Welcome to Cove House, a sheltered deep waterfront property on historic Prinyers Cove and situated at the eastern tip of Prince Edward County. Settled amongst cedars, towering oak and locust trees, this quiet rural setting is convenient to all PEC attractions and amenities, wineries and craft breweries. Just 10 minutes to Waupoos, 15 minutes to Lake on the Mountain/Glenora, 25 minutes to Picton, and 45 minutes to Sandbanks.
The house is a 9-year old raised bungalow and features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, whirlpool tub, laundry room, an open-concept gourmet kitchen, dining area, and living room all under vaulted ceilings. Enjoy the outdoors sitting on the water-viewing deck which runs the length of the house, watch the beautiful sailboats entering the cove, enjoy a grilled meal prepared on the propane BBQ. Down the stairs, gather around the fire pit and tell tall tales about the fish that got away or play a game of croquet or bocce ball on the lawn area.
Prinyers Cove is a coveted destination for recreational boaters, so be sure to bring your boat and take advantage of the idyllic waters (a launch area is located just around the corner). A gently sloping path from the rear of the house leads to the large dock which can accommodate almost any type of boat up to 40 feet with plenty of water under the keel. For fish enthusiasts, the Bay of Quinte is a legendary destination with plenty of nooks and crannies to reel in the big one, or try your luck and just cast a line off the dock.
Off the water, enjoy long walks or cycling along quiet, scenic routes within the unspoiled rural setting. The area is ideal for birdwatching and is renowned for countless species of birds, both migratory native.
Included is an unlimited-use day pass to Sandbanks Provincial Park for one vehicle.
