Great cottage and location! We were within walking distance to great restaurants and shops. We felt right at home and had all we needed. Laura is a fantastic host! She went above and beyond. We would love to stay again.
Quiet, clean, comfortable (the beds were really comfortable) and close to town, golf course, beaches! What more could a person ask for? Great communication from owner, easy check-in. Would definately like to rent again!
This was everything we wished it would be! Beautiful outside oasis for us to enjoy! The house was equipped with everything you would need and more!

Great place to stay .....
The cottage is comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay here. Friendly neighborhood, hiking, bicycle riding, nice beaches and lots of sea food. Friendly owner. We hope to return. Very nice.....
The house was adorable! 2 bedrooms and 1 bath just right for my husband and I. Very close to downtown and just a short trip to the oil docks. We brought out golf cart and could go a lot of places. You can get a permit at City Hall. We sat a lot on the front deck for breakfast and on the back deck for privacy. There are 3 tv’s and Wi-Fi. Laura was the best host. You can’t go wrong staying at this place. Thanks, Laura, we will return in the future. Kimberly
Enjoyed my stay. The owner Laura was available and helpful. The distance from the Gulf is about the only drawback. The home is well laid out, kitchen well-stocked, TV's in each room if you're so inclined. The decks on the front, side and back of the house provide great spots to just sit, read, catch a few rays, eat, and listen to the birds. There is a large dog just down the block who can make a lot of noise (some might find it comfortable that he's "on the job". Overall though it was a very nice stay and I found the beaches to drive to, the restaurants downtown, and even the quirky golf course. Two thumbs up.

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
We liked it so well last year with the excellent location, easy access to the boat launch and downtown, we decided it was the place to return to this year! We love the slower, tranquil location all while having everything you need literally within walking distance. We will return!
We had a wonderful time. We visit Port St. Joe yearly. This property was so clean and exactly as described. We had a much needed relaxing time!! We will definitely stay here again. Laura was so nice and was quick to answer our messages. This was such a wonderful experience!!!
Thank you Laura for a wonderful mini vacay! This house is small but met all of our needs. Laura was very attentive and easy to communicate with. The beds in this house are soooo comfortable and we all slept like babies. Will definitely be returning!
We really enjoyed our stay at Laura's. Having two seperate bedrooms made our stay easier and allowed my husband and I the opportunity to get up early and have coffee on the covered back porch. Which we really enjoyed. The house was super cute and comfortable. We will definitely stay again if it's available when we revisit Port St Joe.

About the host
Hosted by Laura W. Mitchell
We are Tony, Laura & John and live in Marianna, FL. We have always loved vacationing in Port St. Joe.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this property when John was 9 months old. We love the beach and love to fish. We would frequent the property weekly and our favorite was the week of Thanksgiving when we would take our Christmas pictures. John is now 17 and will soon be going to University of Florida. The income from our beautiful cottage will supplement his endeavors. This home comes with much love.
What makes this property unique
I have spent so many afternoons in the back yard watching John play and Tony cleaning the boat. We would come home from a day of fishing, clean our catch, cook and eat fresh fish that afternoon. We would walk to the park or pier and sit and watch the sunset. This life is so peaceful and we have so many wonderful memories.
