LEWES & CLARK BEACH HOUSE:

Ideally located just three houses away from Lewes Beach, this 3000 SF house offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy an inviting, classy and cozy beach house that can sleep multiple families. The house offers enough area to have space to retreat and enjoy quiet time or join together in common spaces with an open kitchen and dining room/living room layout, with a two-story screened porch with views of tidal wetlands.

The house is outfitted for a retreat for all seasons, stocked with board games, books and many beach toys in the garage, fun for all ages, and also offers a novel remodel work location.

1/3 of our guests are returning families and we are honored that they choose to return.

We are currently accepting reservations for 2024 and 2025.

We rent Saturday to Saturday during the summer.

Sheets and Towels are not included in rental.

Guests may use linens such as dishtowels and beach towels provided if they are washed and dried for the next guests.

Sleeps 15 for adults and children in bedrooms. If all adults, sleeps 12.

In addition, there is a full sized sofa sleeper in the main living room and a crib (+2 and a baby).

THE LEWES & CLARK BEACH HOUSE SLEEPS 15 WITH MANY OPTIONS:

1st Floor bedroom/living room (2 QUEEN SOFA BEDS) with adjoining bathroom and second living room with (full sized sofa bed) provides flexible sleeping options for up to 6 on 1st floor. This 5th Bedroom can also serve as a 2nd Living room with 48” wall mounted flat screen tv with 500+ channels, DVD player, books. It has 2 queen-sized pull out sofa beds, and adjacent newly renovated bathroom with shower.

2nd floor sleeps up to 11 plus a baby crib.

1ST FLOOR * DOWNSTAIRS - GATHERING, COOKING, DINING AND RELAXING IN LIVING ROOM & KITCHEN AREA*

Return from the beach entering from the back deck after using the outdoor shower and dropping gear in the garage. Then, grab a cold drink or snack from the second refrigerator and pantry in the laundry room. The Lewes and Clark Beach House layout makes it easy for family and friends relax and gather on the first floor together or in two separate living areas with relaxing gathering space on the screened in porches.

The open living room/dining/kitchen centers conversation and activity between the dining room table, adjoining the chef’s kitchen, bay-window reading nook, and the fireplace seating area. The dining room is well equipped with a wonderful library of books, puzzles and games.

KITCHEN:
Meals are a collaborative activity with the kitchen's open layout, overlooking the living/dining room. The well-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counters, 5-seat breakfast bar and 5 burner gas stovetop with warming drawer and two ovens. The kitchen exits to screened porch and gas grill on deck. Flexible seating options for up to 19+ at mealtime in dining room, breakfast bar and screened porch, and outdoor picnic table.

LAUNDRY ROOM:
A laundry room with new large washer and dryer hosts a sink, pantry and second refrigerator on the 1st floor.

Enter the house through laundry room next to outdoor shower and two story screened-in back porch.

GARAGE:
* Lots of gear available to play or relax at the beach or go for a bike ride on the Breakwater Trail.

* Bikes, beach chairs, fins, beach bags, cooler and kayak.

* Use of bikes and kayaks are at renter's own risk, per rental agreement.
