There is a comfortable reading area with a real wood fireplace, full bathroom and grill on huge back deck. The lower level boasts a very nice master bedroom with queen bed. The second bedroom provides 2 single beds. There is also a full bathroom and laundry facility. The upper level is an open loft area with TV viewing area and 2 single beds. The cabin is located just up the road from the Greenbrier entrance to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park with miles of creeks and trails to explore and enjoy. We appreciated all that this cabin had to offer. Its location was conveniently near the activities we wished to engage in, yet sufficiently distant to provide a stunning view of the mountains, allowing for a peaceful retreat.
We loved it. From the beginning when i booked this cabin it was easy. I didn’t half to worry about being there at a certain time to pick up key. There was plenty of space nice an clean. I would definitely book again.
The cabin is nice and really rustic. The only issue we had, which wasn't really a problem is that . The climate control(hvac) didn't blend well between floors. Upstairs was really warm and downstairs was kinda cold. We just grabbed a few extra blankets for the ones downstairs.
Our stay was great… the neighbors can be a little loud but otherwise it’s a nice place. The one lamp didn’t work and the one shower dripped, but otherwise it was clean and comfortable.
Great stay. The cabin was very rustic in a great location. Loved that it was close to the Smokey Mountsins, but not in the heart of Gaitlinburg with all the crowds. Did need to make sure we bough some of our own supplies of paper towels, shampoo and conditioner, laundry detergent and garbage bags.

We went on vacation from Florida, we had a super quiet time, the cabin is very comfortable, I recommend it
This is a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. It was clean and had everything needed to enjoy the weekend. We plan to visit this property again in the future.
Loved the cabin it was exactly what we were looking for for our vacation. It was relaxing and clean and I loved sitting out on the porch. It was close to Gatlinburg and not much further to Pigeon Forge. Enjoyed our time in the Rockies.
Beautiful cabin nestled in the hills. Very steep hill, but manageable with our standard minivan. Cabin was clean and beds comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.
The cabin & setting were beautiful! The loft was cozy & warm! The main floor was spacious yet inviting & the perfect temperature. The downstairs bedrooms were spacious & the perfect sleeping temp. My only complaints are that we couldn't stay longer, the beds could be more comfortable & we needed more TP for a
5 night stay. Overall, we loved it and would happily stay here again.!
We had a full size van and had no trouble getting in and out of drive, very nicly done cabin, peaceful and relaxing! We saw a lot of bear during our stay. We will be coming back next year. Jeremy is wonderful and made this so easy!
Had a wonderful time exploring the area. The view was beautiful and we got to see three bears while we were there. The cabin was clean and comfortable. I was a little nervous when we came home in the evenings that we’d meet up with a bear on the balcony in the dark, but fortunately that never happened! Enjoyed hiking in the Smokey Mountain National Park, and exploring Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge…all within a short driving distance.
We had a good time. Saw Mama Bear and 3 cubs around cabin. Road and drive very steep but fine if you take your time. Need to check outlets because some work and others don't. Over all was pleased with our stay.
The cabin was wonderful, very nice, love the view of the woods from the porch. It was a great stay, grandkids loved the loft. Saw a bear in neighbors yard, first half an hour we were there. Thursday same house had a Mama and a cub there. Was a great week.....Enjoyed it very much.
Nice area. Cabin was not comfortable at all. No furniture on main level except a glider and 2 hard back chairs. Stairs are narrow and are dangerous for an elderly guest. Beds were terrible and broken down bad. No chairs on patio to enjoy views. Only a wood picnic table. We left 2 days early because we were very uncomfortable in cabin. If you’re not looking for any days of rest and relaxation this may work for you. I think an investment in new bedding, some living room furniture on main level and chairs for the deck would be a great improvement to this property.
Overall, great stay! Biggest issues with the house were the lack of air distribution (loft upstairs was hot and basement was cold, only 1 thermostat on main floor) and my kids found the beds to be uncomfortable. We set the thermostat cold to try to cool off the upstairs but it just doesn't circulate.
Also, the road up to the house is dangerous! The host did give us a heads up for check-in but we had no idea till we got there.
The view is spectacular. We spent an inordinate amount of time drinking coffee on the deck and reveling in the glory of autumn!
We had everything we needed.
I will warn those who are older and perhaps a bit less than spry (that includes our group): Access to all of the bedrooms requires climbing very steep and narrow stairs. We finally figured out it was easier to go up and down the outdoor stairs than the indoor ones.
It would also be nice if there were USB plugs somewhere in the house.
Nevertheless, it was a great time!

Why they chose this property
This property was build by my father and his cousin in 1979. All timber was harvested locally and built with their own hands. Our family spent summers and holiday here while growing up and have so many wonderful memories that were made here. Now we just want to give others a chance to enjoy our little cabin and make their own memories.
What makes this property unique
The location is quiet but not too far away from all the action. Our favorite thing is sitting on the back deck and looking across the hollow at ridges of the National Park with a good cup of coffee.
