About this property

Ocean view, modern recently outfitted 2 bed suite just steps to the White Rock beach and restaurants. This unit is licensed by the City of White Rock and complies with new provincial legislation. Level entry, no stairs. Unit has a full kitchen including dishwasher, quality cookware and fittings. There is in-suite laundry, one bathroom with a shower/tub. Heated polished concrete floors throughout, exposed engineered beams and open concept layout. In White Rock, 1 minute walk down the city stairs to beach. Dedicated driveway outside the door and is easiest with a small or medium vehicle. Bedroom one is larger and has a king sized bed and large closet. Bedroom two has two twin beds and a wardrobe. We can convert the two twins to a King-short upon advance request. Owners live in the upper unit of this home in case you need anything during your stay. Everyone is welcome in our home but please, no pets, parties, or smoking or drug use of any kind on the property. Reasonable tidiness during your stay is enormously appreciated. We pride ourselves in a well kept space. Our modest cleaning fee covers turnover/reset and not deep cleaning. Extra guests not noted in booking are not permitted. Wonderful in White Rock!

This property is fantastic! There is a cross walk directly out front that leads to public stairs that go directly to the waterfront. About a 2 minute walk. Very well equipped kitchen. The whole suite was very clean and tidy, and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay at this property again. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view of White Rock Pier

This is our second time staying here - four sisters coming to visit parents in a seniors home. This is a great location, ground floor entry to have parents over for meals, a really good cooks kitchen, comfy beds and all the amenities, and an easy walk down to the waterfront and pier. Owners are so pleasant to deal with, and we hope to return again.

Premium accommodations on the water

If you’re visiting White Rock and wish to stay at a convenient and well kept home, look no further. This ground floor unit is beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable and located within walking distance to the famous White Rock pier. Our stay was very pleasant as our host Geoff took care of all our needs. We had a chance to walk up and down the hilly paths every day, which kept our cardio going! In the evenings we would pop over to the restaurants on the beach strip which were just down the steps from our location. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to relax and take in the breathtaking views of White Rock. We will definitely be back!

Great Stay

Very impressive place and amazing hosts. Nice walk down to the pier and a good hike back (burned off that ice cream cone). Moby Dicks was a great place for fish and chips as well, about a 15 minute walk along the beach. Would love to stay here again.

Amazing place to stay

My wife and I stayed here. Geoff was a perfect host, did a walk around with us showing us everything. This place is immaculate. Very clean, beds were very comfortable. A 5 min walk to the beach. We will definitely be back and highly recommend. Great place!!

Thanksgiving weekends

My family and I spent the Thanksgiving weekends here. We had an excellent stay at this place. The location is great, offering easy access to the beach. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodation. The room was clean, and the tasteful decoration crated a cozy and inviting atmosphere. All in all, it was a great experience. Great Vacation

A pleasant surprise when we arrived at the property not having to share a bathroom with strangers as can happen at some properties. The host were very accommodating. We loved the suite it had everything needed and very clean. Location was central to all restaurants and attractions. We would highly recommend this property to anybody. Wedding Weekend

Fabulous location and wonderful accommodation. Only 10 minutes from Hazelmere Golf Club where my son was getting married. The suite was nicely decorated and very comfortable for 4 adults. Very quiet even though on a busy street. Location was a short walk to the promenade for great restaurants and walks along the ocean. If I’m back in White Rock I hope to stay here again.

Beautiful White Rock Location

This property was gorgeous. Location was great, so close to the beach. Great for us, with two kids, no one had to share a bed! I expect to book it again. (this truly is the highest praise I can give? We already want to go back!)

Whitw Rock

The property is lying in the form basement, which is on street niveau. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two beds. A large room with a kitchen at one end, a large table in the middle and small table with sofa and arrmchair near a window in the front . You need the electric lights all day. The bedroom and bath get a little daylight from glas up in the wall. The car can be parked in front. In spite of that we liked being there, not only because we had no long way from there to visit our relatives in the Senior-Residence. Accross a small steep street there are stairs which lead down to another street at the seaside. The property was clean and had contained all things you need for some days.

Great location on high end property

My partner, young child and I had a great stay on this property. Beds are comfortable. Sheets felt cool and luxurious. Communication with host was great. We are light sleepers and weren’t bothered by noises from upstairs or the street. During our stay there was an extra visitors pass for our guests and it made for a less stressful trip for them. The only improvement, we would suggest is shampoo/conditioner. We never travel with it but it wasn’t listed as an amenity either. Overall it was a A+ stay and we would highly recommend it to others. Also the price point is amazing for location and quality.

We grew up in Victoria and moved to White Rock in 2005. We downsized our yard for an ocean view in 2015 and have been enjoying the uban/suburban setting close to restaurants and the beach. We have family in the Vancouver area, as well as Vancouver Island and the NWT.

Why they chose this property

Because it is pretty cool! On the hillside, close to the restaurants and beach and a unique house that wasn't like everything else. We didn't build the house, but the family that did build it made some pretty bold choices that we love too.

What makes this property unique

A different home. The home was built in 2010 with leading environmental design and materials. Triple pane fibreglass windows, solar heated (with gas backup don't worry!) concrete floors, exposed beams and open floor plan.
