About this property

Modern Beachfront Getaway

Our studio is a perfect getaway for singles, couples and small families. A studio floorplan offers 1 large room that serves as the living room, bedroom and dining area. In addition to the queen bed, we have a twin futon sleeper that's great for children. Our well-equipped kitchen features a full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher as well as a Keurig coffee system and traditional coffee maker. We feature a Roku-enabled Smart TV with easy access to Netflix and Prime, along with over 100 cable channels. The bathroom offers a full size tub. There is a washer/dryer in the unit, as well. The condo complex offers four pools, direct beach access, a snack bar and an outdoor grilling and picnic area. We are just minutes away from Gulf State Park and all the great shopping and dining in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores.

Other things to know:

**There is a one-time $35 parking fee (cash only) which covers your entire stay.

Weekend getaway

Nice little condo for a couple. Great place for a weekend getaway. The beach was easy access. The parking is a little pricey and not always easy to find on a busy weekend but that’s to be expected in the peak season.

July 4th get away

The Accuracy on the listing of where we stayed was on point, we were aware of construction next door only during daylight hours A walk away to the beach and the shack down stairs was very convenient and saw fire works on the beach Lots to do and see in the local area We very much enjoyed our stay

Sugar Beach

The location was perfect. The facility and amenities were excellent. I was disappointed that the balcony overlooked a construction site. But overall it is a nice place to stay.

Orange beach

The room was great. Did not expect to be that far from the beach. It was far for us because we’re old. This trip to the beach let us know we are just too old for the beach. We paid a visit to the welcome center and the information we received was invaluable.

Was fun!

Only down side was I filtered my listings for a beach view and we had the street view with some construction haha was a tiny bit disappointed in that cause I thought we’d have a balcony facing the beach. BUT the beach was 50 steps away from where our room was. Super clean beach and around a ton of fun places and good eats.

Smaller older condo, very clean and updated. Pools were great. Easy access to the beautiful beach. We were unable to utilize the futon for sleeping as there was a metal bar preventing a comfortable night sleep. Fortunately, it was me and my daughter so we were able to share the bed. The construction started at 5:52am one morning, but it looks like they are almost complete with the project.

Lack of Maintenance

When we both arrived, we were a little bit shocked by what we walked into because of what the pictures told us versus actuality. When we got there, the garbage disposal was not working the sliding glass door to the back porch was not working and the AC did not cool.

Small but perfect for us

We did a last minute trip to the gulf for the 4th. This unit fit our needs. It needs some small things updated solely in my opinion. Blackout curtains would help keep light out at night and also keep the afternoon sun from turning it into a sauna. New pans are needed as I was scared to use the ones available. The garbage disposal was not working either which I communicated with them about. I would stay again though. It was a hike to the beach but we left our chairs and canopy in the car which was super helpful. The Sugar Shack came in clutch for lunch and their burgers are FIRE. Sugar Beach is a nice little getaway.

Good for the price

There was a vehicle that was broken into and being on the 1st floor we heard every car door being shut and alarm. Heated pool was not heated. There was also food left in the refrigerator when we arrived, so not sure that the place was cleaned very well. I was told to put a PVC pipe back for the sliding glass door but there was no PVC pipe. The security guard was very kind, but I think that if you charge $25 for parking you should have it patrolled. Great access to the beach and close to all the main attractions.

Sugar Beach is a wonderful complex with great amenities. This unit is fabulously decorated and stocked with all the essentials of home which made for a perfect weekend getaway.

Easy access to the beach. Our only complaint was the construction going on. Literally a skill saw right outside our condo door because the adjacent condo had their front door replaced. And there was construction for a new hotel next door. But, the owner did inform us that construction was going on. We just didn’t realize it would be right next to us. Otherwise, it was clean, comfortable, and fit our needs!! Thank you!
