About this property

Beautiful home in the New Hampshire White Mountains

Tucked away on a very private lot that overlooks the White Mountain forest, this home has everything you need for fun and adventure in the mountains. Access to snow mobile trails right from the driveway, Loon and Waterville ski resorts an easy 20 minute drive, hiking, Squam lake and many more NH attractions.
The recreation room is complete with bar, pool table and darts. Sit in the 8 person hot tub & gaze at the stars. May 15th-Sept 15th enjoy the 40 ft heated pool. There are 2 decks that surround the house and the pool. In addition there is a separate theater room with a 70" TV. A tree house cabin with heat and electric completes this mountain retreat.

50th wedding anniversary
Home was perfect for our party of 12. Our grandchildren loved the pool, fire pit, pinppong table and game room. Also had much fun playing hide and seek! For the adults, setting is beautiful, quiet and very comfortable. Darcy is a great host. You can feel the love in her home.

Wonderful Home and Property
This property was everything it claimed to be and more! The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood with a decent amount of space between all of the surrounding houses, and there was plenty of area for our party of 12 people and one dog to enjoy. As soon as you set foot in the home, you feel at ease and well-introduced to what is available and where everything is. Our party was simply focused on relaxing and enjoying each other's company - we never felt too far apart from nor on top of one another. Between the hot tub, the pool, the fire pit, the billiards room complete with bar top and dart board, and essentially any other amenity you can think of, this place just has it all. On top of all of this, I must mention that D'Arcy was a phenomenal host! She made sure I had all of the information I could have needed in an extremely timely manner, she went out of her way to ensure that I and my party were taken care of, and she just could not have been any nicer! We even had s'mores ingredients waiting for us when we got there - it truly is the little things like that which put you right at home. I can't recommend this place enough - just simply top-notch!

Large multi room house, Mountain View with large pool. Plenty of room and things to do at this property. Used this stay for my family vacation. Storyland and Santa’s village made a great hit with my grandchildren. Local restaurants with great food, especially The Italian Farmhouse. Made some good memories.

This is your sign!
If you’re looking for a magical, calm, fantastic place to stay with a group of people, this is your sign! The place was secluded and still easy to access. It’s within 15 minutes of a Walmart and other amenities, and D’Arcy was easy to get ahold of. I could not suggest it more!!!

Amazing Property!
I rented the property with my family and had the most wonderful experience! The house is very clean and well kept and comes with some many extras to make your stay great! The house is unique and offers to much to do without even leaving the property! We enjoyed everything and would definitely stay again. If going in the summer, there is no AC, but plenty of fans/windows that we didn't even notice.

Remarkable stay
We had a fantastic stay at this property. It is a very large and friendly in every respect house. Great rooms, pool, hot tub, and many other large and small amenities. A lot to do for kids and adults. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Waterville valley is less than 20 min away so the place is great in any season. Highly recommended!

Perfect Getaway!
I can’t say enough good things about D’Arcy and her wonderful property. The house is perfect for a large group and has so much to offer — TVs, a pool, a hot tub, a pool table, a karaoke machine, a bar — I could go on and on. D’arcy goes above and beyond regular host duties. She offered us an early check in and late check out for no additional cost, she is incredibly communicative, and the house has helpful notes around every corner to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. The beds are comfortable, the house is very clean, and my friends and I had an amazing weekend. We hope to come back again next year!

Look No Further
This rental property was everything we hoped for. It had all the bedrooms and bathrooms we needed. The house was clean and well supplied. There were more amenities than we even had a chance to use. It was the perfect gathering place between scheduled events we were in the area for. Extended family came by to visit and enjoy the pool and outdoor sitting areas. The view from the house is outstanding. D'Arcy was the best, most thoughtful host we have ever encountered in our many rental experiences. We would return in a heartbeat.

Perfect Getaway
The pictures do not do this property justice if that is possible,it was amazing. There was everything thing you could need there. We took advantage of the games room, games outside, pool, hot tub and bar. The tree house was delightful my teenage grandson slept in it, the bed is comfy and a full bedding supply out there for the bed and upper bunk. Even a stand up AC unit. My only small thing to add for families is that it is not actually 6 bedrooms, there are 5. There are rooms that can sleep additional people, the sun room and theater room have sofa beds and the pull out love seat in the dinning area sleeps some one plus the tree house. We did have plenty of space. Overall the house was everything we expected and more.

Perfect for getting your crew together
We had another fantastic stay at D'Arcy's place for our annual Women's Weekend. The house has everything you need to hunker down for the duration of your stay, and there's so much to explore on the area of you want to venture out. Our group of 10 had plenty of space, and we enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and the plentiful entertainment options throughout the house. We can't wait to come back again next year!

Cozy and comfortable, well equipped home with all the space, amenities, and entertainment you could need for a family gathering. There's something here for every age! Relax in the hot tub, play games/pool, enjoy mountain views and the sounds of a flowing river in the distance, all while just minutes from the convenience of Plymouth. The thoughtful hosts carefully appointed their home for guests and are very responsive to any questions or concerns. We had a blast. Couldn't have picked a better place for our family gathering. We are already planning a return visit. Thank you! "Deer to the Heart" is truly a gem.

Our weekend at the house was awesome! we loved the speakers throughout the house and the pool, especially the amount of pool games. the rooms were even better than in the pictures. Definitely a hidden gem and would stay again.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with NH because it is truly a four season state. There is something to do all year long. Our children grew up here experiencing the great outdoors and all it has to offer. There is truly something for everyone in NH!

What makes this property unique

This property sits on the edge of the White Mountain forest. It is a short walk to hiking trails, a river and waterfalls. Once on the property the whole world melts away in its private and serene setting. The best part is if you want to leave and go explore there are more than enough options, but if you would rather just stay put, we have everything you need for the perfect get away.
