Lovely home

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Plenty of rooms, nice large home. It is a perfect place for us because we have family less than 2 minutes from this home! The convenience was wonderful! Thank you! Would like to stay again!

Unresponsive Owners

I would not book this house again. We showed up and the house was not cleaned. We tried to reach out to the homeowners but nobody responded to us. Vacasa/VRBO could not reach them either. We had no power Friday so we stayed somewhere else.

Lovely Log Home!!

Beautiful home, awesome kitchen, plenty of places to sit and sleep and close to LoLoma Lodge where we were taking part of a family wedding, Wish we could have stayed longer! Only issue is if you open the windows at night, there is some road noise from trucks using their airbrakes in that stretch of the highway. Otherwise perfect place.

Cabin with room for family

Overall it is fine cabin. Kitchen was updated. Getting heat circulated in the cold weather was difficult. Space heaters would have been nice especially since the heat is located only in living room and kitchen areas. There was one but it did not work. Anyone with mobility issues would have issues at this house as the stairs going upstairs (to the nicer bathroom) are very steep. Little kids would be a challenge as the stairs would be scary for them to use. Plenty of beds for everyone but if kids don't want to be away from mom and dad it could be an issue. Worked fine for our situation and nice walking trail close to house.

Great time, great location, great groundskeeper, would recommend

Fantastic stay for family and friends who visited over the holiday. Great location and just far enough out of town for privacy. Love the house and river location. Groundskeeper was very nice and personable. --- 5 stars all around. Only recommendation is replacing door knobs on doors in the house. -- i recommend they are replaced as a few are falling off doors and i could see someone getting stuck in a room and that wouldnt be good ;). -- will definitely recommend and would love to stay here again

Mountain Getaway

Great, clean spot for a weekend getaway with friends. 30-40 mins away from some hikes in the Cascades. The kitchen set up, grill, and appliances are great for cooking and sharing meals. This property is managed by Vacasa and even though we messaged a few questions prior to our stay, we never heard back. It is true that there is little to no cell service and we couldn't really connect to the WiFi at the house. I didn't mind getting off the grid but just a heads up to anyone else!

Wonderful house deserves housekeeping

When we arrived, housekeeping had obviously not been there, nor did they show up after notifying manager, so we had to clean it ourselves. Fortunately, there were plenty of cleaning supplies, towels and linens. We were told that we would be credited the housekeeping charge, and I'm waiting for it to show up on my statement. The house itself is lovely and conveniently located for hiking, white water rafting (We used High Country Expeditions and couldn't have been happier). Bring an extra fan (and extension cord) if its hot, as there is no AC upstairs, where 3 of us slept, and it can get quite hot! The loft bed is hard, but the rest of the beds are comfy. The highway noise does quiet down at night, which was nice. Bring your own foil, wraps, oil, and a non-stick med fry pan if you want one (there was large and small stainless steel). Basic spices provided, TP, soap, shampoo, etc. Look for a new toaster, as the white one we used caught on fire (and had apparently before also). Overall, it was a lovely place to stay...other than hot nights and having to do our own cleaning.

Great location

This property is in a great location rite along the river. There is easy access to many features along the Mackenzie river. Everything is within a short distance (about 5 mile radius) from cabin. Make sure to grocery shop before arrival as the closest grocery store is located in the main town of Eugene. Although, there is a small convenience store and coffee shop/restaurant down the road. The cabin was spectacular as the kitchen was spacious and the beds were comfortable. One thing to take into account was that there were Blankets and towels laying in the closet/laundry room and we were unsure what was clean or not. Also, bring your own condiments as the kitchen has none. Other than that everything was spectacular!

Avoid this rental!!

There was long hair all over the downstairs bathroom, walls, floor- everywhere. Disgustingly dirty floor. I don't think it had been mopped for a long long time. I cleaned before my family arrived. The toilet upstairs was only half cleaned The coffee maker had old used and moldy grounds from the previous use. There was a large load of half dried towels in the dryer. There was a stack of plates in the cupboard that each was so dirty it seemed like butter was smeared on each one. A bowl with cobwebs and mouse droppings. Empty bottle of pellet stove lighter fluid so had to use lit paper towels to light the stove, no working lighter. The list is much longer than this. I’m not sure what cleaning standards they use here.

Perfect for a Group or Family Getaway!

Wonderful home! Roomy, spacious kitchen and living areas. Perfect for 3 generations of our family, in town for a wedding just up the road at Loloma Lodge. Tons of space for everyone to spread out or gather together! Nice back yard for Bocce Ball or other games. Big table for games and meals. Comfy beds and furniture. Very clean and cozy. Only thing off was that there weren’t any extra towels. As it turned out, we discovered on our final day that they were all in the dryer, along with a couple sets of sheets. Because there was so much crammed in the dryer at once, all were still damp and a bit stinky. Needed to be washed again. Tried to communicate with local contact “Kevin”(?) a couple of days before our trip but did not revive a response to call or email. Sent a text and got a reply “wrong number”. May need to update the contact information in the listing. Also, the access to the deck overlooking the river is through the neighboring property and not clear how to get there. Signage and more clear instructions would be helpful. We felt like we might be trespassing. Aside from those minor glitches, we can’t say enough good things about the home, amenities, yard. We would come back again and again and recommend this home very highly. The setting was spectacular. We felt at home as soon as we stepped inside. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Great cabin in McKenzie River

Stayed at Renee's Log House in McKenzie River last week. Place is clean, nice bedrooms, good beds and with a large kitchen space. The wifi worked better than advertised and it is great for a family. Close proximity to a couple of restaurants and near Tokatee golf course. Had no issues during our stay and will definitively come back on our next trip to McKenzie River.

Perfect setting for a small and intimate wedding.

Renee's Cabin was a beautiful clean log cabin perfect for my small woodsy setting wedding. The large kitchen was great for cooking and entertaining our guests. The bedrooms were immaculate with very comfortable beds. The grounds were very manicured and beautiful with lots of trees and a relaxing setting. The owner definitely pays attention to details and went out of there way to make sure everything was the best experience for my wedding day. We also enjoyed the river deck access in the back. We were able to get some lovely photos. Our stay is one that will always be remembered and we hope to come back again to have more fond memories.

More funky than it should be

We arrived to dirty bedding and an uncleaned place. The housekeeper had to be called and browbeaten into returning to finish his work. We helped change and a make the beds. Don’t know if the bath rooms were actually cleaned after the prior use. We did receive clean towel. Woo Hoo! The place is damp and smells of mold. This was a lot of money for less than motel 6 standards. We know help is hard to find, but if you cannot maintain and present your properties in at least a second class way, you should not rent them out. Your corporate reputation has been damaged greatly.

Rustic and Cozy

We loved the wooded setting. The cabin offers plenty of room and comfortable. Our friend has had a stroke and he was quite contented with the facilities. Walk in shower, comfortable bed.

check in was a mess.

check in was horrible. We got to the property at 4 pm. Walked in and there were dishes in the sink. Beds were not made. Towels on the stairs. Floors were a mess. Dining room table was not clean. We had to call TWICE TO GET A CLEANER OVER. We did not know that to do with our cold food, because the fridge was not cleaned. It was. a mess. We had a family reunion and all of our family members could not get there stuff in. So we waited until the cleaners got done cleaning.. About 2 hours.

Great Place to Stay!

I just had three childhood friends fly down from Alaska and we stayed at this cabin for four days. It was a golf trip and this place truly over-delivered. It was clean, comfortable, and warm feeling. The owners were in touch to make sure everything was perfect. If you are looking for a great place to relax and enjoy, put this on your list! Thanks for having us.
