be staying here next time I’m in Asheville.

Zen retreat
This is a great location for Biltmore, and downtown Asheville, minutes to everything and good information in the room on things to do as well as information from host. Check in was easy, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed to have small meals and snacks in room. The most comfortable bed I have had on vacation and I'm picky about that. Had our host's number for any concerns which we had none. It was a very relaxing trip, love feeding the fish!

I am a retired landscape architect and I love gardening, the outdoors, walks through the neighborhood and cooking. My husband works at home as a technical writer, but his passion is riding bicycles and travel. We have a son who is a web designer in San Francisco. Our daughter, 24, lives with us and works as a server on the Biltmore Estate and at a cute creperie in Black Mountain. We have one old fat cat named Peace.

Why they chose this property

We moved from Atlanta four years ago, and love living in the mountains! Our best friends live in Sylva, and after years of visiting them, we made the move. We love biking, hiking, and living in a small city. Our neighborhood dates to the 1920's and has an eclectic mix of bungalows, craftsmen and newer houses. Our house is only 5 years old, and green built, on a steep slope that overlooks the Biltmore Village and Blue Ridge beyond.

What makes this property unique

The mountain view is what sold us on this house. Second is the location. We are less than two miles to downtown. Biltmore Village is a 15 minute walk, and the entrance to the Biltmore Estate is less than a mile away.
My husband loves being able to ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway as part of his 18 mile route several times a week.
We are still exploring hiking and waterfall trails and restaurants. We love the local music, food, and arts.
