Large home Downtown Chattanooga Sleeps 7-9

Completely remodeled historical home in downtown Chattanooga. Located in the University area where Chattanooga's newest restaurants, craft breweries and retail are opening. Our home has an urban and comfy vibe with large windows for natural light, hardwoods floors and high ceilings. We have been certified by the city of Chattanooga as an approved short term vacation rental. Pets considered if crated when alone.

For larger groups we have another property directly across the street. Sleeps 7-9 guests. Check it out!

We have completely updated this beautiful Chattanooga jewel. Our bedrooms are located upstairs. We have a king bedroom, queen bedroom, a bedroom with 2 full sized beds and a "half" bedroom off of it with one twin bed. This room is separated by a curtain for more privacy but does not have a door to separate. One full bath with tub/shower combo is located at end of hallway upstairs making it perfectly private. One full bath is located downstairs, features a shower and is very convenient for your stay. Downstairs den and dining room flow together for entertaining a crowd. Kitchen has all new appliances, including microwave. We have washer and steam dryer. For outdoor enjoyment we have a new private deck off the back entrance and large front porch. Limited cable TV, Roku and high speed Wi-Fi are included. We have off street parking, smart lock and home alarm.

LOVELY home in a great location!

My friends gather every year and we are so happy we choose this house! We all had our own bed but we were still together! The house was lovely with the old and new architecture, very comfortable and convenient to SO MANY places! It was a pleasure to stay here and easy to access. We were sad to leave! Thank you for a wonderful respite!

High School Graduation Celebration

We had a wonderful time visiting Chattanooga for our celebration. The house was a great property. It was very clean and in a good location. We actually rode electric bikes from downtown to the house one afternoon. It was really close to everything. The den is a bit smaller than I had thought when booking. Also, it is on a busy street and noise from traffic woke me up several times over the several days we stayed. Other than that it was a perfect place for us.

Unexpected Gem

We were in Chattanooga for the IronMan and this location and layout was perfect for our family. It is in a transition location but we never felt unsafe. Parking was a breeze, great to have laundry accessible in the unit and the rooms were well appointed.

Don’t hesitate to rent

Property was exactly as described. Perfectly cleaned. No issues with WiFi or TVs. Nice towels and linens. Great to have W/D on site since we had 1 & 5 y/o. We felt quite safe in the city neighborhood & appreciated being close to everything. Downtown has wonderful art museum and aquarium. Suggest adding small shelf unit to upstairs bathroom for renters accessories & maybe clothes hooks to inside of bedroom & bathroom doors. We enjoyed the Bundt cakes that greeted us when opening the fridge for the first time. Thank you!

Great house in a great location

The house is amazing and had a lot of space for us to spread out. The location was close to everything we wanted to visit. It was either too cold or wet for us to enjoy the outdoor porch (more shaded in the afternoons), but we sat on the sunny front porch a few times just to watch the world pass by. The house had everything we needed and loved our time there. The host was incredibly helpful and communicative. We hope to stay there again!!

Comfortable and Convenient

We had three couples stay at the house for the weekend. Very comfortable, well stocked kitchen flatware and utensils, comfortable beds, good size TV. It was about a mile from downtown, so walkable or a 5 min drive. We had a great time!

Perfect home away from home!

We visited Chattanooga for a small vacay and for our daughter’s UTC orientation! UTC campus is so close! The home is close to the best shopping, brewery’s and more! It was only a short drive to visit “See Rock City” and the railway incline! The house was perfect, very clean and felt like we were at home! The owners were great and very flexible with our travel schedule. They have done a great job with every detail of this home! Thank you for small cakes, so thoughtful! We hope to book this home often once our daughter moves to Chattanooga in the fall!

Great visit and a convenient home

The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed and more. My kids loved staying in the 3 bed bedroom all together! It was also nice to be able to put kids to bed upstairs and have the whole downstairs to the adult for the rest of the evening (TV was loaded with anything you would want to watch) It was so convenient being just a few minutes drive from all the fun activities in downtown Chattanooga and across the river. The kids are already asking when we are going to come back!

Tony and I grew up in the Chattanooga area. After living away for a few years we moved back to the area to raise our children on our family farm just across the Georgia boarder. We are lucky enough to experience the best of both worlds by enjoying our home downtown and having the farm in Ringgold. We are very involved in our downtown neighborhood and love our DT community. We take advantage of all that Chattanooga has to offer. We love the great restaurants, nightlife and music in our city. We enjoy the walking path along the river, the many hiking trails we have access to, fishing in nearby streams, and attending the great events we host in our city. Our daughter is a rower and you will find us cheering her on at the Head of Hooch or Chattanooga Head Race. When we travel we head to Bozeman to visit our son and enjoy the outdoors beauty of Montana.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property in the Fall of 2017 because we love the University area. We own the a home across the street and have watched this home for several years. When it became available we jumped at the chance to purchase it. This house had so much charm and character that we just had to have it. We have spent the last several months updating it and love the results. We think you will too!
