Welcome to the Sky House tucked in the heart of Hot Springs Arkansas. This cozy cottage is located within walking distance of all the local downtown Hot Springs attractions. This updated getaway is located just across the street from the town's historical Whittington Park. Views of the park are right out front, enjoy all the lush forest has to offer!

The Sky House is a quiet 2 bedroom house tucked away just outside of the hustle and bustle. Hiking trails along West Mountain are easily accessible and only a 5 minute walk down the street. On your way to the trail head, fill up your drinking cup at one of the town's free nutrient rich Spring Water taps.

Here you will find a quiet space tucked away just outside the burst of activity downtown. However, all the sought after attractions are only 10 minutes away. Whether you choose to take a stroll into the historic downtown Hot Springs or catch a horse and buggy to the bathhouse, you can do it all here at Sky House. Oaklawn racing and gaming only a 3 mile drive away.

Adjacent to the notorious Whittington park, relax on the front porch like they did in the old days. Imagine chatting it up with ol' Babe and sipping cognac with Capone while admiring the scenery. Take a walk up the street to stand just where Babe Ruth did to hit a homer!

Mountain Get away

The property is great - just as advertised. It was an easy walk to Bathhouse Row/Historic district which is a great plus since parking in that area can be scarce. The property itself is darling - they did a great job updating it and yet keeping the historic feel. Comfy beds and heavy curtains in the bedrooms helped us sleep so well. Kitchen is well stocked - we were easily able to cook when we wanted to (but walking distance to great restaurants made this not overly necessary). Coffee on the porch in the morning is a must! So peaceful. Definitely stay here for your Hot Springs visit.

Great home in an excellent location

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It was more than I needed while traveling alone, but I loved the walkable location, and its proximity to both hiking trails and bath house row. The home was well appointed with everything needed for cooking, cleaning, relaxing, and bathing. Would totally recommend to a friend.

Great cottage in a perfect location. Convenient to everything, walkable. Host is wonderful, very helpful and quick to respond. The path/park across the street was great for early morning walks. We had a great time! I would stay here again.

Adorable Cottage

This cute cottage was perfect for my daughter and me. It was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. I sometimes have difficulty sleeping in a new bed, but not here. I slept great every night. The location was fabulous. The path and creek across the street were gorgeous. It was also easy to drive in and out of, just a short minute from downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Nice 'grandma vibe' with the house. It's about the best area to stay in if you want to be close to the bath houses. Hot Springs is a bit sketchy, but this house sat on a quiet street near a state park.

Great Spot

The host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The location was great with a little greenspace and creek across the street and the National Park in the backyard. Easy access to hikes on West Mountain as well as one of the two cool thermal water fountains in Hot Springs. We drove into town but you could walk it in 15 minutes. Loved the front porch. Great place.

It’s a lovely spot to stay if you want to walk the park or to Central avenue. I did not walk as much as I had hoped due to the HOT weather but I was able to enjoy the porch both early and late hours.

Couldn't have been better!

We were traveling from Texas to Tennessee so decided to stay a couple of nights in Hot Springs to break the trip up. We couldn't have made a better decision. Sky House was perfect in every way! Great communication with host, he even met us at the door to make sure everything was OK. The house was spotless, comfortable and cozy. We loved having coffee on the porch each morning. Even if you could find a complaint with the house (which I doubt you will), the location alone makes it worth every penny! The great little park in front of the house was an added bonus! I highly recommend Sky House if you are planning a trip to Bath House Row in Hot Springs It did not disappoint.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property in Hot Springs National Park to save the history and share it with travelers. Its important to us to preserve the homes legacy and share with others just how special this location is.

Just think, not too long ago, this home was one of the most sought after houses in the old days. For all we know, Babe Ruth himself may have sat upon this porch.
