Great vaca with some unfortunate circumstances

We loved the home and location and we already familiar with the area so it was a no brainer being able to walk/bike/drive to all the good stuff. Unfortunately the upstairs air went out day two of our four night stay, which meant three of the bedrooms and two of the bathrooms were without air the last half of the stay. Vacasa was so fast to respond and send out services but we were left with two options… pack up and move everything to a different house the evening of the third day when they concluded it could not be fixed OR stick it out with some portable air conditioner for the bedrooms. Either option was not ideal but I think vacasa did the best they could with an unfortunate situation. Thankfully they did credit us some of our money back to compensate for half of our vacation being not ideal. We would stay at that house or in the neighborhood again.

Wonderful stay!!

Our family of thirteen (8 adults, 3 littles and 2 babies) had a beautiful vacation at this house!! It was SO clean, organized and perfect for us. The texts/messages that I received before checking in were all timely. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Best Beach House

We absolutely loved staying in this home for our family vacation. The house had everything we needed and we loved the community it was in. We typically stay closer to the beach, but loved how convenient a quick bike/golf cart ride is and would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful spacious home

This place was GREAT. It was spacious, clean, and in a gated community with a pool. There was a shopping center right down the road, it seemed to be new because not all the shops were open but it was still nice that it was close. It was a quieter area, with mostly nice houses and no high rise hotels. You have to drive to the beach to the public access spot, apparently most of the beach is private there....it was a little strange to me but we were always able to get a parking spot no further than across the street. We also got a spot on the beach each day easily. There is a lifeguard on duty. If you want a quiet, more upscale area experience then this is right up your alley. If you want hustle and bustle and a million highrise condos then you might be a little bored here. The area wasn't super diverse but we didn't run into any issues. I only contacted property management for one thing, the hedges were a little long and scraped on my car when I pulled in the driveway. They said they would fix it but no one ever did. I didn't really hold that against them because the rest of my experience was so positive. The pictures were an accurate depiction of the property. I would 100% recommend this property. I would recommend this area if you wanter a quieter, slightly less crowded beach spot.

Great family home

This house was perfect for our family especially the little ones! Everything was so nice and clean it made you feel right at home. Also it included the necessary from laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent, it had all the necessary to pots and pans to cook meals and very accessible location.

Nice house, but needs some upkeep

The house is in a neighborhood that we frequently visit. While I usually have great things to say about the houses we visit, this one had some items that were a bit lacking. I’ll detail below: 1. Kitchen’s minimally stocked. Had enough dishes for eating, but some items were missing when we wanted to cook some meals. 2. A burner on the gas stove was melted through. We did report it and was assured that someone would be out to repair, but no one came. 3. The outdoor trash was overflowing. Had to call and report this as well. Previous tenants left approximately seven bags outside of the two trash cans because they would not fit. This should be part of the cleaning service responsibility. The bedrooms were fine and house were fine. Just need to address the items above. Overall, we had a great time at the beach like we always do, but we’ll be looking at different houses for next year.

Lacking Beach Necessities

I like to start with positives, so I'll say the house itself is really cute and newer. It's a nice, gated neighborhood and a short walk, bike or golf cart ride away from the beach. The house was spacious enough for our family of 6 adults and 6 kids. However, be fair warned that this house is not close to being stocked with the items it needs. It's a beach house, yet there are NO beach chairs, beach toys, or beach towels. There's not enough silverware in the drawers, no spices, no hand soap in the bathroom, not enough bath towels for a larger family, and so on. The dishwasher wouldn't clean any of the dishes in the top layer, so we hand-washed the entire trip. The pans are horrible to cook with. Also, the air ducts in this house need to be cleaned desperately. For the amount of money you pay to come down to 30A, we just felt we did not get our money's worth by staying here.

Enjoyed our stay

The house was perfect for our party of 9. The community pool was nice, and it did have chairs even though the listing stated there were none due to COVID. The kitchen items are a bit lacking. For instance, there was not enough silverware for our party for a single meal, no potholders, and cooking utensils such as large spoons, and spatulas were sparse. Adding a few kitchen items would be great. I would still recommend this house. We drove to the public beach access that was 1 1/2 miles away because it had restrooms. There's closer public beach access about 1/2 mile away but no restrooms.

Very cute house, great layout and vibe.

The house was really nice looking, and perfect for our group of 4 adults and 8 kids. Basically two master options (although one was a little grander than the other), so great for 2 couples needing en suite bathrooms. The kids LOVED the triple decker double bunk room! The kitchen was very pretty and functional but you do need to bring things like trash bags, multipurpose cleaner, etc. The 12 minute walk to the beach is doable but pretty far. But driving to the beach was great, just make sure to get there before 10:00 to be able to park. So enjoyed our time!

Great comfortable house but not convenient to beach.

The house is a great beach house and perfect size for our group (two adults and 9 teenagers). However, the closeness to the beach was misleading. We were able to rent a golf cart which made it more convenient, but without bikes or golf cart, getting to the beach would not be easy. Location to the beach would not be convenient for young kids or any group/family that likes to be able to go back to the house during the day. You have to use the public beach access which is 1.5 miles from the house. The public beach access is nice, but limited parking for cars and golf carts. It is doable, but requires planning. The house itself is great and comfortable. Nice, quiet neighborhood but HOA is strict on rules and parking. Overall a great stay but would have been nice to have been aware of beach location beforehand to plan properly.

Excellent stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is fresh, clean and well laid out in a small gated community. We loved that the pool was heated and so close to the house. The only downside was the limited kitchen equipment but there was considerable cabinet space for what we brought. Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely be coming back

Seaesta in Greenway Park

Great home, loved the size and decor. Perfect for our family of 6 + in laws. Kids loved the bunk bed room! Balcony and front porch were amazing! TVs in almost every room was nice. Washer and dryer + fridge were great! Outdoor shower head was a nice bonus! *Suggestions: add some beach bikes, chairs, beach toys for guests. Queen bed in front room w balcony was not real comfortable and squeaked bc it’s metal. Also, several cabinets were locked in kitchen and laundry room which was strange to me. Need some potholders and more kitchen towels/rags. We only cooked breakfast and sometimes lunch but 2 was not enough.

Ohio Family/Friend Trip

The property was in a perfect place for a quiet stay. A little distance to walk to the beach but the State Parks close by were beautiful within 15-20 minute drive. Community pool was very nice. Only complaint was the tv in family room didn’t work very well.

Loved our stay

Great location and very roomy for two families and 9 kids. We rented a golf cart and bikes for the kids, but would have paid extra for the house to include these items to save the hassle. Same for beach chairs. The house did not include enough kitchen utensils and little things such as pot holders. Overall a great place, great neighborhood and very convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants with the golf cart. We will definitely be back to 30A soon!

Perfect for 2 families!

This home was perfect for two families traveling together. There are 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms (so each couple took one of those), a bedroom with 6 bunk beds ( the younger kids took that room), and a bedroom with a queen bed (my two teenagers took that room). Everyone had plenty of space. I loved the outdoor shower, the neighborhood pool, and the proximity into the beach. We ate at Mi Casita twice-we love authentic tacos-and it is in walking distance. The only thing that was a let down was the one ply toilet paper…

Not quite perfect.

The house itself was nice but there is no golf cart as listed. On day one the living room TV didn’t have cable, the gas grill was falling apart; and customer service was slow to respond.

Lovely house!

This house was great for the six of us. Peaceful, quiet neighborhood a short drive or bike ride to Seaside town center. Keep in mind that the bunk room sleeps six, but it is designed for kids. My 13 year old stayed there but she was almost too big for the bunk. Only other drawback was that the beach was not that close, but there is parking down at the access point if you don’t want to walk. House is really nicely decorated, and we had a very relaxing and fun week. We would definitely stay here again!

Favorite Rental

I loved this home!! The only thing I would change is the triple bunk beds in one bedroom. They are just unusable to me. Every room is gorgeously decorated. It was very clean! I booked this trip after I could submerge my new knee in water. I was hoping for the golf cart to get us to the beach but it wasn’t available. You do need to drive to the beach but the car was fine. Pool is very close and nice. Will definitely rebook if available.

A gem of a neighborhood

We appreciated the sleeping arrangements and comfortable beds in this well-planned home. The proximity to public beaches, provision of a four-seater golf cart, comfy porches, lovely decor, and top-of-the-line appliances made our stay near perfect. I also appreciated the self-locking backdoor with a good key pad. My large group could come and go at different times and not have to keep up with keys. Unfortunately, the walls and trim of the home have become grimy and the whole house needs a thorough cleaning, not just quick maintenance between guests. Thankfully, I found the towels and bedding to be very clean. I was frustrated, though, by the absence of a dustpan. The vacuum also has seen better days and has no suction. Finally, a word about the golf cart: PLEASE address the loose steering. Someone is going to get hurt!

Lovely house

Sea-esta is a wonderful house, well-appointed and decorated in a charmingly subtle beach theme that is not obnoxious or kitschy. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The home has so many windows for natural light, but the plantation shutters allow for complete privacy. The outdoor shower was key so as not to track sand inside. The washer and dryer were great. Since each VRBO is different, it is helpful to know that you will need to bring your own beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent/pods. Instead of the public beach recommended in the description, we had the best luck maintaining social distancing (we traveled just after Florida opened up to visitors) at the Deer Lake State Park beach. It is the same distance, just the opposite direction. There is a $3/vehicle fee and the State Park Patrol closes the gate when the allowed number of guests have arrived. We usually arrived between 9-10 and had plenty of room on the beach. Heads up! The golf cart has very loose steering and driving it on 30A is terrifying. It needs to be fixed to be safe. It was incredibly difficult to get a response from the rental company. I tried text, email, and phone calls for questions about the rental and they typically took 24 hours to get a response. We were given the wrong code to access the house upon check-in. We had to wait 45 minutes on hold to reach Vacasa for a new code (after driving for 12.5 hours and arriving in a tropical storm). This was incredibly frustrating. Also, please note that the trash pick-up days listed in your check-in instructions are wrong. Because of this we had an overflowing trash bin from the previous guests and the raccoons were happy to spread it all over the driveway. This also took some time to resolve. Oddly the neighborhood "sheriff" was able to get in touch with the rental managers immediately. It was written in the house rules that only licensed adult drivers could operate the golf-cart (never mind that we saw lots of teenagers from another house ripping around in golf-carts). One evening my husband allowed each of my children (ages 6-9) to take turns sitting on his lap to steer the golf cart through the neighborhood. My husband was the one "operating" the golf cart. We got a phonemail, text, and an email from the property managers chiding us for allowing children to operate the golf cart all before we had even parked it back in the driveway. Overall the house itself was lovely and comfortable!!
