The home has been recently refurbished and is modern and contemporary, with bamboo flooring, comfortable and homey furniture, a nicely appointed kitchen. Redmond Getaway

We were visiting Redmond for an event at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds and this was the perfect place for our stay, house was conveniently located for us and in a great neighborhood. I was driving a truck and pulling a trailer with a Jeep on it and there was the perfect amount of parking for everything, the Jeep can't be secured so there was an initial concern about it being parked out in the open, but being such a great neighborhood it wasn't a problem at all. The house was clean and very inviting, it has had recent improvements and everything worked great and was very comfortable. If your considering a trip to the area I can highly recommend Michael's home, he was very accommodating and communication was great, would definately stay again.

Blue house

Needs repair work. Loose faucet in master bath, mold along inside of shower door in master bath, dry rot below kitchen window behind sink. Front door surrounded by cobwebs. For Halloween? Looks like a "Flip or Flop" house. Overall acceptable but really needs some TLC.

Great place to stay in Central Oregon

The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The only minor problem was that the owner was traveling in Europe, so while he is responsive, the time difference, combined with the fact we were often out of cell phone range during parts of the day made communication a bit slow.

Great little house

Great house in an excellent area. Stayed on a weekend where temps were close to 100. It was very hot and no ac in the house. There was a portable unit provided which helped a little. Otherwise it was an awesome place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay, but summer in central Oregon is very warm/hot. Some fans were provided and were helpful, but AC would be so much better! The owner was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay, which we truly appreciated.

Very clean and comfortable.

Our overflow house for family reunion. Ended up only using for 2 nights instead of the 6 we reserved it for (one guest one night, three the next night); so not much time spent there. Apparent that owner has put in the work to make it a clean & comfortable place. Being near the airport, grocery store, etc. is nice.

Quiet retreat in Redmond

This property is being renovated. The outside needs lots of work but the inside is comfortable and very homey. New appliances in the kitchen. The cable channel selection was very poor but we came for a graduation celebration so spent little time in front of the set. Back yard is dirt with a few weeds so not very usable.. We enjoyed the property & would recommend it to others.

Why they chose this property

I am from the Central Oregon area and have, over the last couple of years enjoyed my visits. My decision to make this a home that I could return to again and again has been a journey, and it's been fun seeing the transformation. The home has gone from being a neglected rental into a comfortable home by which guests, and myself, can feel comfortable and enjoy while staying and exploring in Central Oregon.

What makes this property unique

The home is well located to the airport, and venues within Central Oregon that are coveted by travels both from the USA and abroad. The design is evolving as I find pieces that both fit the character of the home while creating an experience that a traveler might not otherwise choose for themselves. I love finding rare pieces and look forward to continuing the taking this home down a unique path.
