We were in the area for a relatives funeral and no hotels were available. We found this and could not have been happier!
It was so quiet and peaceful. The room and barn were so clean. Our bed was extremely comfortable.
We loved getting cuddles from Coco and Thurman would definitely stay here again.
Thank you for a comfortable stay!
The property is beautifully appointed and managed. We loved our cozy lodge in the big red barn and even the two immaculate and gorgeous barn cats on premises were a charming part of the hospitality team. Ours was a delightful mini-getaway and we look forward to planning a return visit!
This property is on over 400 acres and is so beautiful. The rooms are comfortable. No television in the room and that was fine by us. They have lots of livestock to pet and feed. The hostess, Kelly, was very informative and helpful.
My daughter and I stayed for Round Top Antique week for one night. We arrived late and in the dark. It is well located for the antique show but when we turned on to a dirt road we got a little worried. It is pretty remote and coming in with it being dark was a little harder but the directions were good and clear. I would recommend getting there in the daylight. The barn was clean and comfortable. It is not fancy but adequate for a nights stay. The rooms are quiet small and have too many "do dads" in them for decoration. I would have preferred more room to move around and less decorations. It is a converted barn so the shower is a step up in the bathroom, probably to hide the plumbing. This made for an awkward bathroom so if you have mobility issues then the barn is not for you. There are very friendly cats that greet you when you arrive and if you leave your door open will be on your bed before you realize what happened. I love cats so this was not a problem for me but if you were allergic, this would be a big problem for you as the cats go everywhere. Lastly, I wished that there was a chain for the door. We got there late and did not see anyone else there and it is just an interior door into a barn hallway so it would have made us feel more comfortable if we would have been able to put a hook or chain on our side of the door. I liked this place and would definitely stay again.
Clean, not a bad location.
Property was not for us. One room, no closet to hang clothes, small bathroom. Community kitchen.
We were there for over a week, we are antique dealers doing business in Round Top.
I am not writing a bad review, as you review this property understand it’s a converted barn.
The property was spotless, Cathy was helpful and was positive and professional.
You will not have a bad day if you spend a little time with the goats, they will make you smile and start your day off happy.

Very Relaxing and clean
My husband and I spent a few days here and we loved it. It is very peaceful and clean. It is in a barn and we always love staying at different places like that. The bed was comfortable. The owners were very sweet. We enjoyed walking our dogs outside and seeing the horses, pig, goat and the beautiful ponds. If you are looking for a peaceful get away from it all place, this is it. We will definitely be going back and bringing the kids.
