We had a great time at this property! Hosts are great people, easy to connect with, and very helpful and friendly. While ski in/ski out is weather dependent (certain hills and lifts need to be open), it couldn't be closer to the hill and the hill is VERY easy to drive in and out of (no massive lots like bigger hills). The property is slightly dated and a little worn around the edges, but for what we needed it was great - a place for family to connect and relax and recover from skiing. We will happily return!
Condo is nice and comfortable for our family - lovely family room, fireplace and view of the mountains. Ski out when Timberline lifts open, otherwise right next to the mountain, secluded away from crowds of the resort so best of both worlds. Family enjoyed our stay and really liked Bolton Valkey ski area.
We enjoyed three days at this lovely property for the solar eclipse! The owner was lovely to chat with before booking and the property fit our needs perfectly. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Excellent location and property. Host was very informative, responsive, and helpful. Hot tub is located at Rec center for mountain that charges $20/person for a day pass to the rec center.
The location for our wedding event at the Bolton Valley Ski Resort and Lodge was perfect. The Access Road and property during a major snow event were maintained and kept clear to travel on throughout our stay. This was very important since we had our daughter's wedding and celebration during the days before and after to attend; and, with family and friends also staying at the Resort and in the area. The home provided plenty of bedding and bath linens. Weather was very cold but home was comfortably warm in the evenings.
Also, general information regarding the home and area was in book prepared by owner was very helpful.
SUGGESTIONS:
1. Definitely need to replace the sofa in the Great Room. Not a problem for us, as we did not spend most of our time during the day in the house. However, it is not comfortable and does not encourage one to want to sit long on either to socialize or watch TV in the room. Wouldn't have been satisfied if our stay had us staying in throughout most of the daytime there.
2. Need more coffee cups. Lots of extra large (soup style)
cups, but too big to keep coffee warm if used.
They closed the mountain, and we still had a good time! New furnishings and renovations underway, we are ready to go back!

Prime location to Bolton
The location to the mountain, fireplace and beautiful views were a treat! Ann-Marie was very responsive throughout booking and quick to answer our questions before during and after our stay.
The condo is dated as previous reviews mentioned and there were some additional items that weren't as expected upon our arrival (dog hair, semi-stocked kitchen and older/worn furniture). With that said, Ann-Marie was very open to our feedback post stay, and it sounds like this condo is going to get some upgrades for next year! All in all, we made some great memories as a family.
This is the quintessential ski condo. Close to mountain base and ski in/out too. Would go back in a heartbeat, or even buy it off of you when you're looking to sell! ;)
Great location -- a two minute drive to the mountain (Bolton Valley). Comfortable condo with nice fireplace and plenty of space for us to stretch out and enjoy the Vermont woods. Our family of five had a great time and we can't wait to come back again!
Our family of five and two grandparents loved our stay in this mountainside condo. We loved the cathedral ceiling and well-equiped kitchen, fireplace, and multiple nice porches. We all had a great time skiing from the condo right down the trail to Timberline Lift. Linens were also nice and cozy -- always a plus!
although snow wasn't great, location was good for our family to connect and relax. not enough towels for our group, but host quickly responded when we informed her.
The townhome had a wonderful, close location to Bolton Valley

A gem tucked into the mountainside of a snowy valley
This condo allowed us a wonderful ski vacation! We are a family of four, and it provided more than ample space for us to enjoy fireside time together upstairs in the large living room and open kitchen, as well as enjoy privacy downstairs in the two bedrooms. The condo hosts a bathroom off of each bedroom as well as s half bath upstairs, which is great. The only issue we could have had was that it was not ski in/out because of the incredible amounts of snow accumulated out back (which hardly seems like a fair complaint!) and because the lower/Timberllime lift wasn’t always running due to wind. The condo itself could use a little TLC, but it is indeed a ski condo and perfect for that purpose. The people who work here are super friendly and helpful. Even the resort owner came to chat with us at lunchtime in the lodge! We enjoyed delicious food on the mountain, and had everything we needed to enjoy family meals at home as well. Aside from the excellent skiing, we hope to return to watch the amazing sunsets from the cozy and beautiful front deck, which we also enjoyed thoroughly.

Great location for skiing at Bolton Valley
We enjoyed staying at this condo. We bring our dog on vacation and this was the perfect spot to ski off and check on her. The Condo was great. It is a little dated and worn, but good for an active family with a pet. Loved the fireplace and plenty of wood. Our only issue is if you go there and it's icey, you need 4 wheel drive. We did not have 4 wheel drive and left early due to weather and getting out down the hill.
The ski on and off is only if a certain lift is open. For us it opened that day but day 3 was not open due to weather. (icey/wet). So you would have to drive (short) to the base lodge (there was no public shuttle) Overall we enjoyed our stay and I do recommend if you want a casual condo and good location.

Great Family Vacation - Exceeded our expectations
Having never heard of Bolton Valley we were not sure what to expect. It is not a "resort" experience but an awesome local mountain with fantastic terrain. We had both Green/blue skiers as well as more advanced skiers and this had something for everyone. Our family LOVED the glade skiing - some of the best we have ever experienced (partially thanks to the several feet of snow we had while there!) Lift tickets were also relatively inexpensive compared to other mountains and despite a holiday weekend, lift lines were almost non-existent.
The condo we stayed in was perfect for our two families of 4. We each had a bedroom with its own private bath. We stayed in the guest room with the bunkbed and the other family had the master and used the aerobed for their two kids. The upstairs loft area was spacious and comfortable. The ski-in/out was super convenient and we were fortunate that Timberline lift was running the entirety of our stay. If not, it would have just been a very short drive up the hill to the main lift. We also enjoyed spending a day on the nordic trails cross country skiing.
Ann-Marie and Scott were super communicative and helpful in the process. Highly recommend giving Bolton a try and staying here. We will most likely be back!
