Come spend some quality time with your friends and family, enjoy amazing sunsets, gaze at the stars and relax at our Sherwood forest cabin! The cabin is located in the quiet pine forest between Williams and Flagstaff. It is less than 10 minutes from BearArizona, Dear Farm, Route 66, Grand Canyon Railroad, Shopping, and the New Canyon Roller coaster. It is 45 min. from Flagstaff/ Snow Bowl or the Grand Canyon.
The Space Description-
This 980 sq. foot 2-story cabin sits on a pine treed 1-acre lot. Linens, towels, pillows, and cookware are all in place and available. Fireplace, Air conditioner, and heater system and baseboard/wall heaters for climate control. In addition, fans are provided in every room of the house for those who need constant airflow. There is a full kitchen in an open floor plan, with a dishwasher. The Cabin itself has back road access to Sycamore canyon, Sycamore falls, and lakes like White Horse Lake, Dog Town Lake, and a short drive to Kaibab Lake. There is plenty of fresh air, star gazing, fishing, and hiking. We are pet friendly at an additional charge due to the extra cleaning that takes place.
This cabin is sure to keep everyone busy both inside and outside as it has a large porch with rocking chairs and a propane fire pit, lots of board games, a record player, records, a movie projector, a huge DVD selection, 2 T.V.s, a basketball hoop, tetherball, corn hole, volleyball/badminton net, and a playground structure with climbing wall. The shopping is amazing and includes but is not limited to Native American jewelry, art galleries, clothing, and souvenirs. The local grocery store in Williams is a Safeway and is less than 10-15 min away. You can also take time to enjoy all of the wonderful restaurants including the local wine tastings and breweries in the area!

About the host
Hosted by Kevin Strogen

I am a firefighter and Captain in Mesa, AZ and my wife is a teacher and has taught grades Pre-K to College ages. We have two sons, ages 11 and 15. We love the outdoors and enjoy spending time at our cabin and in the forest.
Why they chose this property
The area is very quiet and peaceful. There is plenty to see and do close by. The Grand Canyon, Sycamore Canyon, Sycamore falls, Bearizona, Historic Route 66, Polar Express, Grand Canyon Coaster, fishing and hiking are just a few.
What makes this property unique
We have included a thank you basket with teas, coffee, snacks, and oatmeal. Feel free to read the hundreds of entries in our guest book from people who have traveled from all over the world to stay in our cabin. We have many people who have come more than once. In addition, we have provided a binder and magazines with information about the surrounding area and things to do. If you have any questions we can assist in recommendations as well.
