Perfectly located just 6 houses up from the beach, this charming, beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is just a 10 minute walk to the amusement park, restaurants and pier or to Ocean Park with it's charm of yesteryear. 1st floor includes updated kitchen well stocked with many amenities, and a cozy porch for coffee in the morning or cocktails at night. 2 air conditioners downstairs, with ceiling fans to make it comfortable throughout. 2nd floor features 3 air-conditioned bedrooms -- all freshly painted and newly carpeted. Whether you are looking for a romantic get-away or a fun family vacation, this is the spot for you! Within a short 5-mile drive, you'll find Funtown/Splashtown, Aquaboggan, golf courses, bowling and movie theatres. Portland, LL Bean (Freeport), and the Kittery Outlets are within a half hour drive. Just bring your sheets & towels; we provide the rest! Amenities include beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, charcoal BBQ grill, etc. Clean and comfortable, the house has A/C in bedrooms, heat, fans, 3 flatscreen TVs, stereo, and games/puzzles/books for lots of family fun!! Enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee in the enclosed porch or on the fenced in private patio area. Wi-fi is also available. Washer/dryer, microwave, keurig coffee machine (and regular drip Mr. coffee maker). Plenty of pots, pans, glasses and dishes to meet all of your cooking/serving needs. Quaint Home Close to the Beach

We really loved Cheryl’s place. The location is unbeatable and the decor of the home adds the perfect touch for a getaway vacation. Would absolutely stay again.

Super place

Location is perfect less then 1 minute of walk. House is very clean, alot of Smalls surf board, beach chair and beach toys. Thanks to Cheryl and Mike, the owner, they are easy to comunicate with them

Amazing vacation!

My husband and I enjoyed such a nice week at this house! I honestly don’t think the pictures do it justice with how beautiful this home is. Beautifully decorated, well stocked with everything you need and could think of, and the close proximity to the beach made our time in OOB absolutely amazing. The next time we return to OOB, we will definitely consider renting this home again. Thank you so much!

Great week at the beach

Stayed here with my husband, my parents, and our 2 boys. Amazing location and really nice house. Downstairs is very spacious and great closet space. Incredible amount of games and beachgear which was great b cause we came from the south so we're very limited in what we could bring with us.

Old Orchard Beach House

This home is warm, comfortable and a blast from the past. Everything was in order. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and everything you need is within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay and plan on visiting again.

Amazing location!

We had an amazing time. the porch is amazing and the proximity to the beach was perfect. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed for a lobster dinner. I didn't realize that we would need to also bring kitchen towels and bath mats, but will know next time. The beds were comfortable, the only thing I would say is it seems the carpet needs a good cleaning. The host was super responsive when we had a question. and was super understanding when our dog damaged a throw pillow. I highly recommend this listing.

Summer family getaway

The property was in a prime location for our family. Just far enough away from the busy pier but close enough to walk. The location to the beach was prime. The house was close enough if you forgot anything for the beach you could easily run back to get it. The home was a quintessential beach retreat. Cute beach/cottage decor. The outdoor shower was helpful to wash the sand off. We loved the board games and the front porch especially. We are grateful for our stay!

A wonderful location with many things to do for children.

I'm the kind of person to drive to our destination, park and walk everywhere. This is the perfect location!!! The beach was about a football field away, two local stores, one with a restaurant two houses away. Now the beach, clean, deep and 7 miles long with plenty to do along the shore.

Chill by the sea!

This was a wonderful property. Close proximity to the beach and a beautiful well stocked house! Parking was easy, there was a small market nearby for breakfast/ milk, etc., and we fell in love with the front porch! Cheryl was wonderful to deal with-prompt and kind with her responses! I would highly recommend this property!

Nice Beach House

This was our second time in this beach house. Although some aspects are in need of a little TLC (new door knobs on two of the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom) and paint on the kitchen door), overall the house is very welcoming and cozy. It had everything that we needed and more. The biggest advantage is its proximity to the beach! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful family vacation

My family had an amazing week at Old Orchard Beach. This beach house had everything we needed - close proximity to the beach, multiple full bathrooms, a grill and a perfect location. The beach is so close that you can see it from the relaxing screened in porch. I’d recommend this house to anyone looking for a true home away from home. We made a lot of great memories on our vacation and can’t wait to get back to the beach!

Great location

We had a great week in OOB, this house could not be in a better location for enjoying the beach and all the other activities in the area. It was so nice to not have to pack up and bring all our beach stuff - they have everything you could need for a beach day neatly stored in the yard. The outdoor shower was so great for rinsing off kids ! The house is very welcoming and the kids enjoyed all the vintage beach decor and games. we spent most of our time on the front porch which has an ocean view and a nice breeze, I will miss having morning coffee out there and hope we can come back next summer !

Cozy and Close to Beach Gem

This is our second stay at Cheryl and Mike's property and it was unchanged and just as wonderful as our first stay. There's something nice about having a familiar place to return to when vacationing. The decor is beachy and beautiful and there is plenty of space to make yourself at home. Our kids love the big selection of board games and puzzles for down time and the breakfast bar that opens to the kitchen window is a fav spot to start the day. You couldn't ask for a better location. We love the convenience of being so close to the beach especially with young kids. Tami Lynn's is right there for a quick bite to eat and we even manage to walk to the pier area without issue. Cheryl is super responsive and honestly there isn't an amenity missing. We were grateful for air conditioning during the heat wave this month. If you have the opportunity to stay with these hosts, don't pass it up!!

We LOVE this house!!!

This is our second summer staying at this property! Once again, it was a fantastic stay! (The amazing weather also helped!) The house is exactly as pictured and described, super clean upon arrival, and has everything you could need, including beach gear like chairs, boogie boards, and a cart! They’ve included just about every kitchen gadget you could need to create a great meal! Our family pretty much stays in and cooks every night, and we took notes from last year that we didn’t need to bring as much this year because they literally have everything! The front porch is our favorite part of the house for sure! An awesome house that is steps from the beach and a short walk to the pier! You won’t be disappointed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! When they say all you need to bring is sheets and towels they mean it. Everything we needed was right there. Location was excellent. Approximately 3/4 of a mile to the Pier. The only time we drove was when we took a ride to South Portland to Sea Dog Brewery, which was only 20 minutes away. If I had to change anything at all it would be the location of the master bedroom. Out of the 3 bedrooms it was the smallest. We really enjoyed the enclosed front porch. Another nice feature was the mud room and first floor bathroom right off of the mud room. We were very lucky weather wise as well. All in all I would recommend this beach house!

Ideal Family Beach Vacay Spot

I can not emphasize enough how perfect this home is...from the beachy decor to the homey spaces to relax in and the thoughtful touches that made my life as a traveling mom easier and entertained four kids. We've been vacationing in OOB for the past four years now and so far Cheryl and Mike's home wins for checking every box. We LOVED being able to roll out of bed and walk right to the beach on a whim without worrying about parking and the freedom of being able to leave for a quick break. The variety store is a stones throw away for any treats or forgotten necessities. Use of the washer/drier enabled us to pack less and truly besides bedding and towels everything is thought of for you. The kids were thrilled to have so many games and puzzles available to them for any downtime (which wasn't often as the weather was gorgeous and we were able to be on the go a lot). We bbq'ed one night and enjoyed bouncing around the local restaurants for the remainder of our stay. It was also incredibly handy to fit two vehicles in the driveway as we had such a big crew. My littlest is going to miss the breakfast bar as that was her fav spot to sit each morning and "order" breakfast through the window. Lol. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!!

Perfect summer get-away

With a location that’s an easy walk to the fun and excitement of OOB as well as the quaint and charming Ocean Park this adorable beach house provided everything our family needed for a fantastic vacation. An amazing rental property

My family has rented The same house for about 20 years. The owner recently sold and we lost our week during the pandemic. This is our first time back to Old Orchard Beach and I can’t tell you how pleased we were with every little thing about that house. There was so much thought put into things that are there to make your trip enjoyable ,fun and comfortable. The house is decorated like a house not an empty shell with a bed there are so many useful things in each room. Can’t thank you enough For our delightful stay.

Amazing property just steps away from the beach!

My family and I just spent a wonderful week at Cheryl & Mike’s property. The house was exactly as pictured and was very clean upon arrival. Our favorite spot in the house was the porch area which we hung out in every evening after a great beach day! There were enough AC’s and ceiling fans throughout the house and in the bedrooms to keep comfortable even on the hottest days. We are a family that loves to cook and were all appreciative at how well the house was stocked with everything we could possibly need to make a great meal! The location was absolutely perfect as we were only steps from the beach! We’ve already booked again for next year and cannot wait to return!
