The Round the Sound swim race brought our group to Bermuda in early October. We considered several accommodations, and decided on 15 Old Road, hosted by Leroy and Dina. We chose this VRBO on proximity to our race and race headquarters. Further to this we read several positive reviews and this settled our decision. Our group originally consisted of four people, set up in two bedrooms, unfortunately, one member had to cancel at the last minute (Covid). That being said, the location easily accommodated the three of us, sporting two bedrooms, one washroom, kitchen, living room and out door dining room. We overlooked the ocean and ate dinner outside very night watching the beautiful sunsets. Leroy came to check on us nightly, to ensure we had everything we needed, arranged some taxi services, and in tight spots provided transportation. We read in the reviews that the location was close to a grocery store and Shelley’s bay. in reading the review, we did not realize how significant this was. We literally shopped for fresh fish every night and ended most days swimming in Shelley’s bay, which had a beautiful beach and an aquarium like water filled with hundreds to thousands of fish. Finally i have to mention that this location, crosses the railway trails offering access to the flats where the actual aquarium is and in the other direction access to fantasy and crystal caves. Both decent walks, but adds to the adventure, that is and was Bermuda. If asked, i would both recommend and stay again at this VRBO. Thank you Leroy and Dina.
