Twin Peaks A is a spectacularly located and wonderfully comfortable 4-bed 4-bath home located right on the skiway halfway between the summits of Silver Queen and Silver Woods chairs. Our home is the trailside half of the duplex in our photos. Easy ski in/out access even with small children. Apres ski, you can be in the large hot tub a minute after gliding home! 7 years of happy guests, and counting!
This is an amazing location, 5 minutes walk or a 1 minute gentle ski to the village, with frequent complimentary resort shuttle if needed.
Silver Star's "My OnePass" includes great activities in addition to downhill skiing. The top of tube town is an easy 5 minute walk away, and the skating pond is a quick slide downhill from there, and both are free with your ski pass.
Included in your pass is immediate access from our home to 55 km of world-class trackset nordic skiing at Silver Star accessible from the skiway at the door of the home. A dual area nordic pass expands the possibilities to include another 50 km of trails at the adjacent linked Sovereign Lakes nordic area.
Summer here is amazing too. Downhill and cross country biking is literally out the door, and the lakes of the Okanagan Valley are 30 minutes away. Relax in cool mountain comfort after your day of summer fun.
Ample ski storage is available at the house, and the outside storage shed is stocked with sleds for use just outside our door. There is also a nicely forested area a few steps off the deck.
This is a place to vacation in comfort. The majority of the interior was freshly repainted in 2018, as well as the bathrooms having received flooring updates the same year. In 2022, we fully renovated the living/dining area with modern flooring, a new fireplace, and a feature wood wall with a bench and hooks for your gear.
Inside is stocked with games and children’s books, and is equipped with cable TV, smart tv (for use with your own streaming credentials) high speed internet and a pair of high quality bluetooth speakers.
The living and dining space features a large dining table with 12 chairs plus 3 bar stools, and comfortable attractive living room seating. The kitchen is outfitted with modern stainless appliances and granite counters, and is fully stocked for simple meals or gourmet enterprises.
There is a large outdoor gas barbecue for guest use.
The ground level includes a second fridge, and offers a lot of floorspace for families to spread themselves throughout the home.
Full laundry facilities are on the ground level.
There are two gas fireplaces, one the ground and one on the main level.
There are two large water heaters to accommodate large groups in comfort.
Parking is available for 3 vehicles. Extra parking can sometimes be arranged where necessary.
We have been skiing Silver Star since 1994, and we are thrilled to have taken ownership of this property in 2018.
Dogs allowed with pre approval only, with an extra $100 housekeeping fee. No other pets.
Base housekeeping fee is $210 Cdn for up to 8 people. $20 per stay (not per night) added automatically for each person more than 8, to cover wear and tear, housekeeping, and garbage disposal costs.
