Oceanfront Cottage with Private Beach Access

Perfect for a quiet beach get-away! This classic oceanfront cottage was renovated in spring 2018 (heating and air system replaced in 2021). Private beach access with seating on dune overlook. The cottage sleeps up to 7 and offers a full suite of amenities including a full-sized washer/dryer, outdoor shower, grill, and an additional refrigerator. Emerald Isle is perfect for family vacations and couple retreats. Restaurants, outdoor activities, and historical attractions are all within miles of this sparkling coastline.

Three bedrooms (King, Queen, and Twin over Double Bunk Bed) and 2.5 baths. Bed, bath, and kitchen linens are included and beds are premade prior to guest arrival.

Ocean views from every bedroom. Extra TV room/play room on first floor with futon, for additional sleeping space if desired. Plenty of closet space including a large hall closet and a walk-in closet in the master bedroom.

Flat screen TVs in both living rooms (both with Blu-Ray players) and master bedroom. Free Wi-Fi.

Wide covered porch overlooking the ocean furnished for outdoor dining and relaxing. Spacious backyard with patio area and grill. Private beach access with seating on dune overlook. Outside hot and cold shower with changing area.

Centrally located in the “downtown” area of Emerald Isle, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Less than 1 mile to Emerald Plantation Shopping Center (which includes grocery store, restaurants, shops, and movie theater) and the Bogue Inlet Pier.

Amazing week in Emerald Isle!

We’ve been coming to EI for the last 7 years and of the 4 homes we have stayed in (all ocean front) this is hands down the best home. Adina has thoughtfully curated an entire BINDER full of relevant and recent information on everything you could want or need. Additionally her pay it forward practice ensured we had almost everything we needed for our stay. I ran out to buy conditioner before I realized it was already there! Please enjoy that bottle of conditioner it now lives under the sink in the upstairs bathroom! Anyway, our kids kept saying how this beach house felt so different from the others in that it felt truly like a home. So many nice and thoughtful little touches to list but they really didn’t miss a thing here at Isle Escape! Thank you for yet another amazing vacation in Emerald Isle. We can’t wait to return.

This home was great. The location was perfect! Walking distance to shops and dinner! Also rented bikes and took several rides! Private walk out to the beach. Property management has thought of everything!! If you forgot something chances are they have it available for you. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful week at Isle Escape! The location was perfect, the house has fantastic views of the Ocean and a nice breeze made the porches ideal to enjoy in the mornings and evenings. We loved eating dinner overlooking the ocean from the picnic table on the back porch and it was so nice to be just steps from the beach. The house was immaculate when we checked in and had everything we needed for an ideal ending to our Summer. We would absolutely return!

We loved our time at this home. Easy to check in, clear communication, and it had everything we needed! The only suggestion I have would be to add one more detailed photo of the beach access. We had seniors in our party and the walkway didn’t have an easy path onto the beach. It may be difficult for those with limited mobility. Just a suggestion. Overall, a great time and we will be back!

Adina and her husband have been amazing hosts. This is the third year we have stayed at this rental for Christmas and it is decorated nicely and very clean. They are great with communication. If you are looking for a spacious house, with direct beach access it does not get any better then here.

Charming cottage just steps away from the ocean! We loved Isle Escape. The host was very helpful with excellent communication. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, and bike/running path. Clean, quiet and peaceful spot. Especially loved the outdoor shower and what a nice bonus having an extra refrigerator/freezer. Isle Escape is decorated beautifully. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful location

My family and I stayed here for the week. What a beautiful beach, 150-200 steps to the ocean. My kids loved the outdoor shower, it was great to get all the sand off. Sunset slush right down the beach was amazing ice cream/sorbet. The only complaint was the water. We are spoiled to live in the country with clean well water. The fridge filter and under sink one haven’t been changed in a long while. Either bring a brita or bottled water and ice to have good tasting water.

Almost there

Isle Escape is a great family, oceanside home. Nestled behind the dunes, you have a pretty big yard for perhaps a game of volleyball or croquet. (Watch those Fire Ants) Views from the beach side of the house are lovely. Covered deck with Adirondack chairs and a picnic table are ready for a family fresh out of the surf. Inside, flat-screen TVs abound, so you won’t miss out on an important movie or sporting event. Common spaces are ample and the bedrooms and kid nooks appreciated. The kitchen has everything you’d ever need to make it seem like home. Even a blender! The owner’s pay-it-forward sentiment insured plenty of paper towels, TP and Old Bay. Most everything was spotless, plenty of towels, blankets etc. My only rub was the omission of any sort of privacy curtains in the kitchen and dining room. All the other windows in the house have some sort of window treatment, except the place where most people congregate! If, like our family, you are not OK with this, be sure to bring cover-ups, cause you are sort of in a fishbowl from local neighbors and the roadside.

Some of our family members have been vacationing in Emerald Isle, NC for generations. We have always loved our trips to Emerald Isle and have years of wonderful vacation memories. In 2010 we were able to move here and we are very proud to call Emerald Isle our home. We love the small town atmosphere and the amenities Emerald Isle and the surrounding area has to offer for us and our children.

Why they chose this property

This oceanfront cottage has a private beach access, covered outdoor seating and dining, and ocean views from each bedroom and the main living room. It is centrally located in Emerald Isle, allowing for easy access to all the town has to offer.
Emerald Isle's bike path is approximately 11 miles long and extends through the entire town of Emerald Isle, taking a tour past the various shops and amenities Emerald Isle has to offer.
Restaurants range from casual eating and sports bars to fine dining with views of the sun setting over the water.
Stop in at one of the local shops for fresh brewed coffee, ice cream, or candy. Shop for souvenirs, locally made goods, beach and fishing gear, games for a rainy day, or a good book.
Other attractions include a movie theater with new releases; a water park; Bogue Inlet Pier, where you can enjoy a beautiful overlook of the water or a day of fishing; a public boat ramp; and playground and recreational facilities. Additionally the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium is a short drive from Emerald Isle.

What makes this property unique

This oceanfront beach cottage is a perfect place for a family getaway or a couple's retreat. A covered porch with outdoor seating and dining offers a beautiful view of the ocean where you may spot pods of dolphins. A spacious backyard allows plenty of room for outdoor play, and includes a outdoor grill and patio area. The outdoor shower has hot and cold water as well as a separate changing area so you can keep your clothes dry while you clean up after a fun day at the beach. The house has a private beach access and has seating on the dune overlook, a perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or a drink at the end of the day. All bedrooms and the main living space overlook the ocean. The bonus room is a great space for movie time and has a futon that can be used for extra sleeping space. It is the perfect place to sit back and relax or have instant access to all the fun the beach has to offer.
