Enjoy the best of both worlds; the quaint, private bungalow near the hustle and bustle of fabulous Nashville. This is an area with a very high walk score and many transportation options. We are walking distance to Belmont, Hillsboro Village, Vanderbilt, Music Row, 12 South, and 15 minutes to the airport (BNA) by car.
This 1920's bungalow is full of character and modern amenities like Bluetooth wireless sound system. It has original hardwood floors, sliding barn doors, and is decorated for comfort and with Nashville southern charm. It has a large bedroom with a queen bed, room darkening drapes, and a large closet. The bathroom has the usual suspects and is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, lint brush, magnifying mirror, and hair dryer. The living room has the most comfortable sofa bed you've ever slept on (queen size), rocker/recliner, and large closet with extra linens, pillows, iron and ironing board, and games. It has a full size kitchen with full size appliances including dishwasher and microwave. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee at the snack bar, or sit and sip at the table in the dining nook. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, toaster, a Keurig coffee maker, and more. There is a stack washer/dryer laundry closet. There are ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room but there is also central heating and air. To get you started, we will supply you with:
some k cups
tea bags
sweeteners
creamer
microwave popcorn
bottled water
instant oatmeal or bars
raisins
There is a Kroger grocery store on the corner of Blair and 21st (less than a block).
We honor the privacy wishes of our guests so be sure to let us know how much (or how little) assistance you will need. We live on the property and are available as our schedule allows. We are always available by phone, so please, do not hesitate to call or text. There is a security light and camera on our garage which faces the backyard and bungalow. There is a floodlight and camera facing away from the bungalow toward the alley. We have a security camera and floodlight facing our street, away from the main house.
•We have a Residential Short Term Rental Permit that includes U & O Fire and Life Safety approval.
•There is no washer/dryer but a dry cleaner with laundry service is 1/2 block.
•The cleaning fee is to cover some of the cost of the clean up after you check out to prepare for the next guest, daily housekeeping is not included.
