Hello!! Welcome to SUNRISE SHORES CONDO 3. We are directly on sand beach and have amazing views of Lake Michigan.

We offer:
**Free Internet, Free unlimited in and out of State Long Distance Calling - this is very important since many visitors to the county find that they have poor cell phone reception.

This beautiful condominium is an upper unit and located on sand beachfront on Lake Michigan in Wisconsin's Door County Peninsula. The kitchen, dining area, living room and balcony all give way to spectacular sunrise views over the lake. The colors of the water and skyline are ever-changing throughout the day. The town of Jacksonport is a quiet, tranquil town nestled between Lake Michigan and hardwood and pine forests. The constant lull of the waves provides a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. This is a unique area of Door County since the sand beach continues for miles to the north and south.

There are kayak, canoe, bike and other rentals, several small restaurants, a grocery store in town/within walking distance for some.

While other towns of Door County are bustling with commercialization, they may not have sand beach or water access for safe swimming and walks. Jacksonport has one of the best sand beaches in Door County - it is a small quaint village perfect for families with small children who appreciate quiet calmness and a restful atmosphere. Build sand castles, relax and walk the beach with the kids. You can walk the beach to any point in the village which include the grocery store, the park, church, the town bakery/cafe or to other places to eat. Jacksonport is centrally located between the more commercial areas of Door County - with Sturgeon Bay about 15 minutes to the south and Bailey's Harbor, Fish Creek, Ephraim and Sister Bay about 10 - 25 minutes to the north. Jacksonport is just a few miles north of Cave Point County Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park where you can find caves, cliffs, sand dunes, miles of trails and nature walks, lookout points and friendly wildlife.

The unit is 1,220 square feet and has 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed in each) + a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room, 2 full bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, over-sized whirlpool tub in the master bedroom in addition to an attached full master bath. There is a high chair, pack 'n play, child table and chairs, and children's cups, spoons and dishes.

If Condo 3 is not vacant for the dates you desire, check the listing for Condo 4 on VRBO or call or email for availability of condo 4. Our Go-To Door County Place

This was our fourth stay at Mark's condo. He is very easy to work with and responds quickly to questions. We prefer the quieter side of the peninsula, which is a short drive to the restaurants and shops on the other side. The condo, as always, was clean and well-kept. We ate half of our meals at the condo and it had everything we needed. What is most remarkable about this property is the consistent quality Mark has maintained over the years.

Great, quiet location

The view of Lake Michigan is stunning! Wonderful sand beach and very neat, clean property. Missed that no kitchen items other than dishes were included, so we needed to run to the little market for K-cups. Island Fever was a great option for dinner the first night. We had a great time exploring Door County over the weekend. THANK YOU for making our accommodations so inviting!

Slice of Heaven

My friend and I were looking to have a quiet weekend getaway and wanted to be able to do some sighseeing but more than anything we wanted to relax. This was perfectly located to be central to a lot of lighthouses and also easy drives to the wineries and more busy towns. The condo is well maintained and kitchen has everything needed to cook meals and stay in. We loved turning on the fireplace and looking out to the water. The beach is beautiful and we loved going on walks along the water. We absolutely loved our stay!!

Beautiful location on the lake! Beach was clean and easy short distance access. The balcony made it easy to enjoy the sunrise and the moonrise as well as the sound of waves coming up on the beach. We enjoyed the jetted tub (a couple of the jets aren't working). This felt great on an injured knee (prior injury/ACL tear). We will look forward to another relaxing and entertaining vacation at your accommodations. We have also passed information on to family members.

Gorgeous lake views

We came to Door County for a relaxing getaway with my parents and this was the perfect place for the four of us. On the quiet side of the peninsula, we loved having coffee on the balcony in the morning and breakfast in the dining area while listening to the waves. We enjoyed coming back to the condo after sightseeing to relax in the evenings. The condo was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. Mark was wonderful to work with. We would definitely look to stay here again when we return!

Amazing Property & Location!

We loved this property! The location is perfect if you are looking for a quieter, less populated community with beautiful sandy beaches. Pros - Property was very clean and inviting. I brought extra items, but to my surprise, it was very well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. They also had plenty of hangers in the closets and clothes hampers too! - Beautiful views of the beach! No matter what time of day or what the weather was like, the views were stunning. - Beach was phenomenal - we have a 7 and 8 year old and they could have spent our entire vacation playing on the beach. - We took long walks almost every evening along the shoreline and soaked in the beautiful skyline and crashing waves. - Great communication and clear expectations from the owners. - Lots of extra storage in the en suite bathroom! Cons - This was the only reason I gave four stars instead of five stars - some of the windows were broken and didn't open or wouldn't shut. Most of the windows only opened a few inches. The biggest let down was that there was no screen door to the deck. This place would have been perfect if we could have had a screen and let the breeze blow through the condo and listen to the sounds of the lake. I hope the owners will consider adding one - it would really elevate the experience. Overall - fantastic property and experience. I highly recommend!

Amazing vacation!

This is our second time staying at this property and it was just as wonderful as it was 7 years ago. Everything you could possibly need is there and the condo is so clean! Had a bit of a time with the TV but my husband and I aren’t exactly “techy” :) The lake flies were bad in the evening so we didn’t use the deck much at night, but that’s not a negative to the condo. Still an amazing place and we will be back again! Mark is a wonderful host and very responsive.

Another excellent week

This is our third time renting this condo from Mark since 2019. We prefer to stay on the "quiet side" of the peninsula and have sufficiently enjoyed staying here that it has become our go-to Door County rental condo. Mark is exceptionally easy to work with, as he responds quickly to any questions or concerns and maintains high property standards, including cleanliness and various updates around the condo. Of course, the beautiful lakefront location of the condo adds to the experience. While some VRBO reviewers seem to give five-star reviews as a matter of course, this property and owner legitimately deserve a five-star rating.

Great Lake stay

A very nice place, the Jacuzzi after a January hike was most welcome. Nice views of Lake Michigan from both rooms. Plenty of beach to walk. January temperatures and 30mph winds off the lake limited our porch time but we still had two fine sunrises and a starry night sky to watch.

Hello, We are Mark Ash and Ann LeClair-Ash. This condo was built on Ann's parents' (Richard & Helen LeClair) former beach property in 2007. Her 7 siblings and her played on this beach daily in the summer. This property is very dear to us. Ann's father, Richard LeClair, was born and raised next door to this property. His grandparents were commercial fishermen who emigrated from Quebec to the shores of Jacksonport. After having served in the Navy during WWII, Richard purchased this beach property. In 1957, my parents began operating 'Lake Shore Summer Homes', with the same guests returning year after year until 2006. This property is part of Richard and Helen's legacy and the shoreline, the views of the lake and sounds of the waves are in our blood! We have decided to share it with you. Come stay with us and enjoy the beautiful sand beach in Jacksonport, WI.

Why they chose this property

It is built on Ann's parent's former beach property and where she grew up. It is our second home. We have traveled around the world and this is still 'home' and our favorite place to spend time with our family.

What makes this property unique

It is relaxingly uncommercialized! While there is everything you would want and need in the village of Jacksonport, it remains calm and tranquil. Many guests who have stayed with us say that they don't want anyone to know about it because they want it to remain calm and quiet! Miles of sand beach, beautiful views, park and water activities all around door county.
