Excellent Fun

We love staying at Golden Beach we had several family groups in over a two week. Roger Chapin was excellent to work with and very helpful about not only things about the house but about Boca Grande and Boating we will definitely stay there again and highly recommend the location and the house which has many different living areas and a backyard pool very close to the beach and downtown

The best host, home and location!

Our stay in Roger’s home was amazing. We didn’t want to leave! Roger was very helpful with any question we had. Their home is in such a great spot, close to the town, restaurants, farmers market, beach, etc. We would highly recommend!

Amazing property and location!

Comfortable accommodations for our group of 4 couples. Everything we needed and then some! Multiple pots of coffee on the various decks every morning; privacy for each couple and so much to do and see all within a mile. Unanimous that our group will be back!

The best!

Roger Chapin is a very gracious host. His property is immaculate and couldn’t be in a better location to enjoy the lovely island of Gasparilla. His welcome amenities were appreciated and his attention to our needs during our stay quite attentive.

Can’t wait to come back!

What a spectacular vacation! You can tell that this home has been the center of very special family gatherings over the years, and our stay was no exception. Roger was such a welcoming host, even before we arrived, and his gracious attention to all the details of our visit, made the process seamless. The home is even lovelier than the photos, with plenty of space for a larger group, but intimate enough for a small family. The location is IDEAL! Walking distance to town, a few steps to the beach , a beautiful bike ride to both ends of the island..and around the corner from the weekly farmers market...(Which I returned to several times in one day) The home is immaculate and extremely well appointed, with everything you would need for a home cooked meal and visits to the beach. The outdoor areas of the house allow for sunrise warmth with your morning coffee and gorgeous sunsets from the top deck! The pool and lower level area kept our teens completely happy! We were very sad to leave.. and already planing our return. Really cannot say enough wonderful things about our host and “Golden Beach”. Thank You!

Golden Beach

The house and location were great and Roger, the owner, was awesome. He left the place well stocked and even left us multiple bottles of wine as a welcome. He could not have been more proactive and responsive. The house is close to town and just across the street from a beautiful part of the beach. We could not have been happier!

Lovely stay!!

My family and I had a really nice week at Boca Grande. The house was lovely and Roger could not have been a better host with ideas for activities and restaurants. I had never been to this part of Florida and can see why it's a hidden gem. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Hosts

This property was very well-appointed and one of our favorite VRBO rentals. We were treated to a lovely welcome basket and snacks in the fridge and the house was spotless. The owners want your experience to be first rate and they are immediately responsive if there is anything you need. We will definitely stay here again.

2019 Hunter vacay

Thank you Chapin’s for a great week. Everything from the booking to the departure went smooth. Everything you need for a family vacation is provided from a full kitchen to beds and bath. A very secure area and beautiful home! Roger was in touch during the week to make sure we had everything we needed and my husband was catching fish🐠.

Wonderful Family Home

Incredible beach vacation with grandchildren! House was perfect for all ages. Plenty of room to spread out and great open floor plan on main level to enjoy being together. All the essentials needed (including wagon and cooler) for days on the beach. Fully equipped kitchen for enjoying family mealtime. Fresh caught shrimp boat comes in on Tuesday. Perfect Day : morning beach walk, boat ride to North Captiva, lunch at Barnacles, drinks at Gasparilla Inn, dinner at Pink Elaphant, back to house for beautiful sunset from amazing rooftop deck. This home in Boca Grande made for a truly memorable family vacation!

Had a wonderful stay!

Our family vacation was made even more special by being able to stay at this beautiful, clean, well appointed home. Its location is perfect. We enjoyed being steps away from the beach and so enjoyed the spacious pool. The quaint downtown area is just a short bike ride or walk and is home to many fun shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this property!

Everything Was Amazing!!!!

We have stayed in houses all over North America and historically do not stay in the same house twice. This house would be the exception to that rule. It is laid out perfectly for two families or just adults. The main part of the house is open for gathering space, meals, and entertainment. The back deck overlooks the pool. The house is located a very short walk to the beach. The pool is amazing and kept our kids busy for hours every day. Everything is super clean. We only have good things to say about this property, the owners, the communication, the pool, the location, the cleanliness was all top notch. We would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you for such a great experience!!!
